washington post. that is happening in michigan. stop the count was the chant there. i want to take you to arizona yesterday. we talked about arizona, a razor thin margin there. --zona state, that associate associate press and fox news called for joe biden. gathering outside the state capitol in arizona, supporters of president trump calling for the ballots to continue to be counted. they believe president trump still has a chance to win arizona'snd one of republican members of congress, paul gosar, joint one of those gatherings in the state capital yesterday. here is some of the scene that he posted from that gathering. you can hear the count devote chant in this video. vote chant in this video.

"please go online and track your vote. my voted i learned that was canceled due to a questionable signature. i was able to fix it." from steve, "allowing meaningful access is not an unreasonable rule unless you have something to hide." ivan is next, a supporter of your biden from tennessee. caller: good morning, pedro. for joe biden. you know, the postmaster general
11:53 am
was taking up mailboxes and stuff, nobody even said anything about that. then the piece of paper that was protested, those people you see right there, trump supporters, they was coming in there and doing all the damage that they did. they wanted to claim that the democrats was doing it. it is those people that you see chanting out there that was in the protest, and they are the ones. larry is next up, maryland, a supporter of president trump. hello. caller: there is rampant fraud. the congresswoman from arizona said there are 600,000 uncounted votes, fraud transpired in philadelphia. the sharpies, they showed a ofyer with a camera, a video

-- and joe biden is a chinese operative and we are heading toward a civil war. make no mistake about it. he doesif joe biden, if not get in the white house, he is going to prison. steve in oako ridge, tennessee, a supporter of joe biden. hello. caller: good morning, pedro. i would like to address the lady from south carolina that stated that the democrats are willing to lie, cheat, and steel to win the election. in 2018 i lived in north republicand the candidate was mark harris, a retired preacher from the biggest baptist church in charlotte. caught harvesting votes. he denied it. he went before the election board and he denied it, and his son got up in front of the election board and stated that his father was lying at new what
11:55 am
was going on. so if you want to talk about lying and cheating and stealing, there is a good example. i think also the top three republican officials in north carolina were indicted for the postmastero general is under investigation right now for illegal contributions. all those folks that are out there saying that the democrats are going to lie, cheat and toal, if you would get john fact check that, i would think that would be great. host: greg in new carlisle, ohio, a supporter of president trump. you are up next. caller: good morning. i would like to know why donald screwed.being from the very first day until 20's ash from the very first day of 2016 until now -- from the
11:56 am
very first day of 2016 until now. he is being screwed. i believe donald trump has the presidentart of any -- that any president has. would you answer me this, yes or no? trump -- i'm sorry. host: we will go to rebecca in california on our line for others. caller: good morning. i just really wanted to make a couple of comments. my concernmment is is president pelosi. if trump is going to do all these lawsuits, that just goes on and on and on, and it is my understanding that if a certain amount of time goes by and a decision is not made, that the speaker of the house becomes the president. now, my second comment is, we are screwed either way.
11:57 am
if biden wins, he is going to lock us up for three months to get rid of the virus. if trump wins, he is going to open us up, and you will have to enter the world at your own risk. my last thing is i would like to advocate for the american people. we cannot take much more of this. we are on the edge of the ledge. we've got to see some kind of resolution here. thank you. host: rebecca, to your first point as far as speaker pelosi, that is a great question for john mcardle to tackle and dig into, to see the role that she may play in this to see if certain scenarios parse out. maybe he can find some answers and bring that back to us in a little bit. tallahassee, florida, a supporter of joe biden. good morning. this is bill. caller: the only victim here, people talking about donald trump as a victim, the only victim here is the u.s.
