impressive because they basically did need to do as i said once and worked out how about a replay because this is another roberto martinez tactic. he had even has a playing on the left wing at the start of the gang once france kind of sussed that out they really didn't give him any room to move. in as that as i mentioned kevin the burning it was a fantastic job by france they get criticised by different having the attacking flair but tactically i think today's show got it spot on they kept their formation they were rigid they didn't let him get through and i think maybe worryingly for whoever they play in the final video they start off again said they maybe have another game because they didn't really punished and when they had chances on the counter-attack we can hear now from someone who got that winning goal he praised the team efforts. you know i'm going to i feel so much pride. like we worked a lot for this way but we did it together of those all of us like us who like to

watch t.v. i scored the goal but the whole team played well much much we did what we had to do to get to the final it's just and i'm very proud of evelyn. shielded people something unfortunate but i was the difference is just. that bullshit duration the sub playing. the game was as you could imagine fighting close but it's hard. on he was going to be decided in two maybe the one that he could find the final judge in the form so we could get a little bit of a look in front of goal. and just you know you say there may be another gear there for fred's do you think that france has what it takes to win the whole thing i think whoever they play in sunday's final whether it be england or croatia they will definitely now start the match as favorites they've got better and better as the stronger progressed they've run to impressive in the group stages but they did what they needed today to get through that then they had that fantastic four three

when against argentina in the last sixteen weeks europe why for the finals all of your advice i can see what it means to the fans that this is in paris after they schooled the gold one it's time now to be there when i'm a zes reminiscent really of one thousand nine hundred ninety eight in paris when fronts one that's won the last time so i think they will be feeling very confident whoever they play as i mentioned maybe not so much attacking flat but when you've got killian on back pay the young forward out front he he really looked stereograms belgium his pace that we saw the trick on the ball that he did in the second ha i mean i think they are going to be that seems to be in the final all right jonathan great from our sports desk is always on thank you very much we'll be talking again same place same time florida thank you. all right other news now to the end of a story that well it seemed almost impossible just two weeks ago tonight against all the odds all twelve boys and their soccer coach had been freed from

succeeded against all the odds in bringing out the group a difficult and dangerous process with two divers leading each one of the boys in their coach through more than four kilometers of dark narrow and partially flooded underground tunnels one diver told later of his fee is this the first boy he was brought to would say when i sold the dive on their indicator into horizon we can't see that far apart probably about fifty meters i still don't know if it were. if it was a casualty open or security. so i was i thought i was very scared it didn't fair court but i saw that he was alive and breathing and seemed to be all right. it felt very good a fleet of ambulances transported the rescued boys from the cave entrance to a hospital in the nearby city of chiang rai. for the families that had been an

agonizing wait eighteen days hoping against hope that their loved ones would be brought out to life. i want to thank everyone who took part in the government and all the officials the police the soldiers and the seals both from thailand and abroad and. joy and relief on all sides that for the football team known as the wild boar was their harrowing underground ordeal is finally over. and he. is standing by for us at that hospital where the boys have been whisked off to good evening to you know we know that the parents of all of the boys had agreed to you know reunion until everyone had been rescued that has happened now have the parents now had a chance to see their children. yeah hi there and well we are learning that the parents still were not able to embrace their kids
11:09 pm
but yes that they were able to see them through a window also a little bit earlier we saw an ambulance car here coming at the hospital and parents were able to get a glimpse of their kids and they still have to wait a couple of days until they really get real you know reunited with their kids doctors are saying at the moment that they are still a little bit of warre that they kids that maybe suffered often infection and that's why they're doing this at the moment let me tell you in general that's what we also heard a little bit earlier here during the press conference had really of the kids are you know despite what happened in pretty good condition some of them that's what we're learning has been suffering a little bit with low body temperature but in general they're in good spirits they have been asking already for their favorite dishes and it seems that in general they are really in a good mood i mean that is good to hear it is good news but we can't talk about a total happy ending here we have to remember that. navy seal wast his life in

this operation. and this was a very international operation wasn't it i mean he was involved. yeah exactly well i mean many people here also talk about this navy diver that you know didn't make it that it was that that's the guy it's during this rescue mission a little bit earlier we also saw some people here they had his picture in his hand and yes this was really an international at task force basically that was going on here already from the beginning of the thai government force saying we can do this on our own we need international hey if so they were asking for help for volunteers for professional divers so this was really a mission from the navy seals here in thailand with divers for example from denmark from the united kingdom and because of that that's what many are saying we have had

this really successful operation happening today and also yesterday there was general cooper there reporting from that hospital in thailand where the rescue boys and their coach are recovering from an ordeal that lasted well over two weeks here's some of the other stories now that are making headlines around the world the widow of the chinese nobel peace prize laureate. has been freed and has arrived here in berlin new show had been kept under near total house arrest with no formal charges since two thousand and ten the german government had been pushing for her release since her husband died in custody a year ago. the british man poisoned with the noble job nerve agent ten days ago has regained consciousness charlie rose lee was poisoned along with his partner dawn sturgeon's she died on sunday the couple collapsed near solsbury the city

where former russian spy sergei scribble and his daughter were exposed to the nerve agent back in march. well here in germany the controversial interior minister has been accused of making an insensitive remark in his ongoing battle with chancellor angela merkel over migration policy you know he was launching his long promised migration plan when he made an observation in dubious taste about failed asylum seekers being deported to afghanistan on his birthday cake a list i was given that i'm in a month on the same day as my sixty ninth birthday that was sixty nine people it wasn't ordered by me sent back to afghanistan that is far more than what has been usual up to now. it's the life or or who is going to breed is you're with me so what what what was that was that just a case of insert in the foot in mouth now and think later i think it was definitely
11:13 pm
much more than that more than a tasteless joke i mean if anything it really sheds light and quiet this rather blah is a massive change which hospital for the german interior minister is radio starting to take towards germany's migration policy debate goes completely against this call that we're haring by from the e.u. from brussels and from chancellor angela merkel recently to have more humanity and remember that migration policy is about humans it's about people and this goes completely against this call and of course that particularly deportations of afghans from jonie is still quite a controversial issue because afghanistan is still not technically a safe country you've got the taliban of the islamist still fighting against the government that so especially i think after the theatricals ready that we saw from whole stay home from the last two to three weeks of a japanese migration policy this really takes his attitude towards that to a whole new level is this master plan or migration that he unveiled. it
11:14 pm
has in it ideas that have already been rejected by other members of this coalition government so what is he doing is he just trying to flesh out you know the concerns of other parties and push his own agenda through he can't do that exactly i think the whole press conference today was really quite provocative and what he presented at the end of the day was an out of date platform and it doesn't even include as you mentioned any of those eleventh hour changes which were actually agreed upon by the coalition and all the way through of this past couple of weeks it really seems that he's trying to undermine not only the the. coalition which of course is made up of his conservatives merkel's conservatives and the social democrats but also trying to undermine undermine merkel of course he said today as well that this plan was he admitted agreed upon by his interior ministry and not by the coalition
11:15 pm
government of course so this completely sidesteps merkel and undermines her authority and even her credibility almost as if the events of last week didn't even happen you get the impression of their political correspondent is always good thanks very much. on freedom and the whole. world i come from the region is rich in history. but so poor any opportunity and freedom this makes it special you difficult for independent journalists i see many of the younger promising journalists who are now making a name for themselves or over there are. some like the power along the way saw my photo. with continued.
