and suffered many other chronic conditions. dependent on his wife, diana, and medical support to stay alive. in a life he no longer wanted to live. it real. you're gonna, you're gonna over me, i suffer with my illnesses and i suffered to see my family suffer for me. terminally ill patients have been allowed to die by euthanasia, in columbia since 1997. but euthanasia clinics turned down. victor escobar because he was not close to death. he fought for 2 years to be allowed to receive euthanasia, legally. and last july, columbia supreme court changed those rules, sat between his wife and his lawyer before he began the procedure. he hoped that his death would help others and all you go review was managed to do this so that
