welcome. we have been talking about global plastic pollution for a long time. how bad is this problem to thank you so much for the invitation and the problem as you showed h b, it's huge and it's growing. uh, as you said, the estimates of that are debt slash production codes. truthful by 2050 is no auction, it's taken. and uh, i've seen that you show the statistics about plastic ways, but that is really just the end of the life cycle. and i like us to think about upstream, who is producing plastique and who's profiting from it. and uh, for decade, the plastic industry industries spent millions uh, income painted and advertisements making us think that we could just recycle plastic waste. even if they knew that it was a mix, adding fact, if we look at the current crises is no actually steak and it will get

worse. not just in the environment, which is the most valuable part of plastic pollution. but also for human health. scientist for being finding my tra plastic in our bodies, you know, the major oregon are looking at. the latest findings are dot micro nano plastics that'd be filed in our lungs, in our blood amy dollar grades. and so we should not live just downstream. other ways to really adstream to tackle these uh, both environmental and health tries is to really stop it at the store starting up the top of plastic production. so obviously a real sense of urgency, but a world tracy to cub plastic waste sounds ambitious, was all the prospects of actually getting a deal done, and how enforceable would an international tracy be, as the stakes are high and end date is not an easy
