that countries, again reiterated last year at last year's corp and, and that has causing quite a stir here at call today. what's in the use proposal and how likely will other countries agree to it? here. so we're talking here about a proposal on so called loss and damage. that is the idea that rich develop countries should compensate the most vulnerable countries developing countries for the consequences of climate change, which they are bearing the brunt of and to which they really haven't contributed much in terms of emissions. and the u. s. has like other rich countries, like the u. s. has in the last decades been against compensating poor countries because they were afraid of, of a liability of being held liable for billions of dollars. and this is the 1st time that the u has opened up and put forward a proposal that they would be in favor of establishing

a fund here at cob this year to put together money to then distribute to developing countries. and we've seen in the latest draft put forward by the cup presidency here that this seems to be the case in the draft that is putting forward that this year's cop would establish the funding that the details would be hashed out next year. but there are still some tricky issues at hand here, which countries are going to be held to have to contribute to this fund, the u once china and other rich countries, india, brazil, to also contribute these countries. on the other hand, especially china, do still want to be considered in the developing sphere. and so it's going to be hard to try to hash out the details in terms of who gives the money and who receives it. got it, and is a d w's. julius l deli, there in shallow shake watering over a very dynamic situation. millions of people in ukraine or without power,
