a career or the idea of going pro or semi pro was never the focus wrong in focused visa. oh, interesting, something's wrong. she had fun playing football and my wife and i supported her in that industry. if she goes a week without kicking a ball, it doesn't do any good. she needs it to be in a good see progress. but it's not always fun. as a girl, playing football m a regularly had to fight against prejudice. no, her family helped her through those times with you over the negative with and she's had some negative experiences of being rejected by coaches for example, or fighting a way into a boys teams. and then not being accepted by the players advised them from image and respected to when um there were some hard moment sure how to which she also

emma takes a few personal items with her to cologne. in particular, she wants to bring a photo of her family. miss been was, does he say young been, i really am very young madame and i am very grateful. just because cologne really didn't have to take me onto their system water and really looking forward to it is close to time. ah, some 50000 fans are in attendance full cologne's season opener. a totally new experience for emma to be a journalist soon. i'm a lot. good about leon. she's the youngest player in the senior squad. made what was wrong for you. oh, they do with an indescribable one goes to unbelievable that this is happening,
3:23 am
beth as well, rather than. i'm still grants not to be here. and it's incredible how many people were there. was a level, i've never seen such a huge crier eyes. i am a little bit overwhelmed by my emotions. oh yeah, i wouldn't know why this is emma's new life. the cologne squad is getting ready for the new season. the club was keen to bring her in and made contact with her family early on to secure her signature in the future. she said to play an important role in sasha glasses. teen valence. as one for we met emma 2 years ago. she was just 13. then we were so convinced of her talent, we decided that it wasn't too soon for her, but she was in good hands with the boys team on domains rollover. so and this is
3:24 am
the right time for her to switch from boys football to the women's team. we know it's still early, she's 15 and we'll build her up gradually. we've brought her into the 1st of isn't a squad because she's proved herself in her training sessions with those in finance . and now we'll bring a through with caution. remember with the law, we wanted to put her in the 1st team squad because we believe she has the talent. and we think the training will help her on the theaters planning definitely. there's lots to get used to with new exercises and more intensive sessions. but with good communication before it feels good in her new team, then largest and much because you're not having fun, it's harder to motivate yourself, is to train hard and do extra training. an excellent. so to me, and if you are having fun, it makes it so much easier to make it bake eventually. that's also what will make it easier for me and for how to swing sophia. unfortunately, sometimes i feel that i am putting myself under a bit more pressure to do it, but that feeling helps me to keep my feet on the ground. and that would be the one
3:25 am
that had to come for now, emma only does one session per day because the 15 year old is also still at school . learning alongside a pro football career isn't always easy, but it's an important part of her new life. time rises tense. i think it sometimes it is really stressful because i have to go straight from school to training to measure from the shorter so i don't always really get that much time for my sal fall so much more relatively aside from iowa. but i know that school will also be an important part of my future. sure. and not necessarily what i'm doing right now, but my qualifications fully it's called us was muffled in richmond. up for my aim is to do the final exams and then study at university internationally ansuka. and i'm sure i will need that in the course of my life. and so it's totally worth doing because there are no guarantees about what i'm doing right now. and the

opportunities that i currently have explicitly meant as was near mint, gimlet, aunt will through is will to learn more mankato lucas cut novel time off with her friend and teammate live. it is important far away from family. so paranoid as if it's me, it's totally new not to have them there. 247 will model. so of course i get a bit homesick sometimes does ish challenge my home. we hobble my so does not that i feel it all day long and had but before i go to sleep at night, when i'm tired or just generally really shattered fetish been on down, it can be like that with us. when you're exhausted, thoughts come into your head there and if we aren't always great live. so yeah i, i do feel a little homesick, but it's not like it affects me all day about. and i still love my family very much and from italy, shortly before the start of the season cologne have a friendly match against i acts in in shadow. emma is in the squad,
3:27 am
although she doesn't know if she'll make her debut for the team. she starts the match on the bench. who is it? it's an exciting game with chances for both sides. but as the 2nd half kicks off, am i still waiting for her opportunity? in the 83rd minutes her moment finally arrives. i had to look across and saw the assistance coach marolla looking through her notes and you, i was the only one who could still come on. so i thought it might be happening. and so, you know, kind come closer to the ocean missing. and when she finally called me, i was so happy that she gave me all of these instructions and i tried to pull them out on the page. yeah. movie benson and rosen duties is that often lots of times

