most epic, consequential political victory in american history, according to a lot, they said it's the most consequential election victory in the last 129 years. what was there 120 nine years ago? but it was a great one. at the presidential level, we won the popular vote for the first time for any republican in decades. we swept all seven swing states, pennsylvania, wisconsin, georgia, north carolina, arizona , michigan, and nevada by large margins. for the first time ever, all 50 states shifted toward the republican party. we have never had that before. nobody has. it has never happened before. you must be doing a good job, fellas. we won the largest number of

african-american voters in republican history, including 39% of black men, a record by a lot. that's really nice. thank you. and we won more hispanic votes than any republican ever. look at that, hispanic america. we meet historic strides with youth, men, women, urban, suburban, and rural voters. y'all sit down. enjoy it. we are going to be here for a little while. in a political earthquake, we won a wave of support from labor unions, including auto workers, which gave us michigan easily. we did tremendous with the autoworkers. an overwhelming majority of the rank-and-file membership of the teamsters showed up in droves and we won them by a lot. together we are forging a new political majority shattering and replacing franklin roosevelt's new deal coalition
8:43 pm
which dominated american politics for over 100 years. that's what we are doing. what mike said before, common sense. it is a little bit of common sense, maybe a lot. under our leadership, the republican party has become the proud voice of hard-working american citizens of every race, religion, color, and creed. we have become the party of the american dream, wealth creation for everyone, not just the rich, and we do our job over the next 21 months, not only will house republicans be reelected and expand our majority in 2026, we will see meant a national -- cement a national governing coalition that will preserve freedom for decades to come. there has never been anything like what has happened in politics in the last few years. has the rights to it, and it happens to be a great republican. i said this was the greatest adventure. it's going to make a fortune. he said no, it's not that good because it only works for you. i am honored to have that privilege. i use it carefully, but we have done a love of the tele-town halls for people, and i don't think we've ever lost one. it is hard to lose one. even if you only get 5000 or 6000 people, but we've done it for states, for governors, and for senators, and we did a couple countrywide. i did a couple for myself countrywide. they are absolutely amazing. we got the message out through that and lots of other means. we even got it out through tiktok. i have a bias toward tiktok. we won youth by the largest margin -- we generally don't win youth. we won by 36 points. can you imagine that? i think tiktok had something to do with that. i did i have become jaded about

did not, china did not, other countries did not. we were going to lose a trillion dollars over a short time, and we had to do everything, they did not have to do anything. and i canceled the insane and very costly electric vehicle mandate, so you can buy a car of your choice. if you like gasoline, cohabit, and if you like hybrids -- hybrids are doing well. you can have it. or by an electric car. we like everything, but you have to have a right to buy everything. i withdrew from the world health organization where we paid $500 million a year and china paid just to be $9 million a year despite a much larger population -- just $39 million a year despite a much larger population. they have 1.4 billion people. nobody knows what we have. so many people came across the border that nobody has any idea. i used to say 325 million, but
8:50 pm
we don't really know. we are going to know soon. tom homan and his staff are doing an incredible job getting the bad ones out. i declared a national energy emergency to unlock the liquid gold right under our feet, because we will drill, baby, drill. if we drill, baby, drill, it's going to bring your energy costs way down. that will happen relatively quickly. i am going to give fast environmental approval for anybody building a plant for electric generation and anybody that invests more than $1 billion will get super rapid approval, not that they have to wait for nine years, 14 years. i approved lng plants in louisiana. they had waited for so many years. it was not the louisiana's fault. people just would not get them done. if got a snail here, a tiny tree here, and i got it done in a matter of a few days.