11:58 am
democracy. our republic. i am 66 years old, and i have such actions by any candidate for anything. they want to count the votes in arizona, but they want to stop the vote in another place. that right there shows you that they are not interested in getting the results and the truth, that they just want -- they are the ones trying to steal the election. military used to have up to two weeks to get their votes in because they were overseas. after the election. if they were postmarked on the day of the election. host: that is bill in tallahassee, florida. let's go to john mcardle. caller: i appreciate --
11:59 am
>> i appreciate the homework you are giving me. keeping viewers up-to-date on the latest with the vote tallies coming in, i want to take viewers to the georgia senate race, where senator david purdue is trying to hold onto his seat against jon ossoff, his democratic challenger. c-span viewers might remember jon ossoff from the very expensive georgia six special election that broke fundraising records, jon ossoff trying to knock off david purdue there. you can see the numbers separated by more than two points, but the key number here in georgia is 50%. david purdue down to 50%. if he gets under 50% of the vote, this heads to -- the race heads to an automatic runoff on january 5. even if he has higher percentage points, if it is under 50%, it goes to a january 5 special election. you will remember that the
12:00 pm
january runoff, there is a special election taking place on generally five as well, the seat that kelly leffler is trying to hold onto. she is in a race against her democratic challenger, rafael warnock, there in georgia. so georgia could become a key state january 5 with two final senate seats being decided that day. to put this in context for you, right now democrats have taken over two seats in the senate. that is in colorado and arizona. republicans have taken over one seat in the senate. that is in alabama, or senator doug jones lost his seat to tell me to prevail. -- two tommy to reveal. -- two tommy tupper ville. if thom tillis hold onto his seat in north carolina as well, they could net three seats in the senate, and the reason i
12:01 pm
bring that up is because if joe biden's president, democrats would need to net three seats to take over the senate. so the senate could still be in play if this georgia special election, the georgia regular election of david purdue goes to a runoff alongside that special election. so something about super bowl in the senate could be taking place january 5 in georgia. so we will continue to watch what happens there into peach state. it is just after 8:00, one hour of a three-hour program today. 202-748-8000 for those of you who support joe biden and kamala harris. 202-748-8001 if you support president trump and vice president mike pence. if you supported another candidate altogether, 202-748-8002. you can text us, tweet us, and
12:02 pm
you can post on facebook. we will hear from charity, starting off in the second hour. a supporter of president trump. caller: good morning. just some factual points i want to make. let me start with my history. i am working american, and i never used to be into politics. i was a default democrat, but then my boyfriend had a hand in explaining that swaying me because at first i said trump is racist, this and that, but then after some time you can literally see that he is making sense and he is making progress. the points i want to make is we are down in florida. we have already won for trump, but we basically are just sitting at home, hoping to god that the people in wisconsin, michigan, that they will do becausee diligence
12:03 pm
fraudulent things have been happening. it is actual fact. you can see that it is unprecedented. , theclosed down the county ballots. after they closed it down, they started bussing in mysterious ballots and things like that overnight, after they just closed the county down. how does that work? host: what convinces you of that fact or that assertion? caller: they have video of it happening. i believe valid observers that were not able to observe the ballots. they have video of it actually happening. so my questioning -- so my question is, and you don't even need an id to vote. so it is in plain sight. i don't see how people are allowing this to happen. host: that is charity in tampa. another floridian in devonport.
12:04 pm
this is jane, a supporter of joe biden. caller: hi. i just wanted to say that it is not so much about supporting biden, but i did work the polls for the first time this year. of the peoplemuch saying that there is all this cheating going on and they don't understand the process. it was very illuminating for me to see how the votes are counted, how the votes are registered. how they are collected at the end of the night. the polls do close at 7:00 i'm a but i did not get to leave that room until 10:00 -- but i did not get to leave that room until 10:00. all the numbers have to be matched up. everything has to be certified, and then they go into a car and are taken to another place. people might misinterpret certain things like that. but what i did see is that you are working and you are making
12:05 pm
sure the forms are correct and you are putting in the numbers the way you need to put them in, and you don't even notice who is a democrat or who is a republican. we just make sure that everyone gets a fair process. that is the overriding concern. host: how much education did you have about all this process before being -- before showing up to be a worker. caller: ordinarily it would have been a couple of hours in a classroom, but we completed an online quiz, and then of course when you show up you have your book that instructs you again. you also have several supervisors if you have a question, something out of the ordinary happens. we had three poll watchers from the trump campaign. one was from gop, one was from trump, and one was from some other organization. they never had a question. they eventually left early or smooth,t -- it was so
12:06 pm
and people should just calm down and let these folks count the ballots. many checks and balances that they don't realize. it is very hard to vote twice. host: that is jane in florida, giving her spirits as a poll worker. we will hear from a supporter of president trump in colorado. owen is next. caller: how are you doing this morning? host: fine, thanks. go ahead. caller: i just wanted to say i have been to the casino when it was the trump casino and i won even on the way out the door. but then when the indians took over, i didn't win nothing. the guy is really honest. you know what they did? relateow does this all to the electoral results? caller: yeah, what i was saying scam.is is a
12:07 pm
this is all to take trump's economy so they can win this election. but joe biden -- he doesn't even constitution, and he says we have to rely on scientists when obviously our father in heaven, god, he is the one that gives us our unalienable rights. host: why do you relate what you say is a scam directly to nancy pelosi? caller: over in california, the election, they were already calling it before they even got the votes to riverside yet. they already gave the answer out that they had already won. host: and how does that relate to speaker pelosi? know,: i mean, i don't but you look at all the states of california, oregon, they all got fires in them. host: that is owen in colorado.
