meaning. lou: you conducted yours, what was the family's first question to you? >> first question, 8 days after the death, was doctor, did he suffer pain when he died? that is o commonly asked. in this instance, 6 bullets struck the young man. only one caused his death, that was a wound to the head, head and brain. but, in other question was, they knew he was shot, they wanted to know how many times, they had not been told for 8 days, that is a reason that fueled the distrust that the family had for governmental agencies. lou: you answered that. and it is 6 shots? >> 6 bullet struck.

-- the young man, and he did not have any pain once the bullet struck the head, he clapped and he was not in pain for suffering. lou: in our up on on the see -- autopsy, what did you find of greatest interest to the public who is concerned about the police department. conduct? response of the government. and governor on all sides. >> you know in a situation like this, the autopsy is like another piece of forensic evidence, there is one that the car, there is evidence from clothing, and evidence from the autopsy, then also different eyewitnesss with varying stories. the autopsy will show possible ways in which he was standing.

this story has to go to the prosecution, you know, people have to have faith that our justice system delivers for all, and i think that american justice sim historically, has -- system historically has done that, i have faith in the justice system in my community, you hear black people say there is a disproportional number of blacks and jail, and et cetera, i tell you, i live in the black community in washington, d.c., and sometimes, i think migrateest fear is -- greatest fear is other young black men, gang bangers, thugs. they are a threat to not only my community. my personal safety but in terms of retail, economy development. who will want to start a business there? for me, that is an important message to be delivered, that stuff has got to be condemned by black leadership in the way we saw shrarp to know d sharpton d.