8:51 pm
it took them 14 years, i got it done in about three days. i will never forget i called them and said congratulations, you have met your permit. what? they were so shellshocked they did not know what the hell was happening. they spent about $16 billion and they have been roaring since then. but they got them done in a matter of a few days. over the past week, we have begun the largest deregulation campaign in history, far exceeding even the record-setting efforts, record-setting deregulation. it was just as big as task outs -- as tax cuts as far as businesses and jobs are concerned. it's interesting because i actually have some of the biggest businessmen in the country, i said, if you had a choice between the big tax cuts -- we cut it from 40% to 21%. everybody said that would be impossible. people on the stage helped us with that one a lot. but i said if you have your
8:52 pm
choice of that or the big deregulation cuts, what would you take? these are the guys who run the big companies, the big oil companies, the big companies of every kind, you say -- i said would you take the big tax cut were the cut in regulations? i have never had anybody say they would take the tax cut. they took the regulation cut. i think i asked that question 100 times to 100 of the biggest people. they always said sure, we will take you regulation cut. you opened us up, let us create all these jobs. it was even bigger than the big tax cut. i also signed an order to end the weaponization of our government against the american people and investigate all abuses of power. [applause] and i stopped government censorship once and for all and brought back free speech to america. we did not have free speech. we did not have free speech.
8:53 pm
i was investigated more than any human being in history. alfonse capone was a baby. this was a serious killer. you've all heard of scarface. he had a scarf for a reason. he did not play games, but he was scarface. of course, nobody called him scarface to his face. he said al, you look great to get a -- great today. the guy had a scar that was like, two inches thick that ran from here to here. they said "al, you look fantastic." but scarface was not investigated as much as her president, and it turned out to be positive for me. can you believe it? i thing we got a lot of votes because they saw it was weaponization, if i to can stay political opponent. i ordered the end -- a fight against a political opponent. i ordered the end of diversity, equity, and inclusion policies across the government, all across the private sector and the military. we have gotten it out.
8:54 pm
we did that in one week. it was not that easy, but everybody wanted it. people that were strongly in favor of it i thought called me and said thank god you got rid of it, that was so bad. it was so bad. we hated it. we abolished 60 years of prejudice and hatred with the signing of one order, all approved by the supreme court. it was a big thing. the united states has become a meritocracy again. we are a country that is based now on merit for success. merit. if you are good at what you do, you are going to go places. who would have thought that was going to happen? we did not even talk about that, because i figured that was going to be toughest to get. now, if you do a meritorious job, if you do something where you have done -- you are just outstanding, you advance. that is what it is about. it is about competition and a lot of things.
8:55 pm
the other becomes a very dangerous plateau. we were on that plateau too long. that was one of the reasons he saw a very bad things happening with our country. it was the official policy of the united states government -- we made it the official policy of the united states government that there are only two genders, male and female. geez, that was a tough one. some of these people say like, seven genders. i say go and name them. they've got weird stuff going on. no, there's two genders. i renamed the gulf of mexico the gulf of america, and we are restoring the name of a great president, william mckinley, to mount mckinley in alaska, in honor of the incredible people of the state of ohio, who loved their governor and the man who became president. he was the big tariff sheriff, they used to call him. maybe a lot of money. our country became very rich,
8:56 pm
and when he was assassinated, tell you roosevelt became president and spent all that money from tariffs. they built the thing called the panama canal. it has become a hot subject because china essentially has taken it over, and we are not going to let that happen. [applause] it was the biggest investment to this day ever made by the country. in other words, if you bring it up to modern-day numbers, we spend money that we have never spent anything so much. 38,000 people died building the panama canal 110 years ago. and they gave it away for one dollar. it is also one of the most profitable things ever built. ships are lined up back to florida, trying to get through. we are not going to let that happen. it was not the deal. we did not give it to china, we gave it to panama, sort of, but they have not behaved properly. most importantly, i declared a national emergency to stop the
8:57 pm
invasion of our southern. we have stopped that invasion. [applause] today in tijuana, i got a call from tom homan and some of the people, they said, sir, it is unbelievable, you have this huge gathering area, always packed with these people. what they did to our country is so unbelievable. they could do this to our country is so horrible. but he said there's nobody there. they put it on television and there was literally not one person in this vast area where people stayed all day long, but just walked right into our country. just unchecked, no way, no check-in. like voter id. they don't one voter id because they want to cheat. they wanted these people to come in because they want to cheat. there was not one person standing in this area that was like, five football fields,
8:58 pm
packed for years under these horrible people that wanted to kill our country. we halted all illegal entry. you have successfully ended catch and release, and we are departing 100% of all new trespassers apprehended at the border. nobody is coming in now because they know they are not going to be able to. we really stop something that was very serious. but we have to get the bad ones out. we have many murderers, very bad people in our country that they have allowed because of a ridiculous, stupid open order policy. i also deployed troops to the border, and for the first time in history, we are locating and loading illegal aliens into military aircraft and flying them back to the places from which they came. [applause] and very importantly, america is respected again. we are respected again. isn't that nice? after years of laughing at us like we are stupid people. and as you saw yesterday, we
8:59 pm
have made it clear to every country that they will be taking back our people that we are sending out, the criminals, the illegal aliens coming from their countries. we are taking the back, and they are coming to take them back fast, and if they don't, they will pay a high price. we are going to immediately install massive tariffs. and other sanctions. but the tariffs, i told you, the most beautiful word in the dictionary. i said that the first time and got absolutely decimated. i said it is the most beautiful word, and they said what about religion, but about god, what about love? i now say it is my fourth most favorite word in the dictionary. god, love, all these other things, but i say number four -- god, love, religion, tariff, fourth. [laughter] another couple of weeks, it will be like, 10.
