when the zeros there, they are as, as their members and their children, and that they will go to the different cities across the west bank. now it's really just as ministry it has that i defy $300.00 post indian prisoners as slated for lease. many of them, a teenage boys and women, what kind of offences other being helpful this like the 300 or women and teenagers and they, they, they were many of them. they were sentenced for short times, the think of some of them they were sentenced for 12 years or even more like it was an annual for a man from susan as well. she stay, i'm guess i'm on the 300. she was 14, she was arrested. and now she's 16. they were and they are. i mean these were you like using them of attempting to attacks. i mean, this is where it is a soldiers in,
3:16 pm
in interested in how they have families reacting to beverly. so their families are happy and, and, and then, and that's for, is that the safe, the soul is that and in different interviews with the local media and or of media as well. and they said that they are happy and they are thing for $2.00. and this is what they said, and i'm sort of a, this, this feeling is not easy for them because you know, this, this worth cost was very, very high and, and the number of this, so in those us red raised over 12 or 1500 uh, thousands of people killed in guns and now today is the 1st day of that sees 5 have you been in touch with your contacts and guys or how if people reacting their yes, i talked to this 2 different people in garza from different cities where they're in
3:17 pm
the north and going to say to the north side and north and bar a town a bit to that he ordered your value as well as from the south. and today is a lead. the, the, the, the, some of them there was the 1st time they. and they were out of the house freely without hearing the compartment or the buzzing of the no air or the drones. as they say, there's no hoover or all of drones in garza city or in, in the south for i mean, garza city was 46 times according to this to the agreement. and many of them they are expecting that more food come into do bell is a thread. so they are able to survive with this war and it's food, the main thing that needs to get in well, yeah, i mean we have what, what into previously that through the aid we are talking about like food, water and, and medical supplies. these are the basic things, but uh,
3:18 pm
i mean guns are, they need more than this. they need electricity, they need drinking water. and what's it to come to the, to the does their taps people are working? i mean, or, and spending the day or for getting someone to from a different place is drinking water is very limited. facilities like is this in the nation, the treatment stations or so which was which was a oh so it wasteful into and the stations are not functioning properly and binds of trash. they need like the fuel for these drugs to, to be able and a couple that they, they, they think that they need the ceasefire complete ceasefire to take place and going just read how hold full of people that this temporary full day sees that will be extended a this is actually the whole all the people, the item to they think that this before they, uh,
3:19 pm
those is not enough for them off to 14, not 49 or 48 days of 05 spend ladies and a very bloody and hot and there is bathing uh for i think that is not enough. they think this is badly needed and they are hoping for that it's not sure if that going to happen. but that little statements saying from different parties that that might be extended. the journalist has them a better shot in amman for us the thank you very much. awesome. thank you. now for guys us to 1000000 plus residents, the truth space, some hope of the rest buy from weeks of sustained is really bombardment of shortages of basic supplies as we've just a and a fuel tank is in a trucks have now begun entering the gaza strip from egypt through the rough crossing egypt says 130000 feet as
3:20 pm
a diesel and full trucks of gas will be delivered daily to gaza. as well as 200 trucks of all the 8 is very the blockade of fuel has made it virtually impossible for hospitals and other basic services to operate inside the territory. and for more that spring and shine a lot low, she works within a region refugee council and is monitoring the developments from jerusalem. now how is this for the h was facilitating your work in gaza as well? our staff has been preparing for this and they are currently mobilizing to go out and reach communities, but we haven't been able to access. we've been managing 3 sites over the last number weeks, we've expanded that to 3 additional sites for internally displaced people. so we really are using the 1st day or 2 days to just go out and reach those communities and assess what the needs are so that we can allocate resources the best to, to,
3:21 pm
to reach to, to meet those needs. the big challenges that 4 days is nowhere near enough to uh, to provide really meaningful recovery efforts. after 7 weeks of possibilities, there is so much devastation and destruction that even the, the $200.00 e trucks that are slated to go in each day, or really just a drop in the ocean of what's needed to really meet, meet all the needs to write all of gaza, me now you are probably not allowed to go to know of in gaza, but you do have fox and organizations that how does that work? so the is really authority is declared that no international and g o is would be allowed into northern. 0 either the un will be sending a couple of convoys. my understanding is to go and help one of that got to wait patients from hospitals for in desperate need of,
3:22 pm
of medical care that's available in the north after the devastation on, on the hospital system there. and they secondly, will be able to go and provide aid a designated emergency shelters. but it's a very, very limited operations, but they will be permitted. and we really won't be able to determine how wide spread the needs are and what the needs are for the number of people that are remaining there. this is a, a problem in, in being able to provide a comprehensive response. and that's why we need a unrestricted access. that's right. all of the to provide aid and we need more days. we need to cease fire to turn from a temporary one to a permanent one in order to really be able to provide for the needs of the 2300000 palestinians who have been suffering for the last 7 weeks. now where are you allowed to distribute? we are allowed to distribute the south of the why the guys on line no one knows
