skilled irish dance with a modern twist in breathtaking locations but that's the recipe for the success of the irish dance company. there might not be you know they're not. irish for friends and the 7 friends are ethan quinten ronan o'connell frances fallon seamus morrison brian culligan stephen mcguinness sandara kelly. is what we do just want to show the rest of the world how good irish dancing can be especially when paired with modern music we're trying to bring it forward to a new audience and really show like what ireland can do and what we can do. irish dance as part of the national culture hard to choreograph to trending pop songs instead of celtic tune and we're relaxed outfits instead of tailored uniforms there
10:33 am
are modern performances our unique blend of john rhodes. what we're trying to do is fuse jazz dancing tap dancing even hip hop with our own irish dancing to try and elevate a modern life or something and really taken to a whole new level. it may look straightforward and simple to put it in up but it's the result of years apart training also. and started dancing at a very young age some have known each other for years from the country's dance competitions they learn the variations and techniques of irish stands almost from day one. irish dancing shoes are made out of leather and they also have a tape that is made out of ceramic that is made out of plastic and using these 2 pieces we can make a variety of different beat so you can make a click like that or you can make a sort of a more toadying be with your toe. they

got the group together in 2020 but then the pandemic hit and they couldn't perform live so they began producing videos and posting them on the tick tock social media site. yeah we do try to make our videos look as spontaneous and it was possible but really years of work is going to what we do takes over 15 years. just the center that we've run a series together and can often take 2 or 3 days to choreograph just a very short video. the dance company had their breakthrough and august 2020 with this video it got almost 90000000 views and made social media sensation overnight. our lives changed like dramatically from there to talk to we began to get recognized by some people in the

10:37 am
giant creatures or even abstract paintings in the sky well what started out as a temporary project for this photographer has turned into a journey lasting several years. you wait for a week or 2 weeks nothing. but then within a few seconds everything changes and suddenly the sky explodes. it is one of the most exciting things i've ever experienced in my life. my name is sun sorcha i'm a danish photographer i photograph starting memory since some very fascinated by the shapes that make in the sky. the magic usually happens when the flock of starlings is attacked by birds of prey.
10:38 am
as a defense mechanism they create bees very organic shapes like these black waves going through the flock and actually it happens so quickly that you don't even realize sometimes what you've seen. the. difference land region in the north of the netherlands photographers in zeiger has travelled here from denmark for his project black sun. i've worked in 6 different countries so far and so i do a lot of research to find out where the birds are. all i can do this research and turn up and then hope for the best. i've been out probably 120 days in the last 4 years and i probably had between 5 and 10 very good nights.
10:39 am
so starting memory since when i was a little kid my parents took me to the west coast of that mark when i was 10 that was an image that never left me really and then i did portraits for 25 years. i suddenly it came to me that i wanted to go back to to see those starlings and try to photograph them. and continues to make for treats as well. taking photos of celebrities like anyone else. i doubt. the white stripes. and bjork. has really been my specialty and something that i've been pretty obsessed with. i've completed it's 5 different books of portraits of mainly famous people the new
10:40 am
project. that i've been. doing now for a while it's very different it's nature and. it's very humbling in a way it's. the heart to museum of contemporary art in the danish city hanging is now showing his photos in a major exhibition. i haven't moved one single bird in photoshop in this project. its nature. and its nature at its most surreal. these magic moments occur by themselves in the church. originally you seem to rector hard to remember plan to exhibits like us photos of danish pop stars but the pictures of the black sun series made such an impression on him that he changed his plan we know what's going on we can explain it and at the same time
10:41 am
we see something which is so incredibly beautiful that it is difficult to comprehend how. zoom has planned to spend one week with the starlings turned into a 4 year project. every picture is totally different i have not in 4 years experienced the same motive twice. so that gives me a great incentive to keep going and i'm far from done with this project i think i will keep going for a few more years. time now for a blast from the past and fans of the 1980 s. t.v. show knight rider may recognize this car. well this is the high tech talking trans-am kit which always came to the rescue when its driver got in trouble well

one man in austria is keeping kids spirit alive by recreating its and other hollywood movie cars. mountain hans mission in life is to resurrect cars the right film or t.v. history and put them back into action he pushes his rep the current kids to its limits just like david hasselhoff did in the night by the t.v. series and he takes his the original ice charger for a spin near his hometown crawfish low austria. true to its name because even cause a few good figures on ice in the 8th part of the fast and furious movie series it took months in han about 4 years working by hand to replicate the bottom of the you know it's hard to spot any difference to the jet turbine powered vehicle that overtake everything and in the batman movie of 1909. was obama because you know when you're driving a film car it's like
