to equate what happened overrday with the riots the past year was ridiculous. this is the first time a seat of government has been attacked since 1814. what happened yesterday was a wound to our democracy and our country. i hope americans have learned this is what happens when you put all your support in one man. his crazy conspiracies along with all these politicians that put their allegiance to trump and for themselves and the love of power and money that comes with it. it is time to get these politicians out of opposite before they destroy our great country. like in sioux falls, south dakota. that's be clear, what happened at the capital yesterday does not begin and end with donald trump. it is the result of decades of right wing propaganda and the failure of our nation's government. jean in l myra, nick -- in new york showing a split screen of

11:05 am
the lives of civilians in iraq, things that we need to fight and protest, but we are fighting and protesting for the stupidest of reasons. this is what is being viewed from outside this nation, and this is what is scary. because the things that need to be done are not being done. there are too many of us who don't understand what is needed and what is not, and we are fighting for things that make no sense, like what happened yesterday. that energy could have been put into things that were more important. we do need to restructure our laws, our government. we need to restructure our congress when it comes to their priorities. but this was not one of those reasons to fight and die for. the rest of the world is watching, and they are in shock that so much privilege in this country has created a society of idiots. i'm sorry to say that, but this
