shared on the internet of a protest chosing a man in a liquid and then setting him a place that man is also in critical condition in the hospital these 2 events of course are very likely to escalate the violence further so far we have seen clashes in many parts of hong kong. and he's doing a reporting from hong kong next we shift our attention to turkey because that country has begun sending suspected so-called islamic state supporters captured in syria back to their countries of origin the turkish interior ministry says a us citizen was the 1st to be repatriated berlin has confirmed that it expects several german nationals to arrive later this week recently criticized its western allies for refusing to take back their citizens and warned that it would send back the militants and their relatives even if their citizenship has already been revoked. pictures from camps in syria those set for deportation are primarily

relatives of suspected i asked fighters including women and children out of roughly 20 germans who are now in turkish deportation camps 10 are to be repatriated the german government has expressed surprise to and says nothing for this it's important for us to find out if there's a connection to ins militants and if this is the case then we must see to it that those deported to germany be brought before german courts to do that we must receive adequate information and we expect cooperation from the turkish government from the turkish thank you all never suspected supporters of the ios will not only be repatriated to germany he says she did. have a message for all european governments we are sending these people back to you starting monday. we are sending them back whether you like it or not. the europeans feel turkey has a strong arm because it made this decision unilaterally without discussing it with

e.u. countries these. this is a security problem for turkey the entire region and all of europe will we must stop these barbarians from operating at large again and this action must be a coordinated one was called idiots in berlin opposition parties say such coordination could have begun much earlier in the turkey had long since made its intentions clear. let's get more on germany's a perspective on this issue i'm joined now by d. w's brady kids the german government's obviously is very reluctant about taking back i s fighters and their relatives from syria because of security reasons it does so we have an obligation however to take back its citizens. germany does indeed have an obligation to take these people back and as german citizens they have the right to return here and be repatriated unlike in some other european

countries for example like the u.k. for example they have actually revoked the citizenship of people that have been found to be i.r.s. feiss what we'll have when those of course as we heard in the report that is also still unclear but as far as germany is concerned these people do have the right to return here and now the question is what germany actually does with them when they return let's talk a little bit more about that kid what is germany's policy does germany have a kind of rehabilitation program for people who want to return home or do they face prison time. well these are all questions which have been part of a much bigger debate here in germany for months now knowing that more and more suspected i fight as a starting to return back to germany either of their own accord or as we're seeing now in the case of turkey here when they are being sent back whether they like it or not as we heard there from ankara in terms of rehabilitation programs there are

certain measures in place particularly in prisons there are programs available but whether or not these people who are expected to return this week will indeed face prison or face any legal prosecution here in germany that is another question in itself of course german authorities have to prove in the 1st place whether these people indeed were linked to the so-called islamic state i asked whether they were militants at all of course there are also expected to be children returning among the 10 people that are expected to return to germany just this week there are 2 children among them and so they themselves will also need some counseling and rehabilitation so there's still a lot of questions to be answered here in germany and the debate here on what to do with these suspected fighters is far from over reporting thank you once i know about some of the other stories making news around the world. thousands of