12:08 pm
leader keviny mccarthy was asked about the about fraudcomments yesterday. here is his response. this is asident said fraud on the american public, this is an embarrassment to the country fulton you think the president should be slowing down on the integrity of the election? >> your questions never change. your questions never change. >> you said that last night. >> your questions never change. i think what the president wants to see is that every legal vote gets counted. >> "stop counting votes." a lot of house races are still counting votes. do you think the president should say that? >> again, your questions never change. what the president wants to make sure is that every legal vote is
12:09 pm
counted. the people vote up until election day, not the days after , as others would have. that is what the president refers to. i don't think the president exactly whatt is the president was expressing. i know you want to express something different and i know you will be upset if the president wins reelection again, but the american people have a point. the posters were wrong just like they were wrong for years ago. this is what a republic and a democracy is about. we want to make sure it is legal and fair and that every legal vote is counted, and that is what we are working towards. but i don't think people should vote after the election, no. host: from texas, a text saying you the vote, count when are winning, stop when you're losing, that is what the republicans want. mike, can we have a adult conversation? it is clear that half the country wants something different than the other half does. we are going to keep each other from being able to move forward.
12:10 pm
atyou want to text us, do so 202-748-8003. hello. caller: thank you for taking my call. i have never listen to your program before where people call in. this is so entertaining to me, these poor delusional trump -- trumper's, i feel so sorry for them. i really do. especially the lady from south carolina who said my god, there was so much read on the map. how come we don't have more vote? somebody needs to tell her that rural america doesn't have as much population. these people are delusional. they belong in a home somewhere, they really do. danielle, thank you for watching the program. you should know that we invite everybody to call and express
12:11 pm
their thoughts on the lines we have chosen. keep watching and see how other people respond to events going on currently in the united states when it comes to this election. bob in york, pennsylvania, our line for others. hello. caller: i am an independent. i have seen the vote and seen how close this is. it shows what a huge divide we have in this country. and i don't think it is going to get better. the positive note, at least it was nice to see some people that were outside talking about count the vote or not count the vote, instead of people running around burning in cities and looting stores, so i think there is this huge divide between the rural and the urban type areas. it is just unfortunate that we are going to be in a lot of trouble if we don't get this columned -- calms down, and i just don't see trump or biden as
12:12 pm
to bring this country in the right direction, especially if it is 50-50. host: what elements have to take place for calming down, as you describe it? i think we have too many politicians that have been in there for years. you look at pelosi, you look at biden -- i mean, people on the republican side. we have ald age, like geriatric government, and they are not going to get out. it is sad. if you don't get that change element -- and i mean change for our country -- i mean, i'm a veteran. i was proud of my country. i remember what kennedy said. it is not what you can do for yourself, it is what you can do for your country. have lost that in this country, and it is sad and unfortunate. i'm very concerned about how we are going to go. host: when you voted on election day or earlier, who did you vote
12:13 pm
for? caller: i voted for the independent candidate. host: which party? caller: i'm not going to mention that. host: why pursue that rather than the two parties, considering the effect it would have as far as somebody winning, and the independent candidate not winning? think: right now i don't we have enough adults on either side of these two political parties to run this country properly. they are all concerned about what they can do for themselves, not for the people of this country, unfortunately. host: st. petersburg, florida, this is cindy, a supporter of joe biden. hello. caller: hello. thank you for taking my call. yes, i have been in the middle. there are some things i believe on the left, like the environment. i am very concerned about the environment. and on the right. i want the loopholes closed in the immigration visas that are stealing american jobs,
12:14 pm
white-collar jobs. but -- so i was going back and forth as to who to choose from. the other day, for the election, i was walking down the road and i heard some music, and i had "stop-shirt on that said, overpopulation and overdevelopment." in here in florida, it is unbelievable. there is no stop to it. but that is neither here nor there. the thing is, that message is for all parties, and -- host: how does that specifically relate to joe biden? caller: when i was walking down the street, i heard this music and i thought it was a band. and i walked in and it was a trump rally going on.
