it would be a disaster to have any other body influence, government see it as a way to gain power, i don't think it is so clear yet the obama administration embarked on that path. the multilateral instincts would move them in the direction ceding control to the itu or other u.n. agencies. that is what we have got to stop. stuart: it looks to me like putin won, he will not retreat, he will stand fast and firm, what do you say about that? >> he still wants to play for the whole enchilada. still wants the government in kiev, don't think he will be satisfied with just crimea.

they are at risk including nato members. stuart: do you think they want a more overt confrontation with russia? >> i think of the had a leader in the white house who could explain the strategic importance to us and our friends and allies in europe and if we had european with little bit more spine, the answer would be yes. but i have no faith this administration is prepared to undertake what is necessary to stop putin from achieving his objective. he has a high cards, he knows it iand obama is more worried about the collapse of obamacare in ukraine. stuart: would it make a difference it was said to go get the national tax which is ours? let them replace russian gas with our gas, wit without make h difference? >> absolutely. a huge swing, it would be great
