there were countries like china that her try to present amendments to that claim to block that fact finding mission. but in the end the resolution passed with the fact finding mission. so it can be seen as a good day for german foreign policy in particular, if you're judged by german priorities on this matter. so now with that, that has remained and how could this fact finding mission actually work without having people there on the ground in iran? it is certainly see now as the main challenge, how to implement that fact finding mission. it is seen 1st and foremost as a step towards accountability and away, which that can happen if you're judged by what has been discussed in the un human rights council is by supporting, for instance, the job that is already being done by the un special rapport term on the situation of human rights in iran. but beyond that, it is clear that this is an important challenge. how this will go from the words that we saw today from the resolution that we saw today to actually bringing those

facts about potential human rights violations in iran. in particular, when you look at, for example, some of the countries that were against that including not surprisingly, iran, the radiant authors already saying that they wouldn't allow such a fact finding mission. so there will be challenges moving forward. but all in all, it is an important step towards finding accountability. and that's the way that german authorities have also presented this move. and looking more closely at germany's role in finding accountability to think germany has more leverage to support demonstrators and iran, especially the women who are out in the streets. well, this is one example of how germany could have a leverage. for example, in these kinds of international fora. and it's also something that, by the way, seen here in german streets, i've been covering several approaches in support of those were protesting in iran. and one of the arguments that had been presented during those protests here in germany. was specifically for this fact finding mission. so i do see that the move