12:15 pm
it, and walking through they were telling me to go kill myself. that would make one less person in piniella's county. well, if they looked at the statistics, 90 people today are moving into the county. that means with one person gone, 89 more fill the spot. host: that is cindy in st. petersburg, florida. she is referencing her location. this is john mcardle joining us. >> i want to update viewers on where we are on the presidential electoral vote count and what we are expecting today with the help of jamie longtimeox media capitol hill reporter. this was his tweet this morning. this morning should bring more updates from georgia and pennsylvania. nevada will start releasing more votes around noon eastern time,
12:16 pm
9:00 a.m. out in silver state, and arizona is not expected to update until 9:00 p.m. eastern tonight. so just to take you around the map right now of the latest georgia vote numbers. they have been changing this morning. margin in razor thin the senate race, and the presidential race also tightening. 49 point 6% for president trump in georgia, 49.2% for former vice president joe biden, less than half a percentage separating the two in the peach state right now. more results expected throughout the morning. to pennsylvania, here is where it stands with 11% still out. plenty of votes to count, president trump at 57.7%, joe biden at 48.1%. in the vada, we expect these results around lunchtime. arizona.
12:17 pm
as we said, the trump camp does still think they have a path to win arizona, even though the associated press and fox news called it early in the morning yesterday for joe biden. in biden now at 50.5% arizona, president trump at 48.1% in arizona. i want to take you through some of the tweets from the trump campaign yesterday when it comes to arizona. this is tim murtaugh, the campaign director of communications. he said president trump got over 59% in the first small arizona vote dump yesterday evening just after 9:00. that was above the 57% pace he needed to surpass biden and to win in arizona. he said fox and the associated press made a hasty call in arizona, saying the president will still win. five of the seven election decision organizations have not yet called arizona. he says fox and the ep should
12:18 pm
rescind their decisions. another decision from steve cortez also saying that the arizona numbers point to a trump win in that state, saying let's go. the associated press yesterday putting out a story about why they decided to call arizona for biden. he was there explainer. racesaid they called the at 2:50 a.m. eastern on wednesday after a number of ballots cast statewide concluded there was not enough outstanding to allow trump to catch up with 80% of the expected vote count at the time. ahead by five percentage points with a 130,000 vote lead over president trump with 2.6 million ballots counted. the remaining ballots left to be counted, including mailing votes in merrick only -- in maricopa county, were not enough for trump to catch up with the former vice president. again, expecting more results out of arizona, 9:00 p.m. tonight. we will see if there is any more
12:19 pm
movement in that state. portland, aiana, supporter of president trump. this is lee. whenr: when we talk about, you look at the map of the country, you see that the rural areas versus the urban areas, there is a distinct line how it is broken up, and the problem is, growing up in a rural area, you hear people saying, what do i have to gain? the thing is, where we are at, on these elections, what do we have to lose? a lot of us are second amendment supporters because we hunt, we fished, and we are into things like that. we are drawn between this decision of who we are going to vote for according to how our lifestyles are, and the way it is in indiana, it is a pretty republican-controlled type state. but we don't have enough electoral votes to make any
12:20 pm
difference. so from what i am seeing from here on out, the big cities are going to be controlling basically everything that we do from here on out because we cannot get enough electoral votes in the rural areas to compensate for the big cities. so it is going to affect our lifestyles and the way everybody lives in the rural areas. host: do you think that is enough of an incentive for maybe you and people who live in the rural areas to not participate in the process overall? caller: it almost makes you feel like you are wasting your time. in indiana and even ohio, where i am only about six miles from the state line, they are painting water towers for trump. there are big parades and all kind of stuff. but we feel like we are not getting anywhere because of the population of the big cities, and my wife, she lost her job to nafta. when you start talking about a
12:21 pm
lot of these policies, overseas trade and stuff like that, we have seen a lot of that effect in our area. where the jobs move out because they are allowed to do that. that is why we support trump. it is not what we can gain, it is what do we have to lose. if we lose our way of life. i wanted to put that two cents in. so i wish that people when they vote and stuff would think what they are taking away from people's lives, not just what they can gain from it. host: that is lee expressing some of the issues around the support of president trump. a supporter of joe biden in south carolina, clarice, hello. caller: how are you? thank you for taking my call. i just want to say that i support biden and i think that we need to get trump out of the chair because he don't care about the coronas.
