survey. if i'm reading this right ranked their current situation better than in the previous month, that has to be good news, right? how optimistic should we be? but is good news indeed. and what we see this month is that both expectations and the assessment of the current situation have improved and that the change compared to the a months. this is good news, mostly driven, i suppose by the a declining likelihood of a gas rationing scenario. despite the cold weather recently and something else we seen the data is using supply bottlenecks. so a month ago, 60 percent of our manufacturing firms told us they have problems with the supply chains. now it's 50, so it's clearly getting bedtime that contributes to the optimism. at the same time, we know that some of the major industrial players across germany are heavy users of

gas and energy. in general, we're thinking of the chemical industry. we're thinking of steel producers. could the situation still be difficult for them and that weigh heavily on the economy? these are big employers, for example, the yes, the energy intensive sectors have major difficulties. they have cut their production and that continues to be a problem. even the gas supply situation, it is unlikely we'll have a rationing scenario, but not entirely excluded. a lot will depend on how temperatures are through the winter and how private households and companies adjust. so these industries may still get into difficulties in the medium term, but the question for these industries is the will they remain in germany? so there is also a medium tom question here. if they do not stay in germany, there will be loss of jobs and that will hit a german growth post prospects. but that's more a question for the medium tom situation that we're seeing right now. to what extent is that driven by an improvement in the market situation?
