rush of like 6 leads will probably also not be particularly highlighted. i suppose that this is the, you know, that causes t c o, a pollutants regime. this idea of the crime is forever wash and nothing can happen there in one sees that you printing strikes of tripping away and the rushing might there and doing it well. i would say on a pretty regular basis, how could ukrainian missiles, even strike such an important russian target to well look, it is probably best to ask someone who is the specialist and how does besides operate ball my suspicion? the steps in previous weeks of separately, russian hill, defense batteries were eliminate seeing the crime in the region by the printing stripes. at least one. i think it's fairly well documented. it's probably the most modem. i have defense complex that the russians have

libya. she joins us now from to an us run of those images, no less. so bring after 2 weeks, the floods displaced tens of thousands of people. how is your agency planning to support these communities? to thank you. good afternoon. um these images that i just heard are all too familiar for us. the you and hcr as an organization has been responding since the onset of the floods. we've immediately dispatched humanitarian assistance and we continue to do so since september a few days after the flights. and we've already started to conduct protection monitoring by going and visiting these families. so in addition to the quarterly items hygiene kids generators, rubber hose, all the material assistance that either the local authorities require or the families that have survived these floods are receiving from you. and hcr, we're also now working with our local partners on protection monitoring household

visits, talking to these individuals and trying to provide them with other types of services, like psycho social support or referrals to other service providers to get the assistance that they read that they require at the moment. so there's you clearly creating a situation where they can personally lean on you and i need to have to remind you the extent of the devastation is enormous. do you find you need to employ a extraordinary strategies to ensure that aid reaches the effective residents of during the, in nearby towns. and indeed, you don't need to remind me, we're uh, our teams are completely dispatched and on the ground we are reinforcing the existing capacity in been ozzy with other colleagues. in fact, tonight, we have an additional team of colleagues from tripoli flying to been as they were also receiving support from our regional office. if you and hcr is very familiar

with these types of contexts, we are in a humanitarian agency. we operate unfortunately in times of crisis in times of emergencies, whether it's conflict induced or natural disasters. so we have a lot of safeguards in place to ensure what we call accountability to the affected populations. what we call post distribution monitoring to ensure that those who really need the assistance are receiving the assistance to support our partners on the grounds to provide what we call needs assessment so that the assistance is really needed by the individuals as opposed to wasting resources. and providing them items that they don't need. so everything that i've highlighted right now is in action in the eastern parts of libya, not just in there now, but also in the neighboring, excuse me, cities that have been affected by the flood. i'm curious how if at all is the challenging political situation in libya, making your mission harder. the you and hcr is operating

not to witness the rubble of the physical infrastructure. it's another to listen to these individual stories. so this is the type of information that we use to influence our programs. and as i mentioned, we make sure that it gets to the people by being on the ground either as you and hcr or by supporting our local partners. got it. that is a run across the fee from you and hcr in libya and many thanks. thank you. i and finally, workers and cruise capital lima have discovered an ancient burial site. their crew were digging a ditch when they on earth 8. mamma 5 remains along with other artifacts taught to be around a 1000 years old archaeologist. believe this site is most likely a children cemetery from pre ink and cultures. we will end it there. you're watching dw news line from berlin. he's a reminder of our top story. ukraine's military science bit carried out
