7:04 pm
to change? >> well, of course, isis is listening to us, and watching what we are doing, and analyzing the speed of what we are doing, they understand we are not going after them in the area they occupied. they have divideed their strategy into whatever they can blend, mosul and sunni areas, they will blend, whatever they cannot blend they will try to hide from the strikes coming on to them in minority areas, they have ethnic cleanseed. ashley: i'v i've gone lookingt comes from mr. maliki, could you argue his sectarian approach, alienation of sunnis and kurds could be blamed for precipitating about what we're seeing? >> yes, and there is more, the sectarian approach of you know marginalizing sunni politicians and jailing some, bringing to other the to torture skph-rbingd

7:07 pm
invest in maliki and his pro-iranian -- we need to diversify, allow ourselves with kurds and yazidis, and find moderate sunnis and work with them, establish a wide corridor of moderates. not just subcontract iraq to pro iranians. >> and would you agree with the statements that are made time and again that the inaction with regard to syria created the vacuum that allowed isis to form, that of course it is you know 20/20 heine site was that -- hindsight was this made years ago. >> we wanted to engage iran, we didn't do much in syria, isis grew from syria to iraq, we subcontracted iraq to iran, yes, of course it has to do with the general reaction of washington's foreign policy, it has to change. >> have we underestimateed the power of isis.

7:17 pm
going to be but it projects where they are uit gives republicans hope, but republicans have to put a message forward, saying if you elect us, this specifically is what we'll do, republicans are looking at creating a budget that has common sense to it i think this is most important thing they can do. harry reid did not come up with a budget for something like, you know 4 years, and he just never let anyone in. harry reid has run the roach motel of the senate. bills go in but they never come out, 357 house bills went in not one of them got to the flash. floor, if republicans can get senate they start with a budget, they cut unnecessary things, they show they have the capacity, and the will to govern that is a starting points, but they need to put it out there before the election. ashley: you just mentioned, i was going to ask challenges that face g.o.p., did you a good job
7:18 pm
of outlining, that but we have a president who'll use that veto bill, or veto pen, probably quite lib ran rally. >> -- liberally. >> he can do certain things on the budget, he really cannot stop it, that is the role of the congress, the president will have do be a bystander when congress goes through, and puts a budget together that eliminates waste, fraud, and crony capitalism is that hurting real capitalism, we're losing a lot of middle class jobs because that administration has run a very different game from what most of us call free market kpapisthatwillism, it run -- th, it is running a chrono capitalism, i hope that republicans do not fall for trap of will sat thing, and call that reform, they have done it in the past, that is what has to stop. because it is not only
7:19 pm
inefficient but outrageous to the taxpayers. ashley: it has been interesting to read hillary clinton's comments, about the president's foreign policy decisions, and really put something distance between herself and the president, how much does that hurt the democratic party overall do you think? >> i think it hurts them, because, it shows there is clear division, it shows now her ambition is outweighing her hopes that that administration is successful, they have been very unifyed, admirably so, but i see the beginnings of the cracks in the armor, it does not bode well for democrats. ashley: all right governor mike huckabee thank you so for joining us we appreciate it. >> thank you, ashley. ashley: and tune in to huckabee on fox news channel, at saturday, and sunday night, 8 p.m. eastern. >> coming up, felons released into american society, a

7:26 pm
1400 of releases most were done, on a weekend. before sequestration. that meant attorneys were not available to review the cases, some cases were involving felons before they were released into the public, creating obstacles, the timing and fact so many were release add once, it was not explained to why that decision was made and two at highest levels you would think would have to be approved by were involved. >> what misinformation of provided to public and congress? >> well the associated press, originally broke the report in march of 2013, that 2000 illegal immigrant r-rp being released, napolitano, head of homeland security at the time said that was false, she said it was not thousands this report is a myth. and this is not true, but then 9 days later, they have a vice

7:28 pm
dollars to this agency it faces new crisis as we told it is in deep budget disarray and mismanage am. ashley: so, bottom line, this report is damning. and raises a lot of questions burke what will be the fallout? >> it is a good question, a lot of times when reports like this come forward, officials are not held accountable we heard time and again, whether scandals have occured and proven, why is this cfo, if she is to blame, why is she still in charge at i.c.e., and still cfo, who else would and should be held responsible for the shortfalls of the ig flaged in in report, we don't vatican ser -- we don't have the answers. ashley: lack of accountbility, sheryl at i ca-- thank you for , we'll be right back.

discuss this. is joe trippi. joe, i would like to be a fly on the wall, were you surprised at strong foreign policy criticism that hillary clinton leveled thaatthe had president in this w with the atlantic. >> no. not so. the criticism. she has always been to the right of obama, it is what cost her the nomination in 2008. the surprise for me is, that it does speak to there has been a big change in the democratic party in terms of where they were post-george w. bush. that underestimateing with the democratic party has cost her that nomination, i am not sure moving there and criticizeing the president now helps for her 2016 as much as she thinks, it helps her in general but it may get her a primary opponent.

there are people out there agitateing in the progressiveo t be wha what to do so. ashley: david axelrod, obama's former top advis add or, got up, knocking her for that. it is interesting, but, it may not be that helpful to hillary clinton. >> the axelrod tweet is sort of my points, she has the nomination essentially locked up right now, everyone is stepping back. although progressive wing keeps talking about it, this might be the kind of fuel, and the axelrod tweet, you might actually start -- i don't see it yet, but that is the risk, i don't think that risk of taking on sort of pointing differences with president hurts her, it puts republicans in position of saying in 2016, if only

has good -- i know republicans won't agree with this, but i think she separated out enough in her own right as a clinton to be able to push away from obama if she wants. ashley: this is early days, but any poll you see, any g.o.p. potential opponent, gets white washed in polls, hillary clinton is very strong at-this-point? >> but again, i think, ashley that is because she is already sort of separated in people's mind from obama. she fought him for presidency, he beat her, there is you know, yes she served as secretary of state, but, she is not you know she was not -- she was implementing his policy not her advice, i think that those polls reflect that people dodo not -- do not, viewers join at hip with obama, she does not have to separate from him, today at
7:37 pm
least, that is why i think that is a risk she did not need to take. ashley: we can't discount the impact of bill clinton as well, he campaigns for his wife. that could be a really ace up ththe sleeves as well? >> it done turn out so well in 2008, this is part of the thing, i think sometimes, you know we start looking at last war. look right now, i think she is positioned very well to win the democratic primary, all polls show, that at least so far, whoever the republicans put up she has a big lead on. i -- i think that this is -- it may have been to separate from obama, but i think right now it is not something she needs to do. ashley: joe trippi thank you so much. >> good to be with you. ashley: more bad news for obama administration, major insurers reporting a large drop off in
