story of a young man who's fleeing the nazi occupation who finds himself in the city of moore say awaiting passage on a ship that will take you to safety unfortunately things get a little mixed up in the city of marsay and what's really interesting about this film is that it's not set in the historical city of marjah say but in modern day france and more and i have to tell you the effect. watching this film about persecution set in modern day is completely jarring and really really powerful christian petzold if you don't know who directed the film barbara which international audiences might be familiar with but he's a home grown talent it's his fourth film here at the berlin film festival and it's early days but i think this is one to watch when it comes to the golden bear all right it's also been a big day for some european heavyweights what can you tell us about that. yeah that's right so we also saw a french film premiered today it's called eva it stars isabelle pear the iconic
