it's in your interest to say this scandal if you want to call it that is phony because then u're giving more power to the irs would be it. >> absolutely. and part of what was going on here was that the white house was using the federal election commission to target a specific conservative group. it was the american issues project and now we find out that theederal election commission or people there were in touch with the woman at the ir who's overseeing the conservativ targeting within that agency. so, again, not only does it now smell bad at the irs. that stench is now moving from one government organization to another. d, again, how do you fight it off if you're in the white house today. you say --ou talk down to people and you belittle them and say there's nothing here. let me be clear as the president often always says. you don't know what you're talking about.
