states it is fairly easy to purchase and hand guns legally for ever citizens so we also know that there are of already been dozens of shootings in the united states this year alone and you mentioned that carrying guns in the state of virginia is legal but what will it take how many more tragedies until gun laws in the u.s. might be changed or made more strict. to be honest i really don't know it seems that that it's totally unclear what it would take to change the. gun violence epidemic it has to be said that this is a kind of violence epidemic in the us that these mass shootings occur with them with regular intervals in the us here and it is unclear what it will take to change that i myself have covered several of these mass shootings and there was always an outpouring of grief and support after those shootings but then there is hardly ever

call comes as the number of anti-semitic incidents in germany is on the rise we'll hear from the commissioner in just a moment but 1st met a jewish man in berlin who wears the skull cap or keeper as it's also known but is careful about being seen in public with it. david pearl wears a skull cap and a prayer tussle as part of everyday life but when he goes outside he puts the tassel in a pocket and he hides the skull cap with a hat through david his wife and children have lived in berlin for 5 years after spending some time in israel there are many things he can't take for granted anymore he's experienced too much hostility for my hosts sometimes as a traffic jam on the street where i live and one time 3 arabic looking men got out of a car and they started spitting at me and harassing me saying you dirty jew who stab you today. this experience is far from unusual police statistics show that the

an especially significant issue here in germany. and semitism in germany is always something very special because the holocaust was invented here and happened here and of course we have to take a very very close look at the situation and with the description of the reality i wanted to trigger an honest. discussion and like in normal life i think when you want to make a good therapy you 1st have to analyze the situation this is what i did and i'm quite satisfied that the discussion is so broad now that we have to protect jewish life in germany together politics the state and society as well and it comes in the context of our crude stay which you are calling on all germans to wear a keep in solidarity with jews could stay which has origins in iran is to show support for the palestinian state it's inherently anti israel anti sinus would you