mildred with emma get stuck in. she plays with carriage and shows her talent with it's not enough to help cologne to victory though the match vanishes as a nil nil drawer. concert as bask much there was one. it was something new to with the speed and physicality of la mancha. but i think i just have to learn to assert myself and deal with it all. and i'm going to come on staff and i'm excited about that for sure. as i hope i get another chance to play for the 1st team. soon. as a young girl, emma are played boys and battled against prejudice. now at just 15,

welcome to another edition of max with me. your house. meghan lee has a look at what else we've got coming up on today's show. we follow our to you traverse allison and eric has the eat their way through italy. and we find out what if hunger is famous to kind wine it sweetness. whenever i take a bath, i love to fill up the tub with lots and lots of bubbles. and simply think into this fluffy foam or one german artist thought potential in these foamy forms. and she decided to develop the idea on a bigger scale. stephanie learning now creates giant installations with flowing, colorful bubbles, but her works last only as long as the bubbles were hold up. well, we caught up with her for her latest work in paris.
3:32 am
ah, the square in front of the santa won't be due in paris is covered with millions of colorful soap bubbles. this piece of art is called island of foam, and it's the work of stephanie learning. even she, i'm stephanie learning and i work with colored phone because i'm fascinated by hopefulness. so temporary. and yet in 2011 the artist was taking a bath when she suddenly came up with the idea of turning foam into art. this foam is 95 per cent water, 4 per cent food coloring, and one per cent biodegradable dishwashing liquid what i was showing fast. and yet what fascinates me about found it had been is how lively and moldable it is. is dustin how it has no solid outer boundaries and especially how you can color it. i think i have stephanie learning is bubbling over with creative ideas from whole
3:33 am
buildings, to empty factory, home one and public spaces. her 3 d works of art are taking the world by storm one. now what a sin, i'm glad to have the chance to work with colored film. so i guess it's so voluminous. and so it lends the color a spatial dimension. and of course time plays a role here to one of my because my art is never done as if it's created. you can watch it forming, growing and changing, and then watch it disappear again. it's never done. what's happening here. the artist is preparing things for the afternoon. the 1st step is to mix the food coloring into hot water. she needs 600 leaders of colored water for her film art, or about 3 bathtubs of it. yeah, and i did it. yeah, i grew up in communist east germany, i was 11 when the berlin wall fell, apparently grew up improvising condo that gave me the strive to invent things,
3:34 am
try them out, combine and new ways, or we purpose them. i think it's incredibly exciting to make your own creation out of them. that's money that i was thinking of last month. the equipment stephanie learning uses for her foam are as inventive to i'm gonna blow we're, we've got blue, red and yellow. and basically the fluids in here are lost and it comes out here and runs into this garden mixing unit i, bree purposed it, and i put in the 3 colors here. then i can turn the colors on it off. if i mix blue and yellow, i get green, of course. and then basically, green coloring runs through here and, and is split between the 2 pipes from the tree pumps 2 houses go directly up to these 2 phone machines. stephanie leanings, foam installation as being presented at the ne blash art festival in paris. but is it a real art more just fun with colors? well, you might think it's silly at 1st, but it is quite beautiful. and sometimes art is just beautiful. so this might also
3:35 am
be art, art that's free for every one de la. o meg, i'd too much because i do think it's odd because it triggers emotions. it makes you want to dive into the foe. it's joyful, it definitely has an impact on news, unfair, unassailable gum closes. on the one hand, it's art, it's very pretty and it draws people in it's good. on the other hand, i still think it's wasteful. what's the point of it? exactly said exactly. oh, most people. yeah, i think art can also be humorous. i don't think the one rolls out. the other dish was he spoke with stephanie learning has enjoyed showcasing her work in paris and even hands out parts of it to her enthusiastic audience at the end even for free, i feel good about how it went and i'm glad the equipment worked. everything went fine and the winds calm down a bit busy. i think it turned out to be
3:36 am
a beautiful mess. so of a one and stephanie learning and her team also app to make sure the mass completely disappears again once her presentation comes to an end. but all it takes is some water from a garden hose, and the colorful island of foam is gone. traveling through europe by car is a dream for many tourists who come here for a visit. but 2 american, you 2 birds have taken on and even bare challenge there visiting sites here in, in electric camper van. now we have been following their journey on your o max. and we've already seen some of the highlights as well of some of the difficulties that they have encountered along the way from germany to italy will to day their adventure continues along the italian riviera where they are forced to leave their even behind. ah,
3:37 am
good morning. good morning, allison and eric again, we have arrived at the 5 lans, also known as to what they were here, and it is beautiful. i guess it's so beautiful. ah, we're taking a break from the caper band today, mainly because cars are not allowed in the city. it's called the 5 lands, but it's actually more about the 5 villages in the area. and they're super unique because they're all carved into the cliffside. they're made up of these incredibly colorful buildings. they are so picturesque and they sit right next to the sea. so you have this christine, blue, water, complimenting all the cultural buildings in the villages. it's beautiful. so the plan today is to visit each of the 5 villages, but also eat some local dishes along the way. all right, another perfect and delicious day in italy starts right now.
3:38 am