12:22 pm
you have more to lose than gain with trump. making america great again? crap. no matter where our race and religion is -- host: are you there? caller: yes. i just feel like the rioting and stop the vote and all that is nonsense. we just need to leave it in god's hands and let the vote go on then having all the riots and the protests going on. it is ridiculous. host: john mcardle show you some of those events taking place across the united states about vote counts and people expressing their protest to it or at least what is going on. you heard from rudy giuliani before about those things, and again if you want to check those things out, go to our website, c-span.org, for the response not only from the trump campaign but also the biden campaign, when it comes to the current process of
12:23 pm
vote tabulation occurring in the states that are left to go in determining who will sit in the white house and other key races there, too. albuquerque, new mexico, a supporter of president trump. this is richard. hi. caller: can you hear me? host: i can. caller: check this out. don't hang up on me because i have something to say. during president trump's administration, all of you guys were very, very barbaric. all of you guys mistreated him. you guys did not let him do his job. you reporters on the liberal side really condemned that man and did not give him a chance. we did no such thing. i will finish. we did no search thing, but go ahead we share thoughts. caller: every time you did the bias on your station, you did not bring up the stimulus. for --w the stimulus
12:24 pm
people wanted to give money, somebody else, they had nothing to do with this tubeless. -- with the stimulus will have you guys are nothing but a bunch of our barons. leave you there because that is absolutely not true. biden, supporter of joe from michigan, your next. caller: i'm sorry about that other guy. it is like what you said yesterday. you were talking to republicans and asking why trump, and none of them could give you a good reason. i remember that. host: some of them in the front reasons forhe donald trump, but that wasn't everybody yesterday. caller: i am a biden supporter. technically right now we don't know right now where we stand because trump could still win, although we are kind of ahead. but the possibility is that
12:25 pm
trump could still stand. , you know, he's going to get money from big corporations. make them pair their fair share -- pay their fair share, and i think that is great because i have had documentation where -- i tapped, the institution of taxation and fairbury 5, 2y on largest profitts in 2018, 845 million, netflix, in which he did not pay a dime of federal or state income tax. the corporation reported a 22 million-dollar federal income tax rebate. host: is that a key reason you're supporting joe biden, the tax policy? caller: i really don't feel like i should be paying more in taxes than fortune 500 companies.
12:26 pm
that is one of the reasons. that reasons are, i know he made those comments regarding veterans, and i am a veteran. and for him to call me a loser or a sucker does not stick with me. joel in michigan. we go to robert in tampa, florida, a supporter of president trump. caller: hi, pedro, thank you for taking my call. the reason i'm calling is that i think how they treated trump the first 3.5 years of his administration was unfair. he is not a perfect man by no means, but compared to the last eight years we had with obama and biden, telling us that the jobs that left our country will never come back, so we all got to start getting used to working part-time. he brought a lot of the jobs back. and gave us hope so that we could support our families, pay our bills, and live decent lives.
12:27 pm
i'm just worried now that biden gets in there, he is going to destroy the trade deal with china and possibly give china a better trade deal, and we will lose more of our jobs. i just think it is a shame. i mean, i am for the american way in voting and stuff like that. that america is going to go backwards when it comes to its economic policies, and that is going to affect the common day worker like myself. host: do you work in an industry that is directly impacted by trade daca you mentioned china. -- by trade? you mentioned china. constructionk in and a lot of the materials are made cheaper than u.s. materials, but the quality is just not there in the material. they are at the low end of quality. it is going to affect the manufacturing in this country. another thing, i just wanted to was on trumpybody
12:28 pm
about impeachment and everything like that, which a lot of it came out to be not true. so now that they have all this information on biden about china and of course ukraine, i think it is going to be time to give them a mirror image of what they did to trump. host: we will hear from another floridian, a supporter of joe biden. i was just curious -- i don't have a whole lot of problems with trump's policies and things he's trying to do. some things are good. the thing i was curious about is , why are these people not concerned with the type of person he is? not concerned with our presidency looks?
12:29 pm
when he tried to open up schools for taking classes, they weren't even really a school. when he was running his charity in new york and he had to pay that fine and could never have a charity again. it looked like he was having a picture painted of himself that he was buying the picture himself through his charity just to launder money. how they couldto feel he is such a great businessman when he had bankruptcy seven times. money that they could not afford to allow him to go under. host: why are you supporting joe biden? thing --hat's another
12:30 pm
i don't really support drove biden -- joe biden as much as i'd like to because of the crime things with him. people with great need of medicare, food stamps, different things the democratic to keep alive. the republican party wants to kill those different departments. me, i understand there is a lot of fraud, a lot of things gone wrong. there are people who actually do need those things. you are kill it, killing those people as well. these are people who worked half of their lives and all of a sudden they need help. floridaat is robbie in calling in about

announcer: vote counting continues in a number of states including nevada, pennsylvania, north carolina, and georgia. in arizona, fox news and associated press have called the race for joe biden. as we look at the map, joe biden has 200 64 electoral college votes to president trump.
