palace of the republic was torn down, and architects were invited to submit their ideas for the new building. the design put forward by italian architect franklin. stella was chosen. the outward appearance stuck closely to the broke original, but the facade on the eastern side was a modern building. in june 2012, the work finally got under way. the federal government contributed 590000000 euros a further 100000000 euros for reconstructing the baroque facades, was raised through donations. 9 years later, it was complete. in the summer of 2021, the humboldt form opened to visitors from all over the world. with the humboldt forum has many exhibitions i've chosen to visit the ethno logical
