10:49 am
was this past thursday. to see a former president be arrested for the fourth time, donald trump has four cases against him. 91 charges. our judicial system, no one is out to get him. these are things that he did himself. all of us, we heard him tell the secretary of state from georgia, all i need is 11,78 "matt lewis & the news" podcast votes -- 11,780 votes. i am grateful that our democratic system way of life has stood up because no one is above the law. you are not. it is sad that is a former president, but these are all things that he did for himself, and i will suggest to anyone look at the facts. no one is out to get him.

not a state only issue. it is a moral issue. as president of the united states, the american people will have a champion for life in the oval office. can't we have a minimum standard in every state in the nation that says when a baby is capable of feeling pain, an abortion cannot be allowed? the 15 week fan is -- ban supported by 70% of the american people. it will take leadership that stands on principle and compassion for women in crisis pregnancies. i will do that as president of the united states. >> first of all i will say it is in the hands of the people and that is where it should be but you're talking about a federal ban, be honest with the american people. we have not had 45 pro-life senators in over 100 years and so no republican president can ban abortions any more than a democrat president can ban all
10:52 am
those state laws. don't make women feel like they have to decide on this issue but we don't have 60 senate votes the house. host: let's talk to marilyn was calling from new jersey on the democrat line. the morning. good morning. caller: the republicans don't want to admit that when obama was present economy was great. he inherited a bad economy from the republicans. i'm talking about the bush family. when trump came into office, the economy was growing. gas was cheap when obama was present. the republicans don't want to admit this. why aren't we talking about the trump crime family? kushner took $2 million from the saudis but we are talking about biden's son. he is not running for president. this happened and it will go to court what have you but i don't
10:53 am
understand why republicans won't admit as far as what donald trump and his family have done. this is ridiculous. i say lock him up. thank you. host: let's go to caroline calling from nashville tennessee on the democrats line. good morning. caller: i want to express that donald trump is the dumbest president that we have ever had and the people who are supporting him are just as dumb as he are. most of them are just jealous and afraid that someone is going to come up and take their place and they want to keep everyone else down and as far as migrants are concerned, we need a lot of these people in this country to help with farming situation so that we will have food to eat because we are not willing as americans to get out there and work in these fields and try to work day and night to feed this

country. thank you, jesse. host: let's go to stephen calling from little rock, arkansas on the democrats line. good morning. caller: good morning. my concern as i was diagnosed with cancer this year and after 37 treatments of radiation, chemotherapy, by the grace of god, i have been told i am in remission. when i was suffering with cancer in is very concerning and life matter. i am afraid that our country is going so far back there so much division. democrats, republicans, independents and all-americans and everybody with a microphone should try to spread love in this country pull us back together because life is important. we have a great country.
10:55 am
i am a veteran that served my country and i love the united states. to hear people put our country down is so painful because unless you have to put on the uniform and stood up for this country, you can't really appreciate the right to vote in the freedoms. i am also an african-american, and is so appalling to me that after living for 58 years under a supreme court of the 60's, i pray that this country would come to be a christian country and turn to god and ask him -- and tried to get right with theirs. so we can move forward. host: republicans are trying to

10:59 am
here in florida -- tried interested in florida, one of then my cousin that did not know that she could not vote but he sent his goon squad after them to rest them. now will he let other people who are felons or will be crime to now vote, they don't ask people the right questions and they have them on the debate stage. ask all of them now i hope, whoever is listening, now that they said they would let a convicted, if he gets convicted, a felon into the white house that means everyone now who has been arrested has a crime or felon now can vote. host: before you run out of time, i want to bring you the information from the federal reserve chairman jerome powell. he discussed the economic outlook and monetary policy at the federal reserve bank of kansas cities economic policy
