i must be honest. the republic national committee woman -- thank you. wherever you may be pure thank you very much. republican national committee man, jim. that is a hell of a beautiful name. the name is so long. one of the greatest people, i will tell you, a man that has done so damn well. this is a guy that cannot be replaced. there is nobody like him, dana white! where the hell is he? ufc. are the boys here? there they are. and rick harrison. rick, thank you very much for being here. you are around here somewhere with dane. mr. phil ruffin, his beautiful

wife and their children. phil? where is phil ruffin? he is a legend in las vegas and beyond. he is here and will be coming out. today we talk about how we are going to end the economic suffering and stagnation at ouster of the last four years and create the greatest years in the history of our country. that is what is going to happen. and as i said in my inaugural address which, by the way, it got the highest rating in the history of fox -- that is nice. the golden age of america begins right now. but, i have to be honest with you that i am really here for a different reason. i'm here to say thank you. i went to north carolina yesterday and then i flew to see

an unbelievable problem and a mess in los angeles. and i said, you know what i got to do? i want to come to a state known as nevada. has anyone ever heard? do not ever miss pronounce the name. you should always pronounce the name correctly. have you ever seen somebody where they say --nevada? they are in deep trouble. i wanted to come to nevada to pay my respects because this is the only republican win of the state and decades and it was a really big landslide. but i think republicans are going to win a lot now but we had a big win. and it was an early win which was a bad signal for the democrats. they heard we were leaving so

big here, joe helped us so much and a lot of people in this room helped us a lot, a special group. so i said, you know what i will do? i said let's fly over it and i will land and i want to say it now -- i came here because i wanted to thank the people of nevada. [people chanting "usa"] pres. trump: i have great friends. under our leadership we are going to diffie inflation, bring down prices and we are going to raise the wages. they are going to go up. put more money in your pockets,

secure our borders and restore law and order to our cities and we are going to make america great again. and for four long years the last administration waged war on the american middle class and everyone else -- they had a lot of wars. we had no wars when i left. we defeated isis. they had a lot of wars and we are trying to put them out. we will get them put out. don't worry. we are -- we were headed to world war iii. and we would've had problems like you would not believe. they shut down u.s. energy, buried you in regulation and imposed hidden taxes and spent millions of dollars in radical left lunacy. the result was the most brutal inflation and a half century or perhaps ever in this country. and soaring prices for food, groceries and other household

goods. the people of nevada are now paying nearly $1200 per month more to make ends meet since i left office. think of that, $1200 at least. but since i became the 47th president at noon on monday i've been moving with urgency to fix every single calamity of the biden administration that they have created. and this week alone i took nearly 350 executive actions to reverse the horrible failures and but trails that we inherited from a group of people that did not know what the hell they were doing and what they have done to this country especially the open borders. they have 21 million people that came in and many are criminals, murderers. we are getting them out. you are seeking it, you saw it yesterday, the first day. our message could not be more

clear -- america's decline is over. what the world witnessed this week is nothing less than a revolution of wealth creation for everyone and common sense. with a party -- we are the party of common sense. on day one i directed every member of my cabinet, and by the way pete hegseth got approved -- [cheering] and kristi noem just got approved. she is tough, she is a tough one and she is going to do a great job. on day one i directed every member of my cabinet to marshall all powers at their disposal to defeat inflation and bring down the cost of daily life. i want to bring down prices. they were way up and did not come down. i opposed a federal hiring freeze and a regulation present

a foreign aid freeze -- that is a nice one. and i created the new department of government efficiency and we will have a lot of good people. we will get elon musk. he already is. people like him. i terminated the ridiculous and incredibly wasteful green new scale. wasn't the environment supposed to heat us up in 12 years? but that was like 13 years ago, what happened? remember that we had 12 years to live. done by someone that never even took a course on the environment. aoc plus three. they were telling us about the environment. this action alone will save hundreds of billions of dollars of american taxpayers money. i withdrew from the one-sided paris climate accord -- and i

canceled the insane and costly electric vehicle mandate. keeping my sacred pledge to america's autoworkers. boy did we get a big calm from the autoworkers. and the teamsters. we got a tremendous vote from the teamsters, thank you. they voted for us in the millions. we had a lot of teamsters voting for us. i withdrew from the world health organization. we paid $500 million a year and china paid $39 million a year despite a much larger population. think of that, china is paying $39 million and we paid $500 million. we have so many people pouring in, we have no idea.

we are going down a little bit now. you don't mind, do you? i will take some bad ones out. biden immediately went back for more money. it became so popular, i did not know it would be well received even at 39 but maybe we would consider doing it again. they have to clean it up a little bit but china pays $39 million for 1.4 billion. i don't know, what the hell was wrong with these people. and when biden went back in, they went back in. they paid more than we were paying in the first place. so they knew they could've had it for 39 but they paid more. you would not do it, joe, right?