3:23 pm
civilians other than the u. n. r. lab, north of warranty garza, the 6 sites that we are managing are all located in southern gaza. in, in alpha and in san eunice. and so that for now is where the bulk of our response efforts will be helping to, to care for the some of some of the $1700000.00 internally displaced persons. now the pause in fighting a might end before you even figure out how much human is there an aid is needed. what are you going to do about that? well, we're expecting a shipment of 10 trucks that have been donated by the european union of, of in kind of goods, tend mattresses of water filters and other other goods. and so we are in dissipating that those will arrive on sunday and will be able to distribute them. but again, we desperately need all parties to work towards a specific resolution of this, of this escalation. we need to be able to access all communities in gov,
3:24 pm
and we simply do need more time. if it's so difficult to to have communicate and study communication throughout garza and to have access in gaza that really uh 4 days is hardly enough for you. meant for a real concerted humanitarian response. trying to load that we see no legion pressure. g council. thank you very much. i thank you. among the hostages, held by moss and wildly expect it to be released today as a young girl, the october 7 turbo tax made her an open until the story has touched many people in israel and beyond who has been containing for her safer time. and today is a blessed day. this is abigail eda and she's just turned 4 years old on october 7th. middleton is miss thomas gunman killed her parents in the home of the girls, older brother and sister, hidden the closet and escaped capture. but as the guy was not so lucky,
3:25 pm
a relative spend weeks without hearing anything about to meanwhile advert go became a prominent face. and when the presumed hostages held by him, us the focus of this protest within israel. because the parents are dead, she was represented by others, or i'm representing too many names of the guys. friends of my son will also be they kidnapped together with his entire family. i have on clothes and sisters of my friends. we need them home now we need them home now to think about children who is the most we, they parents that somebody kids not shy by himself, like a baby like um, i know one of the spelling really broke. my heart is ivy guy who kidnapped by himself the kid her my bill and the kid in the pro. where are you sounds like guide?
3:26 pm
what she's doing now? where's all the kids? you know, i don't sleep. it's not, you know, i don't know if people understand that every is rarely to the parents of these kids . we don't sleep, it's nice. i work up in single words to advertise all these kids today. what's happened to them? this is wrong. of the gulf has a child's now to celebrate her birthday in freedom with a siblings, but not with the parents. while many others are still less behind waiting for the next round of negotiations. we can now speak to real estate. she's a trauma therapist and clinical psychologist in tel aviv. i was among the hostages of many children. abigail is one of them says she's only 4 years old and will face a very difficult with time. she has to learn that her parents were killed and the october 7 attacks were kind of support. can she actually get help? can you help such a job as well?
3:27 pm
i think that it is a real challenge and it is very important to, to create the conditions for safety and connection with the people that she knows and hopefully has a good connection with emotion and the other family members that are still alive and anything that can be done to, to support this process is really crucial. and i think that's the family of, of the guys and other children who were hopefully released today and will be released in the next few days. hopefully, their families will have the support of psychological services by psychologists and social workers who are change in treating trauma who can guide parents and the family members that are available. and then i think that's the case
3:28 pm
. whatever family members she has to be really attuned to, to her, tend to for verbal and non verbal expressions, to, to, to respect her taste for, for doing the same things and not on guard her with questions, to leave the space, silence between questions and see how she is dealing with this and tend to, to continue the convey that now she's 6 and it will take a while before she can be told. i am sure that the families will decided perfect. now it is to be expected that the hostages will suffer from post traumatic stress disorder. can you explain to us what that means as well? we don't know that everyone will, will, suffers from teach us the post traumatic stress disorder. but presumably many
3:29 pm
people will and i guess who, who, but a lot has to do with the resilience of each person and their nervous system. good in post traumatic stress disorder. awesome, the person feels very much alone with their site as so no one can understand what they are going to. and they may be hunted slight intrusive memories and images and sounds smells which can be easily triggered by any anything you know, in farms. and it's not necessarily predictable what may trigger them. they may feel, you know, a great need to withdraw from shut down to themselves. and this needs to be respected. and obviously this is going to affect functioning both socially and occupational the you know,
3:30 pm
any kind of functioning. and then people just need a lot of time and a lot of loving support by their families who should be guided in the process and worked with because they too are traumatized. it's not just a hostage returning, it's for whole family, the whole community. to some extent, the entire country is traumatized. talking about the entire country, the release of the 1st hostages. uh, the imminent release has created lots of media interest at the public. wants to know what happens, what can be done to ensure that really is touched as hostages will not be, believe it by the present or in a, in a calm environment's exactly. there is a real danger that, that some people from the media may homes, these people and you know, it's.
