correspondent kate brady kate which measures have been taken exactly. well as you say the measures that are being recommended around germany right now come from the top but actually germany is of course a federal system so what we're seeing actually as a very slow but steady trickle of the various measures across the country right now different states moving at different speeds but one of the biggest changes that we've seen in the last 24 hours or so is the number of schools that are expected to close as of next week many states saying that schools and universities will be closed until the end of the easter holidays and also if you just look a bit closer to home here in berlin as well now we have museums close here theaters have been closed all most for most of last week actually and that's expected to continue for the forseeable future so of course over the coming week we are expecting every part of daily life here in germany really to be affected and of
