arrival in new york james the world is watching the u.s. and these demonstrators back out on the streets so how are the protests today going so far. well we've had another day of protests here in you know kind of the major cities across the u.s. so far in this city in new york everything has been peaceful there's been a large number of marches and rallies in different parts of manhattan and brooklyn they've been largely peaceful people singing gospel songs maybe engaging in prayer speeches talking about systemic police brutality and violence and a history of racism in this country but that was during the daytime and now we've come to know i you know on how are you a curfew that was brought forward from 11 pm yesterday to 8 pm that day a large number of the people who want to protest peacefully they've gone home already and 60 minutes off the cuff your comments affect some protesters all still out in the streets with their photos on social media of
