they would welcome us not being the leader of the world or the soldier protecting the world. that the u.s. should let someone else do it and be a citizen of the world. and i would imagine welcome developments like this. what do you think of that? >> is and that what america stands for? why do we break away from england? we wanted to be free and it makes me just crazy. i look at these news stories and i just don't understand why we think this way. i believe the best thing for us to do right now would be to change the way we tax and also our belief system just as you said. instead of hiking minimum wage, let the factory owners pay the workers what they need to survive. because a lot of them would be glad to earn some dollars and i think the bottom line that it is that belief system.

>> it is really despicable. you make a good point about the low numbers come the 1.6 million out of 75 million workers on minimum wage. and this has become so much larger than it has to be. but the bigger point is why is the united states of america are doing about minimum wage when there's a greater picture here. and poor households might have three people. there are large complicated households in two or three people working, making $7 per hour, let's say three. you take that and take one of them out, you have to making 10, the household loses out.
