that's entirely legitimate, the police do a very important jobs for, but that's not what we're talking about here. it's about wanting to limit the ability of citizens, including journalists to report to police violence. the government says it wants to protect the police from public abuse. but opponents say the new bill as a drift towards repressive government is good on their own candidate, created a bill that would forbid us from filming at a time when we are filming unbelievable things. so here i am in the streets for my freedom, as you can see, written on my mask of weakness. and when i ask if i normally more concern for me, a law like this is not normal. if this law passes, it would mean that people like the poor guy from the video. i mean, if it hadn't been filmed, he'd be in jail, would you make the same page if you need this video galvanized the opposition. 3 police officers in paris beat up a black man, a music producer in his own studio,

several tens of thousands of years and several years in jail. let's talk about the proposed security law that along with the officers behavior has angered protesters . of course, what's the rationale behind it? have there been major instances of public abuse of police officers? well, there has not been one major incident incidents actually lately, but it's just a general trend because if you look at the figures provided by the police and the number of police officers on active duty that were injured, it has almost doubled within 15 years in 2019. that number reached about 7400 people, but this is also clearly a strategy by the government to appeal to right wing voters. the next presidential elections will happen in 2022. so just 2 years from now, and iraq or the president is trying to capture the votes of those who could

otherwise maybe vote for the other candidate that might get through to the 2nd round of fighting. and that's marine le pen from the far right. what will happen next? how likely is it that this law will be passed into force by the french senate? well, the french senate can either, you know, agree to that law in its current form. and then it might be in try and know really or it actually can say, we don't agree with the current form that the law will have to go to the national assembly. actually, the senate doesn't have the last word on this. however, the government seems to be acknowledging that there's a lot of business opposition and has now put implies a special commission that will come up with a possible amendments of the law. so it looks like the last word is not spoken yet as to how this might look like off it might be dropped actually the solution, paris for us really appreciate it. lisa, a new wave of rocket attacks launched from ethiopia's northern to grey region has

4:11 pm
tall object as vanished state officials have confirmed that the object disappeared at some point late last week, though they say they don't know who or what may have removed it. erin tilton has been following this story for us. erin: so what is this thing and where did it go? well, to both those questions, we don't know and we don't know. i mean, this object appeared earlier in the month and of course it led a lot of people. i mean just look at it. think about 2001, a space odyssey the famous movie from stanley kubrick, where a monolith was discovered in the desert and put there by aliens. now when it comes to this thing, as you were saying, there are a lot of different theories. some people are saying it's no mas to 2001, other people are saying it's a prank. and still others are saying it's an art installation, something that a sculpture hid out in the desert to be discovered and then talked about by the world. but right now, we really don't know who or what is actual response of the creation the monolith, any plausible theories on who made it. well,
4:12 pm
it seems now if you look at most of the evidence, it was most likely not necessarily a prank, but maybe a sculpture, an art installation. some people however, saying that it could have also been a prop from a movie that was left over. this area of this, the utah desert has been used to film many different t.v. series and movies in the past. and we know, based on satellite photos of the region that the object was originally erected somewhere around 201520160 at the time a science fiction. do you series by the name of west? what was being filmed at the time? the desert? so maybe it was left over problems from that, that's what some people are saying, but it really does seem to be most likely an art installation. now, there is a tradition in the united states of sculptures, highlighting sculptures like this big slabs of steel or concrete, somewhere in the desert in the hopes that someone will find them later as a way to kind of add a little bit of mystery to their art so i do think that's what we're looking at here, but we really don't know. you know, you, i'm sure you've been musing about this and you have your own theories and what you think. well, like i said, personally, i was, i guess i would love it to have
4:13 pm
a connection 2001. i would love to have a connection to extra terrestrials or aliens somehow, but that's probably not the case. i mean, when this came up, there were a bunch of artists who actually said, you know, i know some people who may have been responsible in doing something like this. maybe this is like a banksy style art project. and you know, this disappeared without a trace that adds to the mystery and you have to remember one reason an artist might not actually want to come out and claim this is, this was put on public land. and that was technically make it a crime in the united states. you can't create an art installation on public land without getting permission from the u.s. government. so i really do think all signs point to art, but you know, you never know and it's probably likely then as a result of that last point, no one's going to come out in the next couple weeks and say, hey, this was the beginning of our publicity stunt, well, you know, never say never, but it would surprise me if they actually did do it because you know, at the end of the day, if this is a bit of art, if this is something like, you know, like guerilla art, then they want to create this mystery around, that's part of the fun, both for the artists and the people enjoying this sculpture at home. so i don't

