seem that thousands of people are trying to escape pretty much everybody, but some people were told or trying to return and understand. you actually have a friend who tried to go back. yeah, my girlfriend, she didn't find her parents in the seat and she couldn't find the way how to vacate them with them all in tears. because as you know, there is no minutes there and how and no corey dories, nothing for people to advocate. so she decided to go there on her own and try to find her parents and them. unfortunately, i have no connection with her for 3 or 4 days already, so i don't know where she is right now. but i hope that she managed to find her parents and get them out of the out of it help. and we hope so too. of course. listen, the city, as we've been saying is being shelled, non stop, much lies and ruined. i think

facing disciplinary action after slapping comedian chris rock for making jokes on stage about smith, 2nd wife during the ceremony on sunday night. thank you. and for more on this let's go to ron. so it's like beto who is an entertainment journalist in washington d. c. thanks for joining us. run say will smith has resigned from the motion picture academy where the slap is this an attempt to head off more serious penalties? do you think? in many ways it does seem that way, i think frankly blunted the impact of whatever might come in the future. so yes, i would, i would agree that that's what that's what's happening right now. and do you think he's sort of got the academy out of an awkward situation by resigning sort of preemptively and anticipating a possible, you know, dismissal? possibly. possibly it's, it's unclear what it would look like for that. i mean, who knows what they can do to him now he's no longer a member,
11:12 am
but he says that he is open to whatever actions become. and so if they do take actions, it's interesting. see how, how that, how that will play out. so possibly they can see that he can not actually rejoin the academy for x amount of years, but it's at this point, we don't know, we still have to win the see. do you think there's a possibility that this was somehow negotiated with the academy beforehand and possibly with chris rock and there's a, there's a play is a screen plato all this rehabilitation somehow that was so i do know that will smith met with the academy early this week so of course multiple reports, there was a 30 minute call between will smith and the leadership at the academy and he supposedly apologize and said that he was open to whatever action they decided to go with. but i don't think chris rock is involved. chris rock has said that he hasn't report said that they haven't spoken to each other. so i don't think chris

rock is in any way involved, but it's not far fetched to think that he teams when we can meet early this week. and just to come back to l. smith, i mean shortly after the slap he won an oscar. so is he just sort of taking his ball and leaving it 30 minutes after the slab of he p one. the ask is lacking chords reports. the academy was trying to decide how to respond to it. and by the time, you know, you know, the kind of figure out their options, he won the award so they were kind of left out with no options. so taking his ball even i think would be to retire and which i don't, i don't think that's what this is. he's just no part of the academy, which means he can only vote. and nominees, i am probably can no longer be nominated. but beyond that, i don't think that will be taking his ball and leading on his career. ok, run to think better journalists in washington, d. c. thank you for that insight. thank you so much tougher sports and some