they know they have a deal at 39 so they went back in at 525 million. what the hell? man oh man. it infuriates you. i declared a national energy emergency to unlock the liquid gold under our feet and there is rapid approvals of the new energy infrastructure. the u.s. largest amounts of -- the u.s. has the largest amount of oil and gas than anybody. isn't it nice to see -- for years, decades, we wear the same size to the square-foot, probably got smaller actually but we might be an enlarged country pretty soon. and one of the things we will be doing is drill, baby, drill. that will bring everything down.

the biden administration has also begun the largest d regulation campaign and the history of our country -- i had the record. we had a great economy, the greatest economy that we have ever had four years ago but this will be better. you watch, this will be better than even the first term. and the reason i got elected was because of the first term. someone asked, why did you get elected? and i said, my first term. that is all i said, take a look at the numbers. in total the biden administration posed 50,000 dollars in additional regulation costs on the average american. the average american was paying much more than $50,000 and just think of it, nobody could even believe the numbers. i promise to eliminate 10 old regulations for every new regulation. i did it, one in seven and we

will do one in 10 this time which will put many thousands of dollars back into your pockets in the pockets of american families. as a result of the reforms, we have just begun to increase economic confidence. this week oracle opened ai and softbank announced stargate, $500 billion investment in ai construction which will be very big for nevada. and it will create an estimated 100 thousand american jobs. saudi arabia just said they will invest at least $600 billion and this is because of the election, by the way. and i believe they will make it a trillion. i will ask them to make it $1 trillion. do you know where they made their money? from liquid gold. they have a lot of liquid gold but we have more than saudi arabia. they have a lot but we have more

than anybody. we just don't use it because of the environment. these people are crazy. and many other companies are looking to invest but i don't have enough time to do that and we have a lot of news conferences -- everyone wants to have a news conference. they are calling up by the hundreds. i said it has to be one billion or more for a news conference. one bill young or more. just two days ago because of our tariff plans, stellantis announced the revival of the belvidere, illinois plant saving 1500 american auto jobs that were previously headed to canada along with investments. detroit, michigan, and toledo, ohio and indiana. all of these investments are

happening because of our historic victory and if we had not won, it would be the opposite. they were pulling out. they would be withdrawing money. our country was on the verge very bad things and now there is light not just over america. i've heard it even from our enemies. they would call us up and say, sir, we hate you but they -- but you are the light in the world. they like sleepy joe. what is not to like? they call up and it is funny -- i was told today by one of the leaders in the world, they called for a telephone call with the president of the united states a year ago and they said, we would like to speak with -- who is this? the head of germany. or france. the name of any country, it didn't matter but he would never pick up the call.

they would say, he will call you back in two months. two months? he is extremely busy. macron of france, he will call you back in two months. two months comes along and there is no call. and they say, he didn't call. [laughter] the stories -- the stories are not very exaggerated. i want to tell you, a little bit for laughter but only for laughter. the fake news will say that he exaggerated, it was only one month, you know. but they will say, he will call you back and then he wouldn't call and then they could never get them on the phone. i speak to them immediately. they said, could we speak to the president, would it be possible at any time in the next month? i will say, no, i will pick it up. hello.

get it over with, right? the only problem is they were so starved for love from the united states, i could not get them off the phone. i say, i have to go now, king or president but you can't get them off the phone. they are starved for love. for years they haven't spoken -- they didn't even know we had a president if you want to know. under our leadership america is back open for business. and they said, there is like a light all over the world now, not just here. we feel a light over our country but there is a light all over the world and we have accomplished more in one week than other administrations have accomplished in four years and we are just getting started. we got rid of the woke crap.

what a lot of crap that was. and you know, these people were petrified of it. these companies were petrified of it. it was like -- i don't think they believed it and some i know did not believe but they were so afraid. near the top of the agenda for our historic republican majorities and congress is to pass a massive tax cut for american families. we campaigned across the country with a pledge that i'm sure was to view didn't hear too much about, pledge to take the trump tax cuts and make them permanent and that is exactly what we are doing. in the coming weeks i will be working with congress to get a bill on my desk that cuts taxes for working families, small

businesses and keeps my promise for a thing called -- and i know you did not hear anything about this and i'm sure it had no influence on the state and the fact that we won this crazy massive majority in a state that had not been won by a republican in decades but i'm sure you have not heard -- no tax on tips. no tax on tips! so if you are a restaurant worker, server, valet, a bellhop, a bartender or one of my caddies --i go through caddies like candy. if i play badly, i always blame my caddie. or any other work he that relies on tips for income, your tips will be 100% yours.

