those out in central berlin the south than in kite what can you run on. people where you are hitting social distancing roles. exactly and so on today i mean one of the parks in eastern inherent it seems for the large part most people are still the daring to the restrictions that are still in place on social contact making sure that people are keeping at least 1.5 metres apart from people that are not from their households and just anecdotally speaking from this afternoon it seems that a lot of people are now starting to meet with the households i've seen several small groups meeting at a distance at other sides of the picnic blankets and a lot of people 'd are out in different sports together exercising as well and that's something we're expecting to see increasingly in the coming days as most of germany 16 states will start to open. face restaurants as well but of course there are still social distancing restrictions in place as well as that. to wear masks
3:03 pm
both in shops and on public transport. great we've heard a lot about how the lock down has tested the patience of parents but a lot of other people feel are this is more broadly becoming a civil rights issue even as the lock down restrictions are being used how widely held is that concern that is becoming a civil rights issue. well we saw several demonstrations pop up across germany yesterday with thousands of people turning out they the main issue that these protesters have is they accuse the medical professionals here in germany in politicians of infringing their rights due to the partial lockdown measures that we've seen hammered struction in recent weeks of course many of those are now being eased and that all depends as well on how they should reproduction rights continues to fluctuate as you've already mentioned it's now at over 1 point
3:04 pm
one we can have a look now at exactly who might be behind these a growing protest. i'm familiar scenes for a country where large gatherings in close contact sometimes thousands defied distancing rosenstock got to protest the coronavirus restrictions families with children young and old. between you know if i'm not because i think the restrictions of gone too far. more and i don't think wearing a face mask is necessary any more it was i know it's clearly about limiting civil liberties and i'm always in favor of freedom. of the demonstrators include some who believe in conspiracy theories others who believe forced vaccinations are coming. research survey extremism all of a duck us as disparate groups and you know it's across germany to oppose the restrictions so. it's clearly a protest citizen protest based on the feeling that something has gone wrong in
3:05 pm
these last weeks but that feeling is being used and manipulated by the extreme right. money. is that the next. government is monitoring the protest movement with concern worried that the mood in the country could sour. this is the mitchell it's a questionable mixture this is gaining traction and it could potentially lead to the radicalization of some individuals that's what that's what i'm worried. does cannot that's what. trouble arose around the edges of one demonstration in ur of the police forces attempted to break up the rally. we've observed some people from the extreme rights movements hanging around the edge of the demonstration acting aggressively. police say they included some well known members of germany's far right see. brady is still with us from a park in central berlin the place captures
3:06 pm
a really interesting moment and it raises the question is this a growing singular movement we're seeing or do you think this is more the pandemic as a moment that is unifying several different groups in protest. this is certainly unifying several different groups and the one thing that seems to unite them at the moment is this distrust of mainstream politics and also certain degree mainstream media as well and it really is quite incredible to see the breadth of the different groups that were attending these demonstrations as we heard there in the reports those people from the bar left from the far right everything in between and on top of that you've also got conspiracy theorists people from anti-vaccination groups also known holocaust deniers so there are concerns that these demonstrations could be utilized to a very different purpose in the coming weeks and even abuse said the old ortiz will be keeping an eye on how these develop but that said these groups are still a minority and according to a poll at least from just
3:07 pm
a couple of days ago 2 thirds of the nation here in germany actually still supports the restrictions that are currently in place of course that's a much lower number than just a few weeks ago at the beginning of the pandemic when just over 90 percent of the nation supported the government's decision to put restrictions on certain social contacts but of course these numbers as i say set to be reviewed in the coming days but by experts and politicians so we could still even see a step back of those eason's of restrict easing on restrictions yet depending on how the number of cases fluctuates and that all important reproduction rate fluctuates in the coming days. building pretty thank you so much. south korea's president known giant has urged people not to lower their god in the battle against the corona virus this comes after south korea reported 34 new cases in just one day said the country needed to brace for a 2nd wave of the pandemic the country has been widely praised for containing its

corona virus outbreak and last week the game began easing restrictions. on the fun didn't last long this is one of the 3 clubs a 29 year old man visited before testing positive for corbett 19 so far more than 2 dozen cases have been linked to nightclubs in the e.t.o. one district in seoul authorities i currently tracking thousands of people who visited any of the clubs the sole mayor quickly put the lockdown brakes on. the city of seoul issues an order immediately prohibiting gatherings in all entertainment facilities including night clubs clubs like boss and hostess. from this moment such facilities have to suspend their business and will face strict punishment if they breach the order. total. people working in the district are on high alert. we hope

