democratic party again in 2020 for those so this is one of the main takeaways is the other very important message he sent out here in orlando was that i am he said i am not to going to start a new party and by that he kind of keeps the republican party hostage because that means that he won't disappear. now sea-tac is a gathering of the most conservative wing of the republican party that's a friendly crowd for donald trump how big is their influence on the party as a whole. indeed this is normally a place where rather conservative republicans come together to debate the new ideas and it's also kind of a barometer to find out who the next presidential candidate will be this crowd here
12:04 am
absolutely. supports donald trump they want him to run again so there is no doubt this is like a home run for him here in orlando because the trump is trying to assert his domination of the republican party will they be able to maintain a dominant role. he will by just doing what he it did today only by saying i will stay in the game he just reclaimed his position as republican policy leader by insinuating that he might run again in 2024 and as for now are the republican leaders like mitch mcconnell and even like form of vice president pence they are not really strong enough. and brave enough to turn their back on him they fear that all the trump supporters might leave the republican party might not vote at all and they need those millions to will ever be

able again to ridden the white house. how divided is the republican party at the moment. it is hard to say because many many republicans are really afraid to criticize donald trump openly because we see what happened to those for example who voted for his impeachment but if you talk to insiders if you talk of the record to republican party members and party leaders there are many who really criticize the style of donald trump and they would like nothing more but it's moving away from them and really starting a new possibility of a new way of dealing of doing politics. in this poll at sea-tac in orlando many thanks. in myanmar security

12:32 am
you guys when i come through raf today we have something rather special for you your new 2nd generation. one of the latest electric cars and one of the very few hydrogen cars and when it comes to range and fast refueling nothing can beat it says toyota so let's check it out. so is this the future of. electric cars. if you want to you can lead to a coffee on the streets. design wise things have drastically changed in the 2nd generation as you can see for yourself and definitely for the better if you asked me nothing really reminds you of the well kind of ugly looking spaceship the mirai was before now we've got this nice
12:33 am
looking front to split the headlights not sure if i like those maybe one single unit would have looked better but in the side profile you've got this nice looking almost like roof line and then at the back here the only strip that goes all the railroad and i really like the design kind of reminds me of i don't know maybe meets already a 7 sport spec class b.m.w. at sirius trying to play looks nice. despite the new sporty looks toyota managed to lower the base price but they're almost $5.00 metre long hydrogen flagship down to under $64000.00 euro's. in here you've got pretty much all the space you could ask for very roomy and confident the leather seats well they feel very nice i like it you've got the nice big center console way
12:34 am
it can put you on to rest and well in the 1st generation the interior looked a tad too futuristic if you ask me in here you have got the more classic layout of the nighest stream behind the searing wheel and the big touchscreen plus the separate climate control or you could ask for let's check out the back. well. at the back. you can already see things not so spacious anymore i mean i'm only one meter 70 so i can fit pretty much anywhere but if you are bigger than your let's say japanese engine you know them well i mean like room is fine but could be a little bit more you can feel in here that the engine if they needed some of the space for all the electronics and the tanks at the back especially here in this center tunnel you can see how huge and massive that is so although toyota says that
12:35 am
is a 5 seater i don't really see 5 adults sitting in here but what's pretty much if you look at the armrest you've got this little control center here so when you're sitting here you can control the temperature change the tracks and well if you're not too big of a quite good time back you well let's check out the trunk then. just as with the back seat the same can be said here it's not the most spacious 450 liters capacity could be better but ok it is what it is because the engineers also here knew that the space for the electronics and the 3 tanks. so driving the pretty much feels like driving any other electric car you get in
12:36 am
turn the car on and off you go there is no need to adjust to anything because at the end of the day the. is just another electric car only difference being it doesn't store the electricity it needs in a big better read but instead it produces the energy it needs while driving in the fuel cell now although the 2nd generation will give you 182 holes because by no means a sports car so. you don't need to expect acceleration times of like a test no. 0 to 100 kilometers per hour or takes are on mine point 2 seconds and the top speed is limited to 175 kilometers per hour so those numbers are comparable to those of the 1st generation but still this one feels different you could say. it's a little bit more refined i would say whereas in the 1st generation you could really hear some pounds and compressor was working this one is really silent the only
12:37 am
thing you sometimes can hear is maybe a little hissing sound coming from the fuel cell in the front but i mean as soon as you turn on the radio you won't even notice that and if you combine the silence in here together with the little stiffer bodywork then the almost 5050 weight ratio well all that makes up for a pretty chill and relaxing right. now toyota didn't just change the design they wanted bigger range and more power and for that they needed more space so that's why the car compared to the 1st generation is so much bigger now the tech back then was just revolutionary as it is today you've got your fuel cell you've got an electric engine the fuel gets fed with hydrogen and produces energy that will make the electric engine spin and off
12:38 am
you go at the end the only thing that's left emission is water which is pretty nice not to change the whole layout of the engine and the tanks the electric engine now sits at the rear of the car so we've got rear wheel drive on top of that they improved the fuel cell which now sits at the front of the car plus we've now got 3 instead of 2 i'd written fuel things that all saw sit at the rear of the car and together they will perish 5.6 kilograms of hydrogen fuel and that is enough to reach ranges of up to 650 kilometers which is quite a lot before we had 500 but i mean compared to better electric vehicles around that many that can go that far.
