nigeria scores are varied in the debris including schoolchildren use funny for chart is there. any time after teams tried to get as many people as soon as possible from underneath the problem. rescuers have managed to pull at least twenty seven people from the debris including this young man but there are fatalities. and the u.s. and president donald trump joining much of the rest of the world in grounding all boeing seven thirty seven max planes that following that deadly crash in less than a second in less than five months. i'm burned off it's good to have you with us it has been an evening of high drama in britain's house of commons lawmakers have voted to rule out. a no deal with

drawl from the european union and no deal rexy the vote was three hundred twenty one in favor to two hundred seventy eight against it paves the way for a vote tomorrow to delay britain's exit date beyond the scheduled march twenty ninth but british prime minister teresa mayes government has also set out plans for a third parliamentary vote on her overall birthrights a deal now pay close attention here with the e.u. and then vote is supposed to be held by march twentieth and responding to her latest of a very hoarse prime minister to resign may had this to say. could meet the legal force in the u.k. and. remains that the u.k. would leave the e.u. without a deal. unless something else is agree. the other nurse is now on every one of us in this house to find out what i see is the options before us the same as they always have. we could
10:03 pm
. we could leave with the deal which this government is negotiation to yes we could leave with the deal we have to give the subject to a second referendum but that this risk no prexy it. our we've had team coverage on the latest installment in the budget saga joining us from london is our very own barbara faisal and here in the studio with me is alex forced whiting our resident bricks and analyst both of you welcome back barbara let's start with you we've got a vote tomorrow and we expect parliament to say yes we want an extension we need more time before break to be begins is it that it's. drawing in black and white. nothing is cut and dried and nothing is black and white because london and westminster and particular is in such utter chaos that i wouldn't dare to pronounce this to be nine and if the sun comes out to be a day it things have completely topsy turvy here and it's totally sort of going
10:04 pm
backwards and forwards so basically the idea was that tomorrow after this vote against no deal tonight which was its own special farce then tomorrow there will be . in extension but we are not yet clear about what kind of extension on the trees the maze suggests a short technical one which would only serve to push her own deal through and to sort of sort of get the technicality technicalities over and all will be a longer more meaningful extension that would give a chance for a different kind of breaks the softer one for instance remaining in the customs union or something else maybe even a second referendum he says speaking about that so this is not really quite clear we don't know where the majority in parliament is at they have all of tonight and have the day tomorrow to think about it they've been doing that
10:05 pm
a lot lately barbara alex why are we talking yet again about teresa mayes breaks a plan didn't parliament yesterday for a second time rejected yes we had the first in january a massive two hundred thirty when george against her deal then last night one hundred forty nine majority against her dale and yet she's still prime minister which is extraordinary and she may well she is going to try and bring this back again next wednesday before at the e.u. ministers meet so everything of what we've seen this week what we. in. it's groundhog day i'm afraid she's going to keep trying to trying to bring it back until something better comes along and the reason why she can do that is that although there is no agreement in palm and about which way to go there is also no agreement on who would who could replace a she won't step down she doesn't have to step down at the moment so she is still
10:06 pm
just about running the show i say she's just about running the show tonight m.p.'s including in her own side including cabinet ministers those very top m.p.'s around some of those abstained say they did not support this bid to try to take to try to ensure that no deal can still be on the table because they ended up voting against their own motion i mean it was chaotic there are two separate moves a rumor that these harburg since years they haven't disappeared they haven't they haven't disappeared they're the ones who have pretty much done for treason may they are the ones that she has been trying to play to to do everything they want to get this deal through tonight we are hearing that some of them may well vote for dale next wait on condition that she goes we don't know when they want had to go but that she makes it very clear that she won't be lost in that much longer however the problem with this group of breaks it is from the european research group is that they'll often say these things and then they change their minds and we will not

