i've got three things all i could get from fall asleep my heart hurt because lowering prices is not the way the government should be acting. this seems critical to me because honestly we're going through a very serious crisis right now. i don't know what to do because i can't get any pace ics. the i've never seen the shelves like this there's little or you can see it juices cookies canned goods but otherwise nothing. like that. but even if shelves were stopped decently wages barely cover the cost of necessities every day offers fresh evidence of venezuela's bankruptcy with no foreign currency available to import food or any other basic products. no while some governments and asia are planning to bomb crypto currency the bitcoin

craze has now achieved pop culture status to pounds virtual currency goes for phone the first concert in tokyo today each member of the bankruptcy sends a different crypto currency such as the big coin if there were all ripple in keeping with the theme payments for the group's merchandise would only be accepted in virtual currency that did you song warns against fraudulent operators and urges people to make sure that all are secure. that's it from the business that we're going back to our top story your heart i have officially seen everything now it's thank you so much for bringing us that story we're heading back to berlin now where political leaders are reported to have reached a breakthrough in pre-columbian talks we are standing by to hear those leaders speaking at this hour chancellor angela merkel's conservatives and the social democrats led by martin chokes negotiated through the night to find the common ground needed to enter formal coalition talks now merkel and her conservatives have

been in exploratory talks with the shows for democrats since sunday for sure she's been having a caretaker government since the national election more than one hundred days ago. may go for me. and our political correspondent for peter viles is standing by with the very latest there outside the social democrats headquarters where the talks have been taking place and report why have we not heard these leaders speak at. well it was ex as far as we have heard this specially the social democrats seem to have some problems with the agreements that the party leaders had reached earlier this morning. these problems seem to have been resolved now the press conference is going to start within the next half hour we have heard and at least now the doors have opened to the press is allowed to go into the headquarters of the social democrats and to build up the commerce and everything so i'm quite optimistic that we're going to see the party leaders within the next time of ours the social

democrats who are having so many problems to accept this agreement well it's quite understandable what we have seen so far from the twenty eight pages that's how long the text is it all seems as if the conservative bloc of angela merkel mainly pushed through the their ideas on that the social democrats didn't really get through what they wanted and. some of them said well we pushed through at least sixty points sixty point from. election manifesto we can find it within these with these within this text but if we look at them precisely although the big issues on the side of anglo-american and or conservative block for instance taxation of the social democrats have called for higher taxes especially for the wealthy and the rich this is not in their. refugee policy the social democrats wanted to have a more liberal stance especially on the opportunity for refugees which are already

in the country to bring in their families this has been limited to a very small number of only twelve thousand people here so some of the main points the social democrats wanted to push through in this paper so the problems some of them haven't quite understandable and if that is indeed the case i mean it's going to be a very hard sell for the social democrats leader martin schultes i mean he has to sell this to his party doesn't it. absolutely and there's a party conference where he house to stand up for this and to put it in a picture martin who. was a hunter he went out to two hundred and he came back with a give you pick on how he's going to sell that to his party i'm not quite sure. remind us because i mean selling it to his party is only one of the next steps until we can see a viable coalition formed in the country just walk us through all the

technicalities. well first of all the party boards today have to decide whether they think this is a good agreement yes or no the social democrats already house decided that they were going to propose to the party conference to say yes to this agreement yes it would mean in the end to a formal coalition talks these over just only have been the talks in front of talks . then after the party conference of the social democrats would have voted in favor of these talks these are actual coalition troops could start they would take i guess some something between two or three weeks then after that all of a social democrats would have to decide whether they are in favor of the coalition agreement yes or no so it could take at least until easter until we see a new coalition government here in germany this is quite a long time and even then it is not sure that the social democrats would really

wrote in favor of this government not to say they'll sell to other parties the conservative bloc of i'm going to america's c.d.u. and see is you and especially the see as you could also. house the also house some obstacles in front of them they also thinking of calling the party convention on behalf to understand that these years you want to shop it's more conservative profile something which is not really going to help if they're going to go go into a government but the center left social democrats right and robert i know you have your back facing toward the door there so i just want to tell you when and what has been happening there behind you we've actually seen some some high profile politicians emerging already i believe i just talked to altmire actually coming out of the door there he has of course serving as chief of staff of the german chancellor and so i mean presumably maybe maybe the now has has been hit on this already if he is indeed exiting the building there robert just just walk us through

i mean the election was back in september what sort of timetable are we looking at here and until germany could could have a government. well it's already said it could it could take at least until easter until we see a new government because first the parties have to decide whether they want to enter a real coalition talks again these talks we have just which is during the last days were only preliminary talks or exploratory talks as we call them here so the talks in front of the talks and so after the parties have decided whether they want to and to these formal coalition talks it would take at least two or three weeks until the talks were finished then the result of this negotiations which again have to be approved by the parties the social democrats don't even. democrats want to hold membership every member of the social democrats then would have to decide whether

they are in favor yes or no on that it would take at least another and this process alone would take three to four five weeks we have seen that in two thousand and thirteen when the social democrats already hot some some sort of a policy referendum on by the twenty grand coalition yes or no and then it took five weeks to decide to do so so there's quite a lot of time still ahead of head of us until we are going to know for sure if we're going to have a grand coalition another grand coalition government yes or no but my view devolves with the very latest from our land where we are standing by waiting on party leaders to emerge from the doors there apparently they have reached a breakthrough and pray coalition talks were brought thank you so much for filling us in. you know what. i'm going to check now of some other news though because u.s. president donald trump is expected to decide today whether to re-impose sanctions on tehran if he does this would be in violation of the two thousand and fifteen