customers will be more cooperative when we are asked for their names for visitor records. we all need to work together for a better future. i think this incident could have happened anywhere not just an entire. south korean president moon j n is warning of a 2nd wave of infections. you go in search of the infection cluster which recently occurred in entertainment facilities has raised awareness that even during the stabilization phase similar situations can arise again any time zones anywhere in the crowded space it's not over until it's over. the new infections are a blow to south korea's image as the role model in the fight against the corona virus and they could be a warning sign to other countries considering easing restrictions. now for

a brief look at some of the other stories making headlines around the world a 25 year old german man in the southern german town a valid kibo book has been charged with arson and attempted murder after a series of attacks on shops and by people of turkey's turkish origin the man said he sympathizes with the so-called islamic state and has named his quote hatred of turks as the motive police say they found several pipe bombs in his position. iraq's new prime minister has ordered the release of prisoners arrested during the anti-government protests that began last october mustafa also promised justice for the more than $550.00 people killed in the wrist protests led to the fall of the previous government. 3 members of the white house coronavirus task force warranting among them is dr anthony fauci the face of the u.s. virus response apparently come into contact with white house staff member who has tested positive for the coronavirus. sport and german football fans have been

eagerly awaiting the return of the bundesliga this month but could the hopes soon be dashed 2nd division side dressed in have been ordered to send their entire squad into quarantine for 2 weeks to 2 of their players tested positive for the coronavirus that means they are unable to play their match against hanover on my 17th to cologne place tested positive last week but only those 2 not the entire squad were told the so far the decision by the local health authority in dresden sits precent here that could put the resumption of play across germany into jeopardy including the top. of a more on this all of the movie from the deadly sports joins me only what a moment just one would hope bosses didn't want as they've been an official response there has and the message so far is don't panic christine the head of the d.f.l. german football league came out yesterday and said that the plan that they have to
3:12 pm
finish the bundesliga season does account for things like this happening they knew of course of the possibility in the likelihood of more players testing positive for corona virus before the end of the season so this one effect their strategy if it went so far as to say that he doesn't even interpret this as a setback which i think will raise a few eyebrows i think most people would see it as a setback for that plan the other thing he said that stood out. he was that this only affects the dresden quarantine only affects 2 out of $81.00 games left in the 2nd division season now of course that's a fair point but it does raise the question of how many games would it take before they would have to go back to the drawing board right because that's where my mind goes with where's the tipping point it's only dresden who's in quarantine and so if it has preempted those questions but could further cases de relit is it going to get serious if we get no we're absolutely at some point it would but you've got to remember there's so many factors involved in this is very difficult to predict i
3:13 pm
mean we've heard already about the local health authorities being the ones to decide the measures taken when players return positive tests and that means that location is all important where the players are who return positive tests you know which clubs they play for will have a massive effect on the impact that those positive tests have on the overall plan for the rest of the bundesliga season and you just can't predict where they're going to come from on top of that you know you've got the how quickly will clubs react to more positive tests how quickly will public opinion turn it's all a guessing game at the moment right and so many people involved politicians got german football the green line but it was the german football league who chose this date to restart long before other european leagues and long before most other sports in the entire world did they go to italy i do have a little bit of sympathy with the d.f.l. here because this is a difficult task this balancing act trying to strike don't forget that the robert cock institute here in germany predicts asics but around the world do that there

could be a 2nd wave of the virus hit now that means that the d.f.l. wants to get in this kind of sweet spot where you're at the back end of the 1st wave and not means that the risk is low of players spreading the virus amongst themselves but still that you have enough time to finish the season before a potential 2nd wave of the virus really picks up and nobody knows when all this is going to happen of course though this week is all important if there are more positive tests before the season restarts than a lot of people will be saying they went to see all ours from football fans and sporting fans from nowhere around the world on germany or the moody thanks so much . and finally before we go the man widely considered to be the founding father of rock n roll has done little richard was 87 years old singapore that distinctive voice flamboyant showmanship and lightning fast rhythms to popular music in the 1950s it was one of the 1st african-american artists to cross the racial divide in the music business he's best known hits included long tall sally into the 30 we leave you now