9:00 pm
hopefully it will stay in the top 10. with the fake news went after me because i did not say the first three, and other i immediately say it, i am sure they are going to find some others. throughout the week, the heroes of ice have been hunting down and arresting hundreds of illegal alien criminals per day, including those with charges and convictions for rape, child sexual assault, terrorism, and even. -- even murder. many murderers in the crowd, and many have committed are more than one murder -- far more than one murder. this is not going to work out, and we are going to get them out of here. the members of the savage villa -- savage venezuelan prison gang known as train day agua -- tren de agua, and ms 13, rounded up in aurora, colorado, which the venezuelan gang took over. the governor did not know what
9:01 pm
to do. he said it's not that bad, they have only taken over a couple of apartment houses. went into the real estate business, unconventionally, with guns. we have to go out and borrowing use cash to buy. he said no, it's not that bad, they only took over a couple of buildings. we are tracking down the illegal alien criminals, detaining them and throwing them out of our country. they have no apologies. they are very dangerous people. they are violent people. i used the say these are more violent than are criminals. the best part of them as they look -- is they make our criminals look quite nice by comparison. we also have many violent criminals in our country, however, that did not necessarily come here illegally, but have been arrested 30 times, 35 times, 42 times in a couple of cases. 25 times, 18 times. many for murder, other heinous
9:02 pm
charges such as pushing people into subways. as the train is coming along at 45 miles forever, boom, you get pushed into the subway. they had it last week. hitting them in the head with baseball bats while they are not looking. punching old ladies in the face, knocking them unconscious and stealing their purse. they even break into apartments and rape elderly women and beat up elderly men to hell. i don't want these violent repeat offenders in our country anymore. i want to illegal aliens from other countries who misbehave. [applause] i will say, and this is subject to getting it approved, but if they have been arrested many times, they have been repeat offenders by many numbers, i want them out of our country. i also will be seeking permission to do so. we will get approval, hopefully, to get them out of our country along with others. let them be brought to a foreign land and maintained by others for a very small fee as opposed
9:03 pm
to being maintained in our jails for massive amounts of money, and tooting the private prison companies -- including the private prison companies that charge a fortune. let's see how they like it. you will see crime all over the country drawing up essentially. that is what venezuela and other countries are doing, getting rid of their criminals and putting them into the united states. and their crime is down by almost 80%. we are going to restore law in america, and we want to bring back the death penalty for these horrible people that kill people . they kill people. it is always a tough thing to say because i don't like it. nobody likes it. but if you don't do it, we are just looking for trouble. i spent a lot of time with president xi. in her first meeting, i sent you have a drug problem. no, we don't. why is that? quick trial.