do you think that had an impact on the election? you do? pretty big. you had an impact. over 4 million workers depend on tip income included 700,000 single moms. here in nevada we will have a quarter of the typical restaurant worker's pay tips. you have not reporting them for the last 10 years. no tax on tips from now on. we will go after you viciously for all the money you did not report. we will go after you for the money you did not report. i am kidding. they will say trump is after all restaurant workers. many of these workers are some of the very citizens who were hit hard and very hard by the

ravages of the biden economy which is inflation. when i think of biden i think of incompetence and inflation. i am being nice when i say that. even in the midst of the suffering he created, he launched a cruel campaign to extract more money from tip workers and that is what happened. young waitress, i will not say beautiful because you are not allowed to say that as a politician. you used to be able to say a young beautiful waitress. this was a young beautiful waitress but i will not say that because i want to continue my political career. if you call a woman beautiful today, it is the end of your political career so i will not do it. a young greater risk, i think you can call her young. you are probably not even supposed to say young. you are probably supposed to say a waitress.

a young waitress said how are you doing. i said, how are you doing. she said, not great because they are after me so viciously for tips. they want my tip income and they do not believe me. she said it is terrible. you should have no tax on tips. i said what? what did you say? no tax on tips? that was about the amount of my consultation. it's true. no tax. say those words again. no tax on tips. thank you very much. you just won the election. [applause] we did research into it. i think it will be great. under the trump administration the forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.

they were not forgotten four years ago. on day one i halted the hiring of 90 new irs agents. -- any new irs agents. they tried to hire 88,000 and we are in the process of developing a plan to either terminate all of them or maybe we will move them to the border. i think we ought to move them to the border. where they are allowed to carry guns. they are so strong on guns but these people are allowed to carry guns. probably move them to the border. she said no tax. how about no tax period. [applause] we could do that. if the tariffs work out, that could happen if you want to know the truth.

years ago 1870 to 1913 we did not have an income tax. we had tariffs where foreign countries still are jobs, solar companies, stole our product. then we went to the tariff system and the tariff system made so much money. it was when we were the richest from 1870 to 1913. then we came in with the income tax. we don't want others to pay. let's have our people pay. then you had the depression in 1928 and 1929. it was a bad time. we did not have tariffs. you had tariffs that ended in 1913. it was the richest country ever was. it was president mckinley. we are renaming the mountain, mount mckinley. [applause]

what else are we renaming? we are renaming the gulf of america -- we renaming the gulf of mexico into the gulf of america. mexico was thrilled. a few months from now, we will deliver for the tip earning men and women who make it all work. it will be something very special. it will be a big difference. with us today is jessica, an employee here. it is a nice place. your owner is a nice man. he is rich. circa is very nice and hard-working single mother of two. jessica is struggling to pay for medical bills to remove a tumor

behind her right eye. she is saving up for a second surgery which will hopefully be successful while also paying for children's day care. jessica says that no tax on tips which transform her life. it would make such a big difference. jessica, we will get that for you. where are you, jessica? you are out here someplace. very nice. everything good? it will be good. you look fantastic. you look great. also with us is lexie, a 28-year-old cocktail server here at circa who has dreams of being an entrepreneur. lexie says that no tax on tips will help bring those dreams much closer to reach and she is going to be one of the biggest proponents. we will have a lot of support when we go before congress to get that passed. lexie, where are you? hi, lexie.

we will get it done. we are also pleased to be joined by rosanna, president and ceo of the american hotel and lodging association which strongly supports this reform. rosanna, would you like to say a few words on behalf of so many people? comeon up. come on up. >> hello, mr. president. on behalf of the american hotel and lodging association i am honored to be here today. we represent 30 thousand members around the country in an industry that represents more than 2 million hotel workers. i am here to tell you that the

american dream is alive and well in the hotel industry today. [applause] it is still one of the few places where you can have and grow your career, starting a job as a housekeeper or a dishwasher or a bellhop to running a hotel, owning a hotel or a few or to becoming a ceo of a global brand or president of the united states. mr. president, in 2017 the tax bill that you championed cut taxes for so many working families, american workers. it helps small businesses, hotel owners in our country to make up the majority of the industry, reinvest in the economy, spurring jobs and growing and

strengthening the economy. the no tax on tips builds on that momentum. we are proud to support you in this effort. we stand with you to urge congress to pass this proposal so that more than the 800,000 hotel workers who benefit from these tips, many who are here in the room today, representing all types of jobs from restaurant workers to housekeepers to bellhop's and so many others, can take home more of the pay that they earned every day. thank you for having us and for promoting this. [applause] >> thank you very much, jessica. after four long years and these are long years that the government always put you last.

