a michelin star since twenty fourteen. he was born in communist east berlin in one thousand nine hundred one after leaving school he trained as a chef. he then went on to work in husam in northern germany. has remained his great love he clearly recalls the fall of the berlin wall in one nine hundred eighty nine. i was about seven when the wall fell the best thing for me was the government's one hundred mark welcome money i went over to west berlin and bought a chocolate kinda. a lot has happened since then and the buildings are completely restored. you could still see the difference between east and west but that's no longer the case it's really only the older generation who still refer to east and west berlin. and. the sky kitchen is located on the twelfth floor of

a hotel in the district of lucian bear not far from the train station in the past this area was shunned by many berliners and considered unattractive. but now it's growing in popularity many families in particular are moving here because the rents are still affordable. alexander spent much of his childhood with his grandparents on their farm in northern germany perhaps that's why he came to love the local cuisine. the star chef still draws many of his ingredients from the region. visitors kitchen can choose from three to eleven course menus and taste issues that surprise not only the palate but the eye the menu changes four times a year. we have so many great ingredients in the world.