9:04 pm
we try to piece the person who sells the drugs immediately, and at the end of the day we execute that person if that person is guilty. we have no drug problem whatsoever. and that is the most severe case. but wherever you have no drug problem, you have the death penalty. drugs causes -- a lot of the crime in our country is caused by drugs. it is a terrible situation. it comes through the southern border, most of it fentanyl coming from china. it is very interesting. china, when i was with president xi, i had a deal worked out where they were going to give their maximum punishment, the death penalty, to anybody making fentanyl and sending it into the united states. we had a very unusual result in our election. we had a rigged election, a very unusual result. that went nowhere. he would have absolutely done it. we shook hands on it. and then bite and, of course,
9:05 pm
did not follow anything up. if that would have happened, you would have had a lot less fentanyl deaths. you would have had very little fentanyl coming into the southern border. last week i also signed an order that would designate the cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. that is a very big designation. and as we are fighting hard to get birthright citizenship or automatic citizenship for children of illegal aliens, that's the other term they use, which is more accurate. we are the only country that has it to that extent. it was really meant for children of slaves. it was not meant for everyone to come into our country by airplane or charging across the borders from all over the world and think they are going to
9:06 pm
become citizens. hopefully the courts will understand that without having to go through a big deal. look at the timing of it and you will see and i hope judges will understand that. and has to stop because it is hurting our country badly. i'm looking forward to working with congress on a reconciliation bill that takes care of our plans to totally and permanently restore the sovereign borders of the united states once and for all. this should include full funding for a record increase in border security personnel and retention bonuses for ice and border control. i was on the phone with them all the time when i was president. we went four years and they started asking her did you ever speak to him? the head of the border patrol,
9:07 pm
did you ever speak to the vice president? they said no. we did 500 miles of wall. that's one of the reasons we had the lowest number. remember the famous chart? i don't know if they have it now. but they are competent. if you have the chart, put it out. it showed we had the lowest number of illegals coming into our country in history and i loved the chart. i would not being here now without that chart. it was pretty amazing.
9:08 pm
we did a great job. the week i left office we had the lowest number of illegal immigrants coming into the country we ever had. we must make a record investment in interior enforcement, including deportation, and funding for our new task force. we have some of the worst foreign gangs. it's unbelievable. and criminal networks that have brought devastating crime. we are getting them out. so people explain it very well. they look at the people. in colombia, the agreed almost immediately. we have a great group of people. we were being scolded because we had them in shackles in an airplane and he said this is no
9:09 pm
way to treat people. you understand these are murderers, drug lords, gang members, the toughest people you have government or seen. how would you like to be the pilot? all of them either a murderer, a drug lord, a kingpin of some kind, or a gang member, and you are flying that plane. it's not going to end well. ever see the movie con air? the difference is those were actors. i would say the plane would be gone --the pilots will be gone before they left. i want to think every republican house member for voting to pass the laiken riley act, the first enforcement only bill that's been passed in three decades.
9:10 pm
i met the parents and they are incredible people. they were devastated. i cannot even explain to you. their life is so different and it can never be the same. she was a great person. to have a bill of such importance named after her is a tribute. these parents and you have so many of them where they have lost a loved one to crime, to this new form of crime, criminal illegal aliens, it's massive. the numbers are massive and you add that to the crime we already have. this shows the potential for additional enforcement bills that well this crackdown and restore the rule of law in our country. also working on a package of tax cuts and reforms. we are going to get that done.
9:11 pm
and we don't want to get hung up on the budget process. whether it's one bill, two bills, i don't care. they are going to work it out one day or the other but the end result will be the same. we will have those benefits and we want to keep people's taxes lowthem lower. that's everybody. it is proportionately the lower scale much more than the higher skill. not only must we permanently extend the trump tax cuts --if we don't, you will have a 60% tax increase, but i also intend to keep my promise of no tax on tips, social security and overtime. we are working hard to get them done. i went to nevada, started in north carolina, because i don't want to forget.
