so far is that. in the early hours of sunday. morning there were attacks on the line between i mean and as a bludgeon not going to go back in that separatist region we do not know who started that because both sides claim accuse each other and what we know is that there are casualties civilian casualties there are probably helicopters tanks and drones shut down or are destroyed and as i said the situation is developing very quickly so we have a situation as you sat over mobilization national which means that we are one of the brink of a possible war a new war although i believe that it will not go. back so what does this essentially mean for the breakaway region no going to karbala. well it is a sad an escalation but still there were some clashes in the s.b. show and last summer we had an escalation not on the line between not running kind

a later in the show. hello and welcome to another edition of your romance with me your host meghan lee here's a look at what else we've got in store for you today. of passing meeting underwater museum is a great new attraction in green. and a finish photographer connects with nature for her mystical shop. it's the october fest season and each year munich normally welcomes more than $6000000.00 locals and tourists alike for the world's biggest a beer festival. but this year it is not happening due to the coronavirus pandemic however there is still an alternative on offer now we were on location in munich last weekend to enjoy the festivities there before the social distancing laws were further tightened while despite everything people are still dressing up for the occasion and women like me are wearing
1:32 pm
a dress like this one cheers. farewells and welcome to munich germany. the october test in the varian state capital scheme is the world over. so what happens when it's impossible to host in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic city officials were forced to cancel the october fest this here the locals are still celebrating but on a much smaller scale this year. over 50 restaurants in taverns in munich came together this year to plan an alternative to the october best they call it the various house beason or tavern bees and visitors can head to individual venues across the city to drink their big beers to dance and to eat typical october 1st food all observing social distancing and wearing face masks. and many people are still wearing their no or later husband and this year m f 2 but as
1:33 pm
a big fan of the october fest 'd my so i'm wondering if this year can really measure up to the real thing so let's go check it out. so i'm going to get an october 1st beer and one of the units most famous breweries the hope for a house this year they will tap their 1st cake exactly 12 noon and the brewery not in the beer tent. has always specially brewed october 1st beer is on tap but i'm wondering if the people here are missing the traditional event comes you just can't do entirely without october fest. of course you have to stick to all the safety measures and be considerate but i think a little celebration is right and allowed no when this alternative festival is only a reminder of the original and we want to honor october fest as an event this can't be a substitute nor should it be any. sort
1:34 pm
of beers great as always and people are super nice but i must say what i am missing about the regular october fest is getting out of the people full of people that you haven't met before everyone here had to reserve their tables at a time to pen them so i am missing a little bit of that making friends by the end of the day feeling of the regular october fest. next up i'm headed to munich famous marienplatz to get a taste of my favorite october fest food and a nearly 150 year old restaurant called the rut. this is one of the many locations which are trying to keep the spirit and traditions of october festival like this here. i ordered a shrine tax the oven roasted pork knuckle is a true october fest classic. that's really good. that my favorite i've never been the case of the festival but i
1:35 pm
have to say this i think it's really nice that you were glad to have this but i really. think i'm pro se every hour but i will say there you never know. maybe i will feel the october 1st spirit a little more if i can find some more people in their later host let's go check it out. i'm happily surprised to see how many people are dressed up this year even with no october 1st taking place i'm wondering why is it still important to them. i think traditional costume is part of being a berry and why shouldn't we wear traditional cost as a woman you're always properly dressed in a dirndl. so brutal. so things certainly look a little bit different in munich this year but i have to say i really admire the people here for being able to carry on their tradition safely it's been so much fun and i hope that we can revisit the world's most famous beer festival again next year service and.
1:36 pm
next up an adventure in greece normally the country's antiquities are held in its numerous museums but now some can be admired in the deep blue sea a shipwreck with a trove of precious items has open to visitors now you won't have to worry about social distancing here but you will need to know how to dive. many ancient greek treasures are found not on land but under the sea. the country's 1st underwater museum has opened near the island of aloni so it's in the northern gnc. diving instructor. is the guy for the underwater tours. i'm a diving instructor at work in the diving institutions 5 years. sam they sing for
1:37 pm
me that i can take people they don't. know and out at work and this spatially knowledge that we have beyond that what a museum. around 4000 ancient them boring lie on the sea bed between the islands of a lonely souce and petty status. when examining them but most caution is needed. i want to make it a bit more cautious about that limitations that we have so we can make sure that we have these moments whatever so we have to keep minimum distance of one meter in. a boat and the ensign quick. tourists have around 40 minutes to view the underwater museum about 28 meters down
1:38 pm
lies an ancient shipwreck nothing remains of the wooden hall only its cargo can still be seen one emporia. it's thought to have been a merchant ship that sailed from athens 2500 years ago the story goes that for unknown reasons it caught fire and sank down to the bottom of the sea. it's an impressive site for the tourists. the news the museums you always have these signs complex with explanations and we have them here too it's funny to see so many. similarities to a conventional museum even though we're in a totally different environment it's really incredible. the science explain the various styles of emporia recognizable by their shapes. aloni so this is hoping the underwater museum will bring more visitors to this previously little known island. the french tourists are certainly impressed.
