security guarantees for the kim jong un regime and also an easing of economic sanctions by by the united states and the world community on north korea so they can develop their economy so a lot to talk about at that summit tomorrow various expectations from both of these leaders but there is expectations too on the korean peninsula what would some kind of denuclearize nation deal mean for both north and south koreans. well any kind of denuclearization or peace deal that might eventually happen would have very different effects depending on which part of career you're looking at if you're looking at north korea for example it's an isolated impoverished country and many people there facing food insecurity facing malnourishment so the living conditions there very very dire for many people so if if sanctions were to be were

to be lifted economic sanctions and more trade would be happening with north korea then that would improve the economy and eventually that would trickle down to regular north koreans and improve their lives at least that's the hope now for south korea it's a different situation of course being economically very very far developed but they've been living with the threat it was with this with this threat from north korea for for for so many years more than sixty years and if you take seoul for example a metropolitan area of more than twenty million people just fifty kilometers or so from the north korean border so well in range of conventional north korean artillery you can imagine the kind of situation the kind of threat scenario that people in south korea have been living with and younger south koreans don't know any other any other lives any other situation so that could that could that could be relieved and taken away from them that would be of course a burden off their shoulders now also in south korea there are many families that