9:12 pm
they were treated badly by fema. they came to me and said you are going to california tomorrow. i said, what about north carolina? we are stopping their first. we met great people. others have done a great job. the democrat party with fema, there fema, did nothing. your congressmen are helping very much. congress people are working hard on that along with michael whatley and laura trump wants to be involved too. michael and laura have been unbelievable. they have been unbelievable. [applause] unbelievable. you know why i picked michael? because in the 2016 election, we
9:13 pm
did so well in then in 2020 we did great in north carolina. what is going on? with north carolina it went here. six hundred one lawyers working for them and they didn't play games in north carolina. michael whatley has done an unbelievable job and he worked with laura so well. she comes from that state. they have done an incredible job so thank you. incredible. we will give you plenty of money to get the job done. he could do anything. he's a talented person. there's nothing more important
9:14 pm
because we have to win in two and four years. thank you, michael. incredible. [applause] really amazing. i wanted to save that for leadership because i say it all the time but leadership knows what i'm talking about and it's incredible. the two of you as a team, unbelievable. our administration will also be working to implement the make it in america plan. i focused on the border more than anything else. a lot of people said the biggest thing was inflation and the economy and maybe the border was third. i thought it was first because i thought people could understand you cannot have people pouring in from all over the world. so i talked about that much more so than i did inflation. inflation was terrible.
9:15 pm
i think it was the worst in the history of our country. you can only talk about it so long. the price of apples doubled. everything is a disaster. what do you do? i can give examples. in 2016, i region on the border. in 2020, i couldn't talk about it. it was horrible and 2016 but that border was beautiful compared to what we have now. so i didn't talk about it. i got millions of more votes in 2020 than in 2016. i got the most votes of any republican in history and 2020 that in 2020. this time i made it too big to rig.
9:16 pm
they tried but they gave up. i broad taxes down from 40 percent to 21%, which everyone said was impossible. as a group and individually, they are incredible. everyone of them i like although sometimes they vote against me and i don't but we like them. this guy has the ability to get along with everybody, which he has to when you have a majority of five. right now it's one.
9:17 pm
he has an ability to get along with people and he is smart and tough. everyone likes him because he's a high-quality person. [applause] we have other guys here. i know everyone likes them. i love this guy so much. i won't name him. he's very strong and popular. he has 36 people that will not vote for him. that's a strong -- that's a small percentage. tom is incredible. it's a little tougher but he's done an unbelievable job and i had become friendly with him. i did not really know him and over the last year he's become friendly.
9:18 pm
they all love him. your wife loves you. where are you? stand up please. [applause] what a great wife and family. it's true. thank you. look at her. she's very popular. she's great. more than you and you are very popular. i am bringing the taxes down from 21% to 15% but only if they make their product in america. we took it down from 40% to 15%. 21% to 15%. we are going to have somebody business is moving back into our country. remember the word tariff. we are going to protect our people and businesses and country with tariffs.
9:19 pm
you got education on that yesterday with what happened with colombia, traditionally a strong-willed country. if they don't make their product in america than very simply they should have to pay tariffs, which will bring in trillions of dollars to the country. we will not let them destroy our country. in the words of president mckinley, who is the tariff king, the tariff system invokes the highest law of nature. there's every system -- a foreign producer whose products compete with his. this is our natural market. we have made it. and think of this. we did that through exertion and brain and muscle and guts and stamina.
9:20 pm
we preserved it against foreign wars and conflicts. the foreign producer has contributed nothing to the growth or development of this country, so if you want to share with the citizens of the united states our whole market, you must pay for the privilege of doing it. in other words, you have to pay for the privilege of coming into our country, taking our jobs, destroying our country. we mentioned the furniture business, what they have done to these great artisans. i used to go to north carolina for furniture. the whole thing was wiped out by china mostly but others. just wiped out but it's going to come back. it's all going to come back. we will put tariffs on outside countries and people that mean us harm. they basically want to make their country good.
9:21 pm
china has tremendous tariffs and india and brazil and so many countries and we are not going to let that happen any longer because we will put america first. we are going to establish a very fair system where money will come into our conference and america will be very rich again and it will happen quickly. it's time for the united states to return to the system that made us richer and more powerful. from 1870 to 1913, all tariffs, and that was the richest period in the united states relatively speaking. they set up the great tariff commission of 1887. this had one function, what to
9:22 pm
do with all the money we took in. it was so enormous they had no idea. it was a blue-ribbon committee set up in 1887 for what to do with the money we had. teddy roosevelt was a beneficiary because when mckinley was killed, he took over this vast sum of money and did all those national parks and all the other things. i am not knocking him but he was given a vast amount of money made through tariffs. the income tax came in in 1913. instead of taxing our citizens to enrich foreign nations we should be tariffing and taxing foreign nations to enrich our citizens. does that make sense? under the america first economic models, tariffs on other countries go up. taxes on workers and businesses will come down.
