how do you explain i mean you're there in l.a. in hollywood i know that the academy has made changes in the last 2 years i mean the academy itself has tried to become more diverse so why why do you think that is not being reflected in the nominations. here here's the problem when you look at it there are changes being made but there are slow changes that's the problem there are more women and people of color in front of the camera in hollywood today than there were chain years ago the problem is the process is slow and really what it's going to take is a change in the top 6 weeks that means the people who run the studios have to hire more government and people of color when it comes to these big blockbuster films that's the 1st problem the 2nd problem is what the academy the economy is still overwhelmingly white male more than 80 percent and until that changes you're not
