a spur strong foothold in eastern germany it's much stronger there than it is in western germany is support for that to be linked to a feeling of being disenfranchised in the east definitely but you see not just in east germany by the way you see a growing sentiment all over germany and that is if you get a growing gap between the so-called political establishment and the people and the same phenomenon that you have in the u.s. by the way but it is especially strong in east germany and that is one very important reason for the relative success of these local to the party which basically for many people is a protest movement to protest against those. those elites i mean that's the key word and you find that much stronger in east germany in the west but it's also there in west germany so you've mentioned racism as