9:23 pm
the job creation will be enormous. we are being wiped out in the automobile sector. look at what's happened to that over the years. the autoworkers voted for me. i have an obligation to do what is right. in mexico they are going to build the largest auto plant in the world. it was during my campaign. and a great gentleman who builds auto plants was building this factory and i said how is it going? i want to take a look at one of your factories you are building. one of the good ones. are you ready? this was eight months ago. i said you will have to go to mexico. what about the u.s.? he said we are putting up a couple but they are small. in mexico they are building massive automobile factories. i said you mean they are doing it? who is the owner?
9:24 pm
he said mostly china. one in particular is massive. so they are going to build cars and send them into the u.s. for no tax or little tax and destroy what's left of detroit. mexico has taken 32% of business over 30 years. the other is canada. they send us millions of cars. we don't need them for that. but i said to him when is this going to open? a couple months. it will be open in about 1.5 years. i said i am not happy with that and i said in my next speech that i'm going to charge them. no cars coming in from mexico into the united states without a massive tariff.
9:25 pm
i said it three or four times and what happened is about two months later i saw the same gentleman in the audience and i said i want to see you backstage. i said let me ask you what happened with that plant? where is it now? he said china has canceled it. why? because they think you are going to be elected in charge tariffs on the cars coming in and it doesn't work. so they canceled the plant in detroit will breathe and we are going to do the opposite. companies can build or plant if they want but they have to build it in the united states. amazing. [applause] we did so many things and we were not even elected yet. that would have been a disaster. that was bigger than most of the factories put together, the auto plants put together.
9:26 pm
in the near future, we will be placing tariffs on foreign production of computer chips, semiconductors and pharmaceuticals to return production of these goods to the united states. they left us and went to taiwan, which is about 90% of the chip business, and we want them to come back, and we don't want to give them billions of dollars like this ridiculous program biden has. they already have billions. they have nothing but money. they needed an incentive and it will be they will not want to pay a tax. they will build a factory with their own money. they will come in because it's good for them. they don't even know what they are going to do with it. they didn't need money. they probably will use the money to build. it's ridiculous.
9:27 pm
if you want to build the taxes you have to build in america. that will happen at record levels. we will have more plants built in the next short period of time than ever before because the -- the incentive will be there. they have help from us if they build their plant in america and we will look at pharmaceuticals, semiconductors and steel and other industries and you will see things happening. if i did not put on the massive steel tariffs, on washing machines, dryers and the like, you would have lost all those companies that made washing machines. jim jordan got me started. is he here by any chance? where is jim? look at him. wow.
