a passionate car lover from austria recreate the from scratch cars from hollywood movies and they get away to the canary island of gran canaria for an taste of their unique greasy. but we start off the show with a little spring in our step irish dancing or irish step dancing has a long history and tradition on the emerald island now you may be familiar with it thanks to shows like river dance all the movements are similar to fast tap dancing where the feet and legs do much of the work but the arms remain still the music is also generally traditional folk tunes but one group of young irishman is looking to bring irish dancing into the modern day and age.

skilled irish dance with a modern twist in breathtaking location that's the recipe for the success of the irish dance company. there might not be enough they're not. irish for friends and these 7 friends are ethan quinten ronan o'connell francis fallon seamus morrison brian culligan steven mcguinness sandara kelly. well irish does it is what we do just want to show the rest of the world how good irish dancing can be especially when paired with modern music we're trying to bring it forward to a new audience and really show like what ireland can do what we can do to irish dance as part of the national culture hard to choreograph to trending pop songs instead of celtic to us and we're relaxed outfits instead of tailored uniforms for their modern performances our unique blend of john rose. what we're trying to do is fuse jazz down saying tap dancing even hip hop with our own irish dancing to try
5:33 am
and elevate a modernized irish dancing and really taken to a whole new level. it may look straightforward and nimble footed and up but it's the result of years of hard training all 7. started dancing at a very young age some have known each other for years from the country's dance competitions they learn the variations and techniques of irish stands almost from day one. irish dancing shoes are made of leather and they also have a cape that is made out of ceramic and heel that is made out of plastic and using these 2 pieces we can make a variety of different beat so you can make a click like that or you can make a sort of a more toadying be with your toe. they

got the group together in 2020 but then the pandemic hit and i couldn't perform live so they began producing videos and posting them on the chick talk social media site. yeah we do try to make our videos look as spontaneous and it was possible but really years of work is going to what we do takes over 15 years. just the center that we write history see other. can often take 2 or 3 days to choreograph just a very short video. the dance company have their breakthrough and aug 2020 with this video we've got almost 90000000 views and make social media sensation overnight. our lives changed dramatically from the moment. we began to get recognized by some people in the streets we. read every newspaper every local radio stations really wanted to talk with the

5:37 am
a journey lasting several years. you wait for a week or 2 weeks nothing couples but then within a few seconds everything changes and suddenly the sky explodes. it is one of the most exciting things i've ever experienced in my life. my name is sun sorcha i'm a danish photographer i photograph starting memory since some very fascinated by the shapes that make in the sky. the magic usually happens when the flock of starlings is attacked by birds of prey. as a defense mechanism they create these very organic shapes like these black waves going
5:38 am
through the flock and actually happen so quickly that you don't even realize sometimes what you've seen. the free sland region in the north of the netherlands photographers' evans i guy has travelled here from denmark for his project black sun. i've worked in 6 different countries so far and so i do a lot of research to find out where the birds are. all i can do this research and turn up and then hope for the best. i've been out probably a 120 days in the last 4 years and i've probably had between 5 and 10 very good nights. i saw starting memory since when i was a little kid my parents took me to the west coast that much when i was 10 that was
5:39 am
an image that never left me really. then i did portraits. i suddenly it came to me that i wanted to go back to see those starlings and try to photograph them. continues to make fortresses well he's taken photos of celebrities like amy winehouse. the white stripes. and. has really been my specialty something that i've been pretty obsessed with i've completed it's 5 different books of portraits of mainly famous people. that i've been. doing for a while it's very different it's nature. it's very humbling in
5:40 am
a way it's. hard to museum of contemporary art in a danish city hanging is now showing his photos in a major exhibition. move one single bird in photoshop in this project. its nature. its nature at its most surreal. these matter moments occur by themselves in major. originally you seem to me to hike a rainbow plan to exhibits like has photos of danish pop stars but the pictures of the black sun series made such an impression on him that he changed his plan we know what's going on we can explain it and at the same time we see something which is so incredibly beautiful that it is difficult to comprehend.
5:41 am
susans i guess plan to spend one week with the starlings turned into a 4 year project. every picture is totally different i have not in 4 years experienced the same most have twice. so that gives me a great incentive to keep going and i'm far from done with this project i think i will keep going for a few more years. time now for a blast from the past and fans of the 1980 s. t.v. show knight rider may recognize this car well this is the high tech talking trans-am kit which always came to the rescue when its driver got in trouble well one man in australia is keeping kids spirit alive by recreating it and other hollywood movie cars. monson hums mission in life is to resurrect
