little of what we know so far is that this incident took place in lieu of being in northern germany on the close to the baltic sea at around one thirty pm local time this afternoon the bus it was a public bus thirty witnesses on that bus and now being questioned by police and a rucksack reportedly fell from the suspect this afternoon from which he then went and pulled a weapon and according to eyewitnesses that weapon was a kitchen knife in the suspects then reportedly stabbed several people on that bus and figures that we've got com fome from police so far as eight people is it eight people were reportedly stabbed in this incident five of them reportedly suffering from slight injuries and another three they suffered fairly serious injuries now

we're not sure exactly what's going on with those people who have suffered those injuries at the moment but the area around where this attack a suspected knife attack took place is still being cordoned off and it's thought that many people on this both were in fact on their way to a sailing festival which was due to open today and the local prosecution office has said that it's not yet clear exactly how this incident might actually affect the security at that sailing event and there are more than a thousand people sailing enthusiastic expected to attend that event over the next few days but apart from that we all still waiting for more details from the police again the local prosecution service has said that they haven't ruled out any kind of motive yet including a terrorist motive but of course we're still waiting waiting to find out the

background to that incident from the police i can't that i understand that the police of the person who committed this knife attack is in police custody do the police believe that the assailant acted alone. so far there's been no reports either from police of any of the suspects in this incident we have heard from local media they've spoken to some witnesses who were on the bus is that there was in fact a small fire on the bus that's what we've heard from witnesses so far i am so explosive experts are now actually investigating that and having a look at that backpack which belonged. believe to the suspect who as you say has now been taken into custody have lubeck authorities provided any information kate about who the suspect is well so far at least going around social