1:39 pm
because we've had the good fortune to have gone diving all around the world in asia africa south america and the caribbean this vacation is a family project and when we found out you can dive down to a 2500 year old record we booked immediately i mean it's an incredible experience. after nearly 3 quarters of an hour tour guide to the ya-ya lamont gives the signal to circus. city it was really fantastic i wasn't expecting it at all it's a bit like taking a time machine. the greek waters are rich in historical treasures. of i'm upset it would be wonderful if there were other museums of this kind so we'd get a better picture of how the ancient greeks lived 2500 years ago but if you take.
1:40 pm
the residents civil only so-so are also impressed by their new attraction. petros while being nice is mayor of the island. and now he's an avid diver as well . as mayor i have to step up and set a good example. it was important to me to be able to dive here and see the shipwreck for myself with whatever you have to. for those who don't wish to die there's also a museum on the island here you can see reconstructions photos and videos of the underwater treasures a model reveals that the emporia still cover the outlines of the ship and with the help of virtual reality headset visitors can explore the seabed from dry land. diving into the history of ancient greece and entices idea.

what's the best way to combine a fresh air a bird's eye view and good food well a hot air balloon ride with gourmet dishes on board i discovered this combination recently in the netherlands their chef angelica fun cool the air offers her guests an evening of fine dining at high altitudes now if you're afraid of heights then this may not be for you but i overcame my fears for a 3 course meal and this guy. i'm in a hot air balloon over the dutch countryside but this isn't an ordinary ride here guests are offered a common area experience. you've heard of diving but what about dining i am about to embark on such an adventure. angelica might check some of the items should be using for cooking so these are special the final baskets. for day
1:42 pm
out fool all in the top of the balloon at about 35 meters high and there and hoops between 80 and 90 degrees so the balloon is actually. all they're off and. once the balloon is filled with air it's ready to go but entering the basket this way is not how i expected to begin this adventure. here if. the special panel is built on the sides for cooking and serving prevent guests from simply climbing into the basket. ventura. the climb goes smoothly and i am slowly getting my bearings.
1:43 pm
and surely comes a small space on the side of the balloon to cook and prepare the food as i watch or i can't help but wonder one thing we need to experience her 3rd in a restaurant ok yes but i could tell you this is the restaurant the most wonderful do what is the biggest challenge cooking up here the time. and use of the time timing is a challenge because i have to listen to the chief pilots and we need to go to a. before the sun goes down into the mine has been combining ballooning in dining for 17 years she's one of 2 master female shops in the netherlands so we're about to have the 1st course. the 1st course is 2 parts it's the caramelized carrot with the hair uncovered and the current should be in some flowers this for you. very savory q so it is not every day that you get to eat in the world
1:44 pm
only hot air balloon restaurant we are cruising now at about $500.00 metres above ground and angelica is going to be serving up a 3 course meal and of course everything is very well prepared in advance preparation is certainly the key. and julie brings down the cooking containers that were simmering inside the hot air balloon the emphasis here is on slow cooking. so. very very often and the slowly cooking means that all the deuce and all the texture stays in the face. this is the sound of feeling with roasted red pepper in them bloody of a source. like this basket is 3 metres long by one metre 60 wide so there is plenty of space you could even lie down if you wanted to but it has room for up to 9 people so i am definitely not alone here.
1:45 pm
all. the custom built counter above the basket gives the chef extra cooking space it's compact yet well equipped has anything ever gone wrong or fallen overboard. with maybe a tal's from. this gourmet flight costs $415.00 euro as per person. once the final course is served there's time to take in the sunset but this also means that we will be landing soon. to. look out for lenny spoke for the flood another 15 minutes and. then the balloon what are we learning disability told to the rope thinking is a little bit and just let it happen on the ground before going and leave to you so
