which may be had been behind some of these it's just that in addition few people who are getting vaccinated to be auditing vaccinated up trying because this is because the government just also a nationalist dissent decline because it's bought at a higher price so dull that are getting vaccinated to be adults are quite who can afford to pay for that scene and this once again but push behind those who cannot afford it. now michel we do know that india is a major producer of vaccines and yet it's still struggling to ramp up vaccine production for its own population what is the reason for that. and i am actually dicks i am alive and here to explain the indian that meant white being pulled out of the fact that is a production may have been to lead back policing it's all those some of them was one of the some of the biggest orders actually went out in january and this is full

more powerful they worry these gains could be lost after foreign troops leave. so harley zada is very proud she's had a job for 2 years now the 40 year old works at a tailor shop for women in afghanistan carrying out a profession is a privilege one that many are denied. the feeling i'm so incredibly happy and also grateful that i'm allowed to work here i've learned tailoring here and i've gained self-confidence and i can earn money that means i can help support my family and i don't know the. son who works here at the tailors 5 days a week. the shops are a lot like azimi open their business 3 years ago she employs 38 women there are no men working in her shop. i wanted to show everyone that women can do just as much as men that's why i opened my tailor's shop it was important for me to prove that
8:10 am
women can work and that they're independent and that they can add something to society. she's achieved just that over the past 3 years her shop's been a success but now she's worried what will happen here after the international troops withdraw from afghanistan and the taliban possibly return to power. that of course is a business owner i'm afraid of what could happen only women work here we all remember the dark days of the taliban we know that when they were in power women had no rights and weren't allowed to work in a profession like face. working here is help many women in the region like her coworker serena her husband's income wasn't enough to support the whole family thanks to zareen as wages the family can get by now. but other than that sit on the i'm grateful that i can support my family but of

school that is not the case because there have been reports and there's been substantial reports that that is not the case so and and this is this this extreme shari'a. style of living has not been the case within that within the past 20 years enough in afghanistan to not consider so that is of course alarming to everybody because as they start leaving the troops are starting to leave today it's you wonder whether we go back fall back to taliban era again and even worse because of all of this these other extremist groups as well. and now in your opinion what are the most important examples of progress made over the past 20 years and what do you believe should be the way forward to prevent serve what's been achieved. there has been a 1st as far as progress is concerned every asked every and every aspect of the
8:14 am
society there has been progress whether it's been in the political arena in education system let's not forget that afghanistan the population of afghanistan is i think 6364 percent of the population is under 27 years old this is a very young population so most of these people just generation have been born either during the taliban regime or right after post taliban and these are the ones that have really made a lot of progress and of course the the ministers and their women ministers and civil society business women that have opened doors for these young younger generations makes a huge difference now if you if you if you talk about. if you talk about how how do how it should be in the future well i think that if the if even if they come let's say worst case scenario they come in and the take over the government let's protect the constitution or canister because the constitution of afghanistan and the clauses that protect women and minorities should not be touched and that is