know until next wednesday night about what will be a repeat we've gone to labor lawmakers threatening. that if we don't have clear day by to morrow that is going to take over and begin running the broad sit process do you see that as realistic is that where we're headed. i'm afraid pretty similar to what alex just said about the tories the hard line breaks the cheers amongst the chary is that they talk the talk but they don't walk the walk i mean they they really sort of shoot their mouth off and then in the end nothing comes of it they've been talking about taking control of this since january lavery is like the tories deeply divided the party is divided what they really want jeremy carbon is still pushing for all this fantasy stuff labor breaks that there will be in their regular speed good for regular sleep be good for jobs and everything else and that simply doesn't exist i mean this is similar fantasy like
10:08 pm
on the other side the hard part is to cheers have it and stick to labor is not going to save the day unless they really sit down and have a very serious think about what they want and what they could do for britain in this very difficult situation since the point is that if parliament wants to control it take control this is the last point it can do it is tomorrow the last day it could really try for didn't go for it will they unite overdyed maybe we can look into their heads also i wouldn't want to ok but barbara it is possible though that next week what could happen is that we could get the brakes a plan that parliament does not want and we could see theresa may no longer prime minister. having to resign because parliament is accepting her brakes a plan i mean in my understanding that rowing. you basically understanding that
10:09 pm
right even though it is beyond any any sort of rationale that question is which reason may do that would she fall on her sword because she has said she is the one she wanted to deliver bracks and she wants this also she does not want a hard line for exit she has a strong sense of responsibility and to. u.-t. and she knows she is not a hard line breaks and here she knows that this would really end in misery because what the hard line breaks the cheers if they would then take over government what they would push for and nobody would recognise britain within a year's time from now so would she go was it would she i mean this is this is almost the sort of dramatic good the dramatic point classic tragedy what she sort of secor fice herself in order to save the wrecks a deal and let the hard line breaks and tears in or would she say ok let's not have

the. deal i go for an extension and hope for something better yeah she's obviously willing to sacrifice her voice at least in the near term or for provisions or in london and alex here at the big table with me to both of you thank you. well here's some of the other stories now that are making headlines around the world a u.s. federal judge has sentenced former trump campaign chairman paul manifold to three and a half years in prison on conspiracy charges now that's in addition to a four year sentence for tax and bait for a new york court has also indicted man a ford on the murders fresh charges police in brazil say that ten people are dead after a shooting at an elementary school in sao paolo two people were seen in a ring the building and firing weapons the shooters are among the dead with one news agency reporting that they turned the guns on themselves u.s. bank forces in syria have shelled the final strip of territory held by so-called islamic state in the town of boggles one report described as jihad is being

housing a private elementary school and a nursery on the top floor of a residential apartment block collapsed late morning with around one hundred students inside attending a class. not so hard just passing by i was just passing by and i heard a building had collapsed with people living inside so i had to come and rescue and help them to make it to the hospital. and it was just beautiful introduction i would've gotten so bad the ties that bind us to this have somebody's day that is it was all the proof that the judge in the end is about to suffer. rescue operations on the way but the emergency services say their efforts of being complicated by how densely populated the area is they've been unable to coordinate large pots of it. with around twenty million people and growing lagos is one of the biggest cities on the african continent. it was not immediately clear why the

building collapsed but such incidents are not uncommon in nigeria critics say they are often caused by on scrupulous investors cutting corners on materials or bribes being paid for illegal building permits. or the correspondent of an even char is at the side of the building collapse in she's been talking to emergency personnel and residents there. more and more people are coming here to see all these rescue efforts are ongoing many of them have been there since early this morning and many are saying that they are going to stay here overnight because they want to see and witness themselves if people and children especially who are believed to be out of this trouble in that great number of being pulled alive from underneath that rubble now according to the state governor who was here this afternoon about twenty five people have been already pulled from below that rubble but some of them with that he said that. if you look at this crowd not just people standing by is also

relatives of those people was killed on that these three especially parents of course of very much worried about their children they want to know where they are and they want to know whether they make it out alive. and that was funny to chart their reporting from walks in nigeria to ireland's wild atlantic coast where the world's best windsurfers gathered this week for the latest round of the storm chasers to take a look at this now competitors well they took to the water to make the most of a massive storm we were going to show you those pictures but i guess they got blown away there's a massive storm that so winds there we go reach more than one hundred thirty kilometers per hour waves as high as ten meters australia's jaeger stone we understand one of the latest round. you're watching t w news still to come the united states making a u. turn on boeing u.s. president don't drop says new information on the seven thirty seven max eight
