it clearly brought up a lot of it sparked an intense amount of bipartisan backlash. republican senators like senator lindsey graham, one of the president's top allies, warned that you should not be doing this. we found out the office of management and budget has listed -- lifted their hold on that fund. thatacklash was so intense senators felt it prudent to -- there was a debate yesterday during the senate appropriations committee, senator durbin wanted an amendment to ensure the administration no longer tried to free up eight to ukraine. revolutionontinuing -- resolution also includes a provision preventing the president from holding up further aid to the ukraine.

this has become such a bipartisan swell that lawmakers in both the house and the senate on both sides want to put gold has been -- >> give us one of the key players you're watching as the spending debate continues question mark -- continues. caitlin: the focus is on the senate appropriations chairman, house appropriations chairwoman nina. they will be the key. the house and senate has to spending bills that will provide updated spending levels for the federal government. there needs to be some kind of compromise there.