9:28 pm
that's not a great seat for a man of such power. he's a great wrestler. he was an all-american wrestler three times. 128-1. not a bad record. undefeated as a wrestler in high school. how can you do that because a freshman cannot beat a senior? but he figured out how to be seniors. let's give him a hand as a wrestler. as a wrestler, bighand. as a politician, very good. is it true that we went out there, we had 25,000 people on the streets in this town with whirlpool, and they were going to close up their factories because south korea was dumping washing machines and other things like that. we put a 50% tariff, 75%, even 100%, and now they are thriving. without trump, they would have
9:29 pm
been closed up. are you happy with jim? we like jim. when -- what's not to like? he's like this. very impressive. good to see you. i like that guy a lot. i like a lot of the people in the audience and in this room. we have the same thoughts. what's not to like? i will also be paying -- placing tariffs on steel, aluminum and copper. we have to bring production back to our country. there's a time where we made one ship a day and now we cannot build a ship. itself gone to other locations -- it's all gone to other lands. we will environmentally free up our rare earth minerals. we have some unbelievable sites. we have some of the best rare earth anywhere in the world but we are not allowed to use it
9:30 pm
because the environmentalists got their first. look at the land it looks like any other piece of land. they have no idea what they are doing. they use the environment to stop progress and we are not letting that happen. lee zelden is going to be fantastic. i said if we put in for a power plant and don't get the approval that you could start with in 12 days, one would be better, but see what you can do. lee knows what is good and bad and he will be very fair. some of these jobs, 14, 15 years they could not get approvals. when people come with massive amounts of money, they want to start. we know it is good and bad and he will do a great job. we could also cut colossal
9:31 pm
amounts of government waste, fraud and abuse. tonight i restate my pledge that i will not sign any bill that cuts a penny for medicare or social security for a great seniors. we don't have to do that. we will not touch those benefits. during the campaign, they had these fake ads. the country is going to go bankrupt. they are not going to have a choice. our country was heading for absolute bankruptcy. i also look forward to working with you to working with you to make our energy policies permanent and our historic deregulation efforts a fixture of law so no future president, like they did with anwr. this the largest site potentially in the world -- it
9:32 pm
is the largest site in the world potentially. i got it done. nobody could get it done. they tried but couldn't. the first thing they did was end anwr in alaska. we got it done and we will do it again quickly now. i think i would do it -- i think i did it. that can supply all of asia with its location. all of asia could be supplied by anwr. out-of-control regulations, as the last two democrat presidents have done. i signed an order revoking joe biden's artificial intelligence regulations so ai companies can focus on being the best, not just the most woke. i have been reading about china
9:33 pm
and some of the companies in china, one of them coming up with a faster method of ai and less expensive, and that's good. i view that as a positive. if it is fact and it is true, and nobody knows, but i few that as a positive. you won't be spending as much and get the same result hopefully. the release of deep-sea k.i.a. from a chinese company should be a wake-up call that we need to be laser focused on computing to win because we have the greatest scientists in the world. the chinese leadership told me that. they said you have the most brilliant scientists in the world in seattle in various places, silicon valley. this is unusual. when you hear deep seek. we always have the ideas. i would say that is a positive.
9:34 pm
it could be a positive development. instead of spending billions you will spend less and hopefully come up with the same solution. we are going to unleash our tech companies and dominate the future like never before and finally we need to work together on a defense bill that fully rebuilds our military. we have to have a strong defense. and in a little while i will be signing new executive orders. i am directing howard secretary of defense. thank you for the support. he will be fantastic. he is what we need. to begin the construction of a defensive shield to protect americans.
9:35 pm
we protect other countries but not ourselves. when ronald reagan wanted to do it many years ago, we didn't have the technology but now we do, phenomenal technology. you see that with israel where out of 319 rockets they knocked out just about every one of them. and everything will be made in the usa. [applause] next, to ensure that we have the most lethal fighting force in the world, we will get transgender ideology out of our military. in addition, we will stop our service members from being indoctrinated with radical left ideology such as critical race theory. it's already been halted. we will offer full reinstatement to any servicemember expelled from the armed forces due to the covid vaccine mandate and
9:36 pm
restore them to their former rank with full pay. i think we will have a lot of people that join. if you looked at our recruitment over the last week or so, it is through the roof. a lot of people were not signing and we were having a hard time recruiting people. they didn't like people falling upstairs. the triple fall. i didn't have an ad where i did not put that in. they reminded me of george fraser when he went down. george foreman? joe frazier? we have the best recruitment we have seen in a long time. a tremendous number of people wanting to sign up. january 2025 was a turning point
9:37 pm
in american history. starting last week, we are ending years of incompetence, radicalism and betrayal and ushering in the most exhilarating era of reform and renewal in the history of our country. in conclusion, i just want to say that this is been a very exciting. there's nothing we cannot achieve as long as we remain united. i hope you can remember that. [applause] and it's one thing i give the democrats a lot of credit for because they have lousy policy. half of them are totally crazy but they stick together. they stick together on stuff that nobody can -- how can you went prisons emptied out into our country? they stick together on everything. impeachment hopes number one in two. they stick together.