3:39 am
a 4th option. the best option, the option that we're doing, and that is the train because it cuts through all of these hills and takes about 4 minutes to get in between each town instead of an hour or so with wow, for like those stairs were never going to him oh yeah, he kept going like round one corner and you couldn't really see and you turn one and be like, oh my god of that double left would have already done. but our restaurant is conveniently located right at the top of the stairs with this is pasco pasta. think with tara is actually part of a bigger region called luxurious and pesto was invented here. and it's on all sorts
3:40 am
of different pastors and lasagna on bruschetta. it's in on all the things here. to be honest, i was actually more excited about this see best ravioli now, man. it just plato dang delicious. mm. wow. that is very, very good. it hits your tongue. it's a flavor explosion. so cheesy and buttery and just packed full of flavor. i'm a huge fan of the sea bass ravioli. come here. you guys made it to the southern most village. real majority. yeah, but we got who this is. another thing is region is actually known for. they have very good catching it's actually delicious. and you guys know the doe itself is the star of a couch. i mean, obviously the ingredients are delicious, but just so soft and pillowy. then you have all this oil cake on the top. now it is
3:41 am
a lot like pizza, but just basically thicker. what an awesome spot. he forgot you. check it out. ah, finally, you have got to catch the sunset from one of the cities we chose mineral as the final city. we haven't seen you guys, but we're here. it's awesome because you still have new to the city of there at sunset over there. amazing company right here. oh to oh, wonderful, wonderful day. we're about to hit the road. we only have a 100 kilometers range because we weren't able to charge here. we kept tripping the breaker. that will probably last for 50 kilometers. yeah. because you have to drive up to get over to the mountains and air. stay tuned for our next episode in the series to see if were stranded on the side the road an arc. amazing electric vehicle. i. well let's hope they make it. normally when i order wine from a restaurant, it's from france or italy,

or occasionally from california. but if i'm looking for a special dessert wine, it helps to look further east towards hungary, the toe chi region of the country is known for its wine of the same name. it's typically golden and sweet and was once the favorite of kings and queens across europe. but what you may not realize about tokai wine is that it gets its sweet character from rotten grapes. ah, so this is we'll try these, this paper, columbia looking for and also the boatright. this itself can be seen over there. and here as well as it's developing the body, but mostly need to become as concentrated as it can be. i would say that we would wait a little bit more so that we can produce higher quality. it is

a very hires because if he gets rainy, then we can lose all the vineyards of tow chi and northeastern hungary produce a wine that has been the stuff of legends for centuries, pope's kings and royal dynasties have all raved about this extraordinary sweet wine, tokai it's really difficult to put it into this, but we are creating something solid. so we are creating a unique wine specialties or i sing that is something big. it was the wine of kings and the king of wines to french king louis the 14th german poet. johan both gang from good. her was also a fan, as was russian empress catherine the great with some 5500

hector is under cultivation. this wine region is relatively small. the history behind it though is much bigger. the dagon failed families, wine estate is part of it. mattie taught has managed it since 1994. continuing a 150 year old family tradition is very important for us to keep the traditional a wines the t, the traditional technology, the cloudy tional varieties on the traditional set up, but also introduce all the modern technology which became available of the sensors in the ninety's typically the tow chi hills is the morning fog. this type of climate creates the ideal conditions for this wine. the dampness rising from nearby rivers and the generally mild temperature is of autumn favour that boatright has fungus or noble wrought infecting the grapes. this is mobar

up and not drop. there is a huge difference between because of the but try these other grapes a gets concentrated and the crazy increases day by day if the bus right is it can grow. so this is something that is good and we are waiting for it. no other wine or great harvest demands as much work as the tow chi every grape has to be picked individually because the po tried us ripens at different times. the grapes don't all swivel down to raise and like us who berries at once. and the boat try this service to golden, the goin dominion, and the piggy assholes. and then we, they, then we pick again and again. so usually we can go through the st times, depending on the vintage usa. later that the concentrated g set, the sweet acid grapes will be mixed with a base wine and poured into wooden barrels for aging. a unique feature of the regions wine cellar is, is.
