a skyline dominated by skyscrapers and high rises at present the 172 meter ground tower and the 190 meters on the other tallest buildings in this metropolis on the river my. paycheck. is the director of the duchess i should take to a museum piece following the city's development since the 1970 s. the acceptance among germans for living in a skyscraper has not been great because the high rises you could live in or mostly subsidized housing benefit so they were in quarters on the outskirts where you'd rather not go that's been changing in the past 10 to 15 years since people realized you can also live in high rises at the upper end of the scale. the grand tower is germany's tallest residential building and it sets new standards the penthouse apartment sold for over 8000000 euro speech. real estate agent.
7:48 am
has noticed another trend. what's great is that all different kinds of people are moving into the grand tower from old to young from career starters to retirees and what else is appealing is the 24 hour concierge plus the garden roof terrace and the sunset terrace it's a kind of community living that's a very highly appreciated. the omni is what's known as a mixed use tower most of the building is devoted to offices and public spaces only the central part with the distinctive hips or staggered floors is reserved for private residences. and i live here in the army to come on and i'll show you around 26 year old me who works in real estate he's glad to be living in frankfurt. this apartment is a little dream come true i've always. been interested in the idea of living in

a highrise. my favorite spot you can enjoy the view both night and day in the. highlight of the for me is the architecture. for an apartment in the middle of town to have a balcony is pretty unusual. because what i really appreciate is that i've got the only apartment in the tower with the daylight at the time it was the main reason i picked this apartment. but it has its price he pays around $2700.00 euros a month for his 65 square meters on the 17th floor. the tallest residential buildings in all of europe are currently. in moscow the highest of which rises 345 meters with a swimming pool a fitness center and

7:53 am
each of us is going to be given the brief to create architecture for dogs instead of humans and it's not about making houses now of course pacific in the brief it was about trying to express yourself the scale of the dog and so what's really interesting about it the creative tools how to get sharp and that's with it and where to start to see things from a different perspective and see how the dog sees the world the concept for the exhibition came from japanese designer kenya. in 2012 it went around the world only now arriving in europe every design was created for a specific breed of dog. created a piece for a jack russell and a jack russell terrier is particularly fond of his or her own as scent the idea is that it's a frame which you can put your own clothes on and the dog will feel comfortable.
7:54 am
titled this design i see you it's intended for dogs with black cloak. the idea is that it's the dog is able to camouflage itself amongst a kind of black background it's made from sheep's wool the whole thing has a smell of delicious smell to the dog which attracts it initially and the shape you can see starts in the ground and lifts up which in this curved the idea is that kind of resigned. the way the dog discovers the world around it maybe the way it sees is by smelling the ground and slowly looks up to discover what's surface in front of. it didn't really camouflage church with her light colored fur but she's got plenty more pieces to discover and lots of fellow canines to get acquainted with. it's about more than seeing and sniffing it's more than an exhibition
7:55 am
it's really a global project whereby people can interact by downloading versions of the pieces which are exhibited and make them themselves we upload them and they are then shared via social media and they're also in the architecture of a dog's website something which is truly global. their design combined with humorous ideas equals fun for darts and their pet humans too you should probably stay hot diggity dog. and did you see anything that appeals to you louis. well i take that as a yes and with that we wrap up another show but don't forget to follow us on facebook or go to our website for this week's draw and we would like to know which dish is the most popular in your country send us in your answers and by doing so you could become the proud owner of
