well there isn't that much information about the crash at the moment particularly was it when it comes to the causes it seems that the airplane crashed just after it took off out of the idea of the airport and it was on the way to the city of or disk which is on the sort of southern tip of the euro's it seems that the airplane didn't get very far it crashed just south east of moscow and it seems that it flew out of the airplane and went off of the airport excuse me and went off the radar and actually crashed about six minutes after it had taken off so we don't really know what happened there there have been some media reports that perhaps the plane collided in the air with another vehicle perhaps even a helicopter there was some talk about it being a postal helicopter but the post service here has denied that it even has helicopters so it's all very much up in the air now about what happened what we do

know is that kremlin spokesman. has said that putin the president here has ordered there to be a special investigative commission opened and he also has offered his condolences to any potential victims of the crash. and is there anything else you can tell us about how the russians are reacting to what appears to be a big tragedy this sunday. well we know that the investigative committee has opened a criminal investigation into the crash already at the moment they're investigating it as what they call a violation of traffic safety rules which led to the accidental death of at least one person that's what they're looking into at the moment so what we can say from that is that the russian side clearly thinks it's an accident and clearly thinks
4:04 pm
that there has been there has been some victims we don't know we don't know at the moment how many ok looking at that footage it looks like a very serious incident indeed that's evolution or when reporting for us in moscow thank you a sex scandal is engulfing one of the world's best known charities oxfam a british newspaper reported that oxfam staff illegally hired prostitutes for sex parties while they were on a mission in haiti after the nation's deficit devastating earthquake in twenty ten of the times of london quoted sources saying that male charity workers through porters prostitutes or they were living in a guest house rented by oxfam to the british government to warn all charities that receive u.k. aid funding they need to tackle sexual misconduct among staff or the funding cut oxfam which is based in britain is denying claims of

a cover up over the alleged misconduct but he's ambassador to the u.k. says he doesn't believe that it is. it's a corrupt is. the fact that those folks look to the leave the country you know in the punishment even informing really of a haitian authorities about what it was a cold war and now decided that they did such a crime. there was such a close now we are wondering what many of those cases are still being hope in the city we don't know. well that was the ambassador from haiti to the u.k. i'm joined now in the studio by dr your own kalinski he's the head of advocacy and campaigns for oxfam germany i want to give you a chance to respond to these allegations that we just heard from the haitian ambassador did oxfam cover up this behavior i think our colleague from oxfam you kate. over in haiti at that time in two thousand and eleven didn't come up see the

sea became. the geishas. report to the management inside the start that an investigation internal investigation and they put out a press release on august fifth. two thousand and eleven and seeing that they are undergoing this investigation in four weeks later on september the fifth issue the nasa press statement. toward the public versus finding what the thought was the finding of those investigations. some covered up don't think oxfam covered up but you don't deny that this happened that oxfam workers were hiring process here is horrible and i'm personally very kind of angry and frustrated that this happens because such a very very bad misbehavior of a few puts the whole organization is in disrepute and what else on that tonight we gave broad. safe drinking water to hundreds of thousands of people and after the earthquake in port au prince and then the break broke supported one point two
4:07 pm
million people in haiti so it was great stuff great drug in such a such misbehavior of a few is outrageous and that's completely that misses it's completely you can see everything what some stands for isn't just misbehavior of a few because today allegations have come out very similar allegations regarding prostitutes in chad or oxfam was also active does oxfam have a cultural problem where hiring prostitutes is considered ok on field appointments because of. your and your and your mission so it's completely against of values and our code of conduct i think though that you took the incident very seriously in two thousand and v. improved of procedures and safeguarding measures put in place it did it did it safeguarding teen put in place. and is today as of today of people safeguarding measures as the best practice in the sector so i think of course there was
4:08 pm
a problem and they're still problems i don't deny that but i think the whole sector has to deal with it and transparency is the first step raising awareness creating a venice and then kind of doing the right steps to make sure or to try to prevent such. things happened in the future oxfam receives taxpayer funding from the british government also receives donations what do you say to viewers who are watching this thinking why should i give any money to oxfam i mean there was no fraud involved in two thousand and eleven then when these things have been kind of spent all the money it's got from the government from private donors from the un from the european union spent the money to help people and now he said sure and you can assure people and i think of some as a great organization i mean i think it's awesome for twenty five years now and i'm personally very deeply in i mean i'm very angry about this and i do my very best at what i could with the adults in germany to make sure these things will not happen again we do appreciate you coming in and facing these allegations on behalf of your