12:39 am
now the real strength about hydrogen cars is no question refueling because with battery electric cars you oftentimes have to wait hours or at least 4530 minutes at the supercharger to keep on going here you just take the hydrogen pistol just like in your normal combustion car put it on wait for 5 minutes the whole thing is done you can go for another 650 kilometers pretty nice now there is of course one problem and that is the amount of hydrogen fuel stations now today there are more than the 14 fuel stations from 2015 right now about 100 but i mean come on 100 stations in the whole of the whole of germany compared to the a 1000 or $10000.00 petrol stations that peanuts now the distribution of those $100.00 hydrogen stations is quite ok so in germany you pretty much can go
12:40 am
anywhere but to get to the next station you will have to drive for some time as it won't be right around the corner of. the original expansion plan in germany invision 405 region with fueling stations by 2023 however due to the slow pace of expansion it's doubtful this target can be reached in the next 2 years. one reason is certainly the low demand due to few new the registered fuel cell cars. the new mariah could be the hydrogen car that leads to a breakthrough. so as i said nice thing about hydrogen is long ranges from. refueling and no emissions well besides water and normally the get rid of it by emitting waterway but if you
12:41 am
want to you can quite literally let your car on the streets and that by just pressing this part. which is obviously quite nice if you want to avoid having bigger puddles in your garage another can be found inside the infotainment stream as a set for the future to work it needs hydrogen and air that is coming from the front of the car and now because during the process the air will get filled it will get out of the exhaust after the process even cleaner than when it entered which is crazy when you think about and you can even see that inside the engine for tame and screen so basically. driving the car you will clean the year around you which is. nice i guess.
12:42 am
so to sum it up is this the future of electric cars well i don't really know but the rise certainly shows that you don't need bigger and bigger better ease to reach higher ranges and when it comes to fast recharging or in this case refueling times when we're talking about electric cars nothing really beats hydrogen now would. certainly yes if i often had to drive long distances and don't want to spend my time waiting for the car to recharge now if i only needed the car for short commutes well maybe then a smaller car with a smaller bettery might be the better choice now why wouldn't i buy me right well probably because i need a lot of space in the trunk and stood there aren't that many hydrogen fuel stations in germany but hopefully that will change in the future. the ugly
12:43 am
duckling has become a beautiful swan and the 2nd generation mariah has just about everything it takes to help fuel cells make a breakthrough. what's missing are more hydrogen filling stations and hydrogen produced from renewable sources for it to become a true 0 emissions be a cold. i am on effects of our gut and 6 times guinness world record holder in thai just parking and today i would like to explain your something about snow chains and in that way we have prepared it even for the tesla and we try to find a tesla for snow chains but there is no available. i so we have
12:44 am
to use real chains on a real electric and by the way this is my very own tesla model 3 performance always drive 500 h.p. and i would show you what it is capable of even without chains. now i am in the car with you and would like to show you a very special feature about $3011.00 and $3.00 performance and that is actually the trick so you can see here you can adjust the trick more because they can have a front more in the remote so that means these 2 more those it seems like that you can separate them if you do really like lead we will see but actually with the slider i can see really agree with this line i can see from the bridge right if it is really in detail and that we would see when we look in that little graphic here
12:45 am
because there we can see where the pole is really transmitted that's what included in the in the 1st part of it i have put it in the form. because it means 100 percent to the front let's see what the individual a tire supply is. as you can see it's going on all 4 tires. so that means the 4 wheel drive it's not a 100 percent to the front that means it's not the front we're going to now we do it to $5050.00 and see what happens. on the real time the spinning wheel. slip means it is already transferring power to the rear end a little bit to the front 100 percent to the rear. and still when the car comes into a dynamic situation they get support from the front. so it's not always set they do
12:46 am
100 percent in the real situation so it is more of a truck make terrain so that needs you can define how much you try to go to the rio or you raise a probability that a lot is going to the real a lot is going to the front. there is actually what the system can. pick out is at least trying to deliver cost to the front or to the rear depending on the slide off. and the moment we are and you it. will it be. so it was a major just the car. so now we change it. completely to the front that see what happens and steering into the corner of the cars washing out to the front. and now
12:47 am
last check. we do it into the center and have a look. at one thing and now it's not. and the whole system all to a cab behaves quite neutral. i can't keep it with a lie straight slighty closing hearing we're. neighborhood in a trip. to that is one of the reasons why i bought the car because i like the way it is believed to give the driver the choice. today we want to talk about snow chains and when to put them and where to put them i would decide in the tesla it's a 4 wheel drive car in that case i would decide to anyway put it on the front if
12:48 am
the traction is to bet maybe put to each side on the area so that we have all 4 tires and was best tractions when it's the right moment to actually put them on when you look at the saw face deep snow of course could be one argument or when you have real proper ice then snow chains make sense please remember there is a speed limit related to a small change that means maximum 50 in your route this company says only 40 so always have a deeper look into the regulations and into that what the manufacturer is telling so usually they're always a little wobbly but in that case they're quite simple to install it sold please read the manual when you do that. oh it's. on the right side and that nothing. damages your tire or your room or your we're holes.
12:49 am
