and a viral hit from a russian techno group inspires people all over the world to dance their way through quarantine. i'm claire richardson welcome to the show we begin in spain which has suffered more coronavirus cases than any other country in europe you know the 25000 people there have died but the number of new cases is dropping as the government is responding by easing some of its strict lockdown measures for the 1st time in almost 2 months people in spain are now allowed outside to exercise again but still with some restrictions. celebrations of freedom in madrid starting today spaniards can leave their homes to exercise. as something

a video by the moscow bound band cream soda has taken the internet by storm inspiring people all over the world to dance their way through teen. with people around the world stuck in self isolation the song is dedicated to all the cancelled parties. which translates as i'm crying to techno has become a quarantine anthem it's taken over the russian speaking world or at least it's balconies. soon after the release of the song people started posting their own versions of the video on social media across russia and ukraine as well as other countries people grab at the chance to go just a little bit crazy. people
