[applause] about aou have heard lot of those plans, ending corruption, universal childcare, student loan debt forgiveness, free college, historic investment in affordable housing , rebuilding the middle class,

my name is betsy. i am a field organizer here. i have lived here for five years. thanks for making this community and amazing home. i know, right. i am really excited today because i share a lot of similarities with elizabeth warren. i don't want to brag. ,e are both blonde haired blue-eyed, cold betsy, groep and conservative families. in the three brothers military, and my older brother zach was a military police officer in the marines. yeah, let's hear it for our veterans. [applause] he served overseas in 2013. he also struggled with years for addiction and mental health issues, and in the summer of

2016, he took his own life, yeah. particularly not a unique story. statistically 22 veterans each day commit suicide, and we know veterans are at a much increased risk of developing substance abuse disorders. onlyeterans community is one of several communities devastated by the opioid crisis in this country. senator warren has the most aggressive plan to date to fight that crisis, and that is why i proud to work for her. [cheers and applause] >> her plan allocates over $100 billion in the next decade to fighting this crisis, and even

make theer plan will people who are profiting off of the diction pay for the recovery of those who are suffering. [applause] admit that i felt so 2016, but i don't feel helpless when i'm knocking on doors or making phone calls for senator warren. yes, very nice. yeah. i believe senator warren is fighting for me, for my family, and more importantly, she is fighting for every person whose life has been touched by corruption and corporate greed. we will have some neighbors in nebraska, so glad to be able to expand our coverage and have more people to help cover the news, especially politics. >> let's get straight to it. the iowa caucuses start monday. we are hearing a bunch of caucus goers are still undecided two days away from the caucuses. what are you seeing on the ground in des moines right now? >> it is amazing. we have been writing about that for a couple of weeks, talking to the iowa democrats still undecided, which for us, reporters on the ground covering this for more than a year, it is amazing to hear how many iowa democrats still haven't made up their mind. one voter has narrowed her list down to four candidates, which

is something you think you would here in august or september, not two days before the caucuses. >> what does that tell you? caucus-goers haven't made up their minds yet. is the feel that strong or that weak? >> i think they really like this field of candidates, and it is so big. we were in the 20's at one point. it has gotten smaller since then , but i think there are 11 total running. democrats joe only genuinely like these democrats. december, i hopped on a plane and have been knocking on doors and making phone calls ever since.