9:38 pm
you gave me great support during those two problems, those two fake witchhunts that have turned out to be totally fake and disgusting. the republican party has to stick together. we cannot have people going. we don't have the luxury. it would be different if we had a 30 person majority but we do not. we have to help leadership. you can be assured that you have certain philosophies but if you are going have most of the people voting for something, you are going to be ok. it's not going to be bad. you have to stick together. everything is so hard. we always have two or three or five people that don't want to do it. and you just have to do it. make like -- make life easy. you just have to do it. [applause]
9:39 pm
we have a special period because we have the house, we have the senate and the white house. we are a team and we are a good team and i appreciate so many times -- i called three or four people and they said i will vote positively and they are happy they did now. we have gotten such a great response. we had that happen with pete hegseth and with others. we appreciate it with the house. it's a difficult situation when you have that small a majority, but in a way, brings you together and can unify more than anybody would know and a victory is sweeter because of it and i think we will have a lot of victories but we have to stick together, work together and fight together and win together. we have a chance to win like never before. as long as we stay united, the
9:40 pm
119th congress will be remembered as the most successful and accomplished republican majority in american history. i believe that and i believe we have a chance to do it. in january 2027, we will have a larger republican house and senate and our country will be richer, safer, stronger, prouder, greater and freer than ever before. i think we will have some big victories coming up and i will be helping every single one of you. i'm raising a lot of money and i want to use it for the house and senate. we have raised a lot of money. i told my people we raised $1.7 billion and they raised $2.6 billion. with the unions it's difficult. and we won and won by a lot and they wanted to go out and still have not raised $20 million.
9:41 pm
they cannot raise $.10. it's good to win but they cannot raise money but i told my people, normally, because we have so many donors, a lot of great friends of mine, but i told my people, meredith and susie. by the way, how good is susie? she is great. stand up, susie. the ice maiden, ladies and gentlemen. [applause] wow. look at that. the most powerful woman in the world they say. she's made a vice -- she is made of ice. when i came to florida, florida was a democratic state with the democratic governor. they had one democrat senator.
9:42 pm
it was largely a democrat state and through various reasons i ended up with susie running the campaign and she was unbelievable. we won in a landslide twice. when it came time to run the campaign i said what about susie? she never lost. again it was a democrat state and it was a landslide. and all the republican stuff almost like it didn't exist it was amazing and i said what about susie and they said a woman has never been in this position before and i said really and by the way we have alien calmly and she didn't do too badly either, right? she did a great job. you know there's never been a woman chief of staff? but there is now. there is now.
9:43 pm
i didn't know that. i am surprised. i am very surprised. it came time to run the campaign and said i have never had a loss from susie. she came from great stock. her father was a great football player and announcer. he was great. and a leader. he worked with john madden and was able to get him to do things nobody else could do. they would call him and say john is difficult. he was a difficult guy but he was good. and he would go let's get this done. i know you don't like the heads of the company but let's get it done and he would go. but he was a leader. this is somebody that has the gene.
9:44 pm
she was so good with the campaign, i said let's let her do the campaign. it was flawless. we had her win a lot of votes. i hope you can go to voter id and same-day voting and paper ballots because ultimately we will never lose a race if we do. you will never lose a race. and that is sent to the governors mostly. susie ran the race and we did phenomenally. we made her the chief of staff and she is doing great. they say it was the greatest opening week in presidential history. it could be better. even cnn is saying this guy is amazing. i couldn't believe it. i said did cnn really say that? nobody watches so nobody was able to confirm. usually you get them by surprise.
9:45 pm
we are going to make this tremendously successful. i believe we will have one of the greatest four years in the history of our country and turn it around quickly and then we will progress like nobody ever thought possible. i want to thank these people because they are leaders and they are phenomenal people and i want to thank my friends in the audience, many of whom are congressmen and women and people that have tremendous talent. you have tremendous talent. if we stick and fight together there is nobody that can stop us. because they have bad policy. their policy is so bad. nobody could win with this policy. and we have the best policy and again as they say and we say and i have been saying we are the party of common sense and the party that will have the best four years ever. thank you very much. appreciate it. thank you very much. [applause]