they put america last. they put you last. they put everybody last. you once again have a president who is putting workers and families first and putting america first. we will keep america first and you see it. [applause] we are restoring our prosperity. we are restoring our borders. we are restoring our strength, our dignity and pride. we have been hurt badly by this group of people. they did not have a clue what was happening. it was so disgraceful but they were about to do. honestly we are restoring our country. within hours of taking the oath of office i declared a national emergency on our southern border. i sent active-duty troops to the border to help repel the invasion. you know that. what a great job. we immediately halted all illegal entry and began sending

every border trespasser and violator back to the places from which they came. [applause] i signed an order that will designate the cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. it is a big deal. biden did not want to do that. biden did not know he was alive. he did not want to do it. i always wanted to do it. is that a terrorist organization or what? we began to leverage the immense power of federal government and state government and enforcement to eliminate the presence of all foreign gangs and criminal networks bringing devastating crime to american soil and we do not allow people to enter our country and to dump their presence into the united states of america anymore. our people are instructed to do

whatever they have to do. throughout this week the heroes of ice have been hunting down and arresting hundreds of illegal aliens. [applause] and the immediate expulsion including those with charges and convictions for rape, child sexual assault, terrorism and even murder. members of the savage venezuelan prison gang, you know that gang. this is not a nice group of people. they formed in prison and they dumped their prisons into our country so we had them all over the place. ask the governor of colorado. he does not know what to do about it. they are all over the place. we will get them out. they are in the real estate business. they go into a building and then they take it. when you buy a building, you have to get a mortgage.

they just go into a building and take it. they actually said it is not that bad. they have not taken that many buildings. can you imagine that? they have not taken that many buildings. they are not that bad. but they are as bad as the bloodthirsty ms 13 gangs that we have gotten thousands and thousands of them out. we have tracked over 11,000 murderers who were released into our country by other countries all over the world because of biden's open border policy. when i heard about that, i said everybody has two empty their prisons into our country. if i were heading up any one of the many countries, not just south america, all over. they take their prisons and mental institutions and the empty in them -- empty them out into our country. can you imagine somebody doing that to a country? four american citizens, january 20, 2025 was truly liberation day. liberation.

this week i signed in order to end the weaponization of our government against the american people and political people like me. we never had anything like that. he went after his political opponent. who would have thought he helped me? i think you helped me get elected, joe. i am the only guy who ever became more popular when something like that happened. these guys were so inept. we had the deranged jack smith. they thought this way biden could sneak by and win an election. cheating in another election. we won. do you think that was easy? it was not. and investigate all of the abuses of power. i pardoned hundreds of political prisoners who had been

persecuted by the biden regime. people were persecuted including christians, pro-life activists. of course, the j six hostages. [applause] once and for all i stopped government censorship and we brought back free speech in america. we did more this last week. people cannot believe it. i also signed an order to declassify and publish all remaining files related to the assassinations of president john f. kennedy, ron f kenedy and martin luther king jr. i signed an order that will end all of the lawless diversity, equity and inclusion nonsense all across the government and the private sector.

we abolished 60 years of prejudice and hatred with the signing of one order all approved by the united states supreme court. we are allowed to do it because we are now in a merit-based world. we are a merit-based country. did you ever think you would hear that again? it is based on merit. if you have the talent, the work, the ethic, the whole thing is based on merit. it is based on your capability. the united states has again become a meritocracy. isn't that a beautiful word? based on merit. when you do your job well, you will go places. i made it the official policy of the u.s. government that there are only two genders. male and female. male and female.

every single day of my term we are living by the motto promises made, promises kept. i kept my promise is. -- promises. it is why we won. this is going to blow it away. when i came in i had no experience. i never did this. i was never a politician before. i was talking to jd vance. hasn't he done a great job? [applause] jd went to the senate and then to the vice presidency. i said, you are upwardly mobile. he said, you more than me. i said, why do you say that? he said you went from being a real estate developer to the president. i never thought of it that way. i am the most upwardly mobile politician in history. i did not make any stops along the way.

it would be the greatest honor of my life to serve not once, but twice, or three or four times. [applause] headlines for the fake news. to serve twice. for the next four years i will not rest, i will not yield and together we will not fail. we will win, win, win. we will bring back the american dream. in recent years our nation has suffered greatly but we are going to make it great again, greater than ever before. it will be a nation like no other, full of compassion and exceptionalism. that is what it is all about. i think you have seen it more the last week than you have seen in years. i walked up the stairs of that massive plane waiting for me,

that 747 and i said there is no way i will let myself fall. that triple fall was a disaster. i would call that a political disaster. you can follow once. -- you can fall once. you can fall twice. you cannot fall three times. our power will stop all wars and bring a spirit of unity to a world that has been angry, violent and very unpredictable. america will be respected again and admired again including by the people of religion, faith and goodwill. we are bringing back religion in this country. we will be prosperous. we will be free. we will be bigger and more ambitious than ever before.