necessarily think you'd see any claims of responsibility in the coming weeks or months, but you know, time will tell. aaron tilton, thanks so much. thank you. in boxing the so-called battle of the ages between mike tyson and roy jones, jr, did none. packing much of a punch. the exhibition on saturday night between the over 50 boxers was ruled a draw. tyson was the aggressor during the bout and was in control the entire way. but jones did a great job staying away from tyson's punch-out power. the 54 year old tyson said he'd like to fight again after going 8 rounds. with joe, it's a massive fireball lit up the skies of western japan. in the early hours of sunday morning, cameras in several regions caught a glimpse of a meteor descending towards the earth, and then exploding in a brilliant flash of light. a witness in the city of mussar yama said,

off of envy heads an all female writing troupe. it's one of only 13 female teams in the country, which has more than $5000.00 men's groups. the women are rehearsing for an upcoming fantasia ahead. they will be the only women's team among $46.00 at the event. what the equestrians have to focus on in this sport is not just the interaction of the horses riders and their movements, but the rifles to offer his team is not get properly synchronized. some of the women are riding with the group for the 1st time. when i say sit,

you can do you ahead the who says have to be in line now again and you just did it look, sit then the rifle, then the greeting. not want to writers to be especially well prepared for the upcoming fantasia and the young women want to prove that they can perform the just as well as the men here. now the biggest challenge is just being accepted. there are people who don't want women to participate and look on what they think that goes to stay at home and take care of household chores instead of riding horses. because that's a man's things that we're allowed to do, not claim she'll do it all because that's not true. any good ocean may have. on the

do about and this has worked on the partner and to right from her father dead meat and be in morocco. it's traditional to pass on the art of fantasia writing from generation to generation operas. father himself still writes in a troop of a lot. afra went to fantasia's with me when she was a little child that she wanted to ride. and so i put her on a horse and she rode 400 meters of them you've made. and then she wanted to ride on her own that she's been addicted to it ever since. but we had the video while she rode as a child. yes. and later she became a troop leader. she found other women and then got a hold of a tent. one day i told her the petard is not a good idea, but she said it was

a minor fault. so what could i do? i can't stop her anymore. meanwhile, he's grown proud of his daughter's achievements. and of that nowadays you often see women writing in a fantasia was recently i got a call from an organizer in a small village. he wanted effort to participate with a troop of the 1st visitors, found it very strange to see women writing another one. and now that's changed over in fact, people are often more interested in watching when a woman's team is writing with the thought. well, i would think you were a cool robots, the moroccan capital. the bazaar in the old town is a visible reflection of the country today. a mixture of modern vibrancy and traditionalism opera and our friend belong to

it, but they've started to get used to. the idea is a little give 1st because they realize how much i love olson in the fantasia. i don't look at the house after santa arrives and see the concept, the place where our progress, the to pay a visit to a local tailor makes their traditional costumes for the upcoming fantasia of attempt to fail. this is your outfit. something very special to say i love that the pants shouldn't be too tight so i can get on the who's easily. oh, how long will it take them on top of the national? get ready very soon. i think then he invests. i have a lot of outfits months a lot and exactly the same fate. this is what i plan to wear and 1st of fantasia

i have many other and this committee for each and tasia i go to the tailor and have a new custom made that they wanted. people have never seen me when members were in and out. and indeed, that's very important for me. as when a nest the costumes are called jalopy as long opulent robes with hoods that are traditionally worn in the magreb region of northern africa. historically, these garments were made for nobility. only later did the jalopy become popular clothing for the general public and it took time for it to become acceptable attire for women as well. to limit god, no rocking women have come a long way and reached levels that we wanted them to reach. not american women can now write whose's in its traditional outfit. this is truly a source of much pride for our country. how do you

not allow their wives to ride anymore. but they via facebook and instagram. i found other women and built my current time and all when there's a fantasia coming up, i call them and they say, yes, you will soon find out whether office new team is ready for the big show. in a few hours, the women will be setting off for the fantasia, for santa however, the dream could be over. she's had a cold for a few days now and feels weak and tired. and i don't know if i can be in the show, at least i could be your notice. if any of you need bandages or flowers, even if they are. i hope no one falls off very well. if they don't exist, we'll sign up be able to ride the more women who take part, the more impressive their performance. and that's those we

trip to the fantasia of the illness. a lot of people don't want us to participate. they try to stop us. so then a woman is not supposed to be in a writing arena. that is out there as a society is changing. but since we started writing, it hasn't changed enough, as has just now, there are always people who criticize us from some women have given female riding a bad reputation for their actions. so our, we would like to change that specially since we're human nature. we want to make a good impression, you are so that society except since no humans rajan becomes a man of the moon and you just goes to a lot of trouble for her hobby to do well. it's only with the help of her parents and her job.
