>> i have to agree to some extent. i would not say that scandals are distraction or i'm not trying to down play them, but, we have be paying equal attention to national debt, and out of control spending that is going on in the country, as we are to the scandals, government accountability office came out with their annual audit of federal government this year, and they said that the fiscal path we're on is unsustainable, it is an immediate threat right now, interest payments alone in my lifetime will be the driver of our national debt, we have president saying we don't have a spinning problem, we have a revenue problem or a health care problem. and to me that is a scandal. neil: i will say, this. one thing that concerns me is that washington cannot multitask. if you want to have hearings,
