by photographer cali's shall who has a friend at exclusive access. is best known as a wine bottle stopper but now it's being used to build. this week the film frozen to officially became the most successful animation film of all time it's a pos the 1st movie which was top of the box office list before but now frozen to has already taken 1300000000 dollars since its november release great news for disney but funnily enough not such good news for a small village in austria which has a serious problem with this success is why. frozen in the kingdom of erin dell is home to snow queen elsa and her sister ana. karen bell's a place you won't find on any map or will you can tell it's not safe.
10:46 pm
rumors are coursing through social media that aaron dell is based on this place the village of hushed up in the austrian alps great advertisement for the town's tourism industry except it is already up to its eyeballs in tourists 10 years ago the village only got about 100 visitors a day last year it got 10000 a day outnumbering the locals 13 to one. year to make a dream come true because this is. a move to fool if you can't even walk through the village anymore you get pushed and biking is really dangerous. and now with disney fans adding to the mix the town's mayor says they've got enough tourists already thank you. is trying to put a cap on the number of visitors who journey here from around the globe. in frozen to elsa is on a journey of her own. called by spirits to the dark sea that lies beyond her

kingdom into the unknown. for travellers in search of erin dell may not find. many tourists and austria have already seen every corner of the tiny town on you guessed it instagram no way. the alter of david leavitt's is with me now that normally david this is a sense of pride when a town gets featured in a film for its beauty but this isn't the case well this is a tension that the town of just doesn't really want or need anymore this is a town with a population of 780 people that last year had a 1000000 tourists come through there one main street that they've got. and so basically at this point the mayor is saying look it's not us it's he's trying to
10:48 pm
deny that his town has anything to do with with frozen he says well this looks more like the ryan and austria to me in germany but you know there is a certain resemblance of the town with frozen you've got these mountains sort of these little spirally church that's even though disney's animators apparently did their research in norway not in austria but how is the man he said he's going to put a cap on the taurus has he going to do that so they're going to put a limit on the number of buses that can come to the town and that the buses will have to stay for longer because currently the tourists are in and now they don't even have time to buy a souvenir or a drink ok now this new movie seems to be the last role as you said as we saw the villages already overrun by tourists as well and this is something that's developed really over the last decade even before frozen 2 came out particularly with east asian visitors there is something of a cult about this town of in. east asian countries dot the town

featured on a south korean soap opera there's even in china a clone of this village that was built in the year 2012 near the southern city of one show a replica of the village complete with the town square their church and a lot of chinese people basically go there if they don't have the time or cash to visit the real stuff in austria and now the hype because of throws so it well you know it's funny because the main character in frozen in the 1st movie she decides she wants to be alone in the 2nd movie she wants to be alone and now the people of austria just want to be alone but it's not going to happen and i have to tell you the. forest of the movie looks like it would be but everybody i want david david as always thank you very much for. the american photographer kathy shell was a friend of the obama's long before they into the white house she had access to them like no other and for over

hampshire in january of 2008 it's the morning of the primaries. if you're on a bus driving down the back road in the pasture and they have 20 minutes together and then they'll go their separate ways and so they start reading the paper together and i love the fact that he is reading the paper and that one point she just relaxed completely and put her head next to his and then she just fell asleep and they just had this private little. the obama they come as a team. here and we shall prepare some for what's to come this shot was taken just moments before obama took his oath. the 1st lady is always by his side she says biggest supporter and helps them stay grounded. and this is about the 12th or 13th ball we've been to more of these at this elevator and i love

elevators because nobody can leave when you can take pictures but he's telling her he's so proud of himself he said i'm so proud of myself because i never stepped on your dress not even once she just was pretty funny cause that's your biggest accomplishment today with the fact you didn't step on my dress that he said if. i could mess of this but if i messed up her dress that would have been no trouble. also captured the difficulty showing that there is a lonely side to being the president. obama is a person who is very good at taking bad news and kind of listening so there's a photograph where he just leaning back in a chair in the cabinet room. and they've just told him that the economy is 3 times worse than he ever thought it was and that no you're not going to be able to fix it he said do you think we'll be able to fix this in
10:53 pm
a year and they know you can fix this in 4 years. it's not a yeller he doesn't scream it doesn't throw fits he literally just pauses and just takes it all his way of getting mad and the pressure is to just listen you know take it and reflect. obama always tries to say down to earth and close to the people he buys his own ice cream and shakes hands. washing the dishes doing normal things like to be portrayed as an ordinary relatable man a family man always surrounded by michelle and his daughters. needless to say that some of these moments are staged for the camera. never the last kelly shall manage to capture his absence and all these different facets obama as the president and hospital father and simply

as bottle corks are increasingly replaced by metal and plastic stoppers is in decline so the rediscovery of course as a building material is welcome bartek. is a true pioneer. in his field his house introduce many off the text of the beauty of color and it's great in she lighting qualities against noise and cold it's a revolution born from japan to canada and why we wish it was a good spec for material. now hundreds of constructions using cork have been built private homes doctors practice says schools but there has never been a building made exclusively of cork like the house in a sense matthew howland is pleased with the results. the much. attention perhaps he is interested in huge windows and smooth flat white walls and i really
