>> follow insiders on this. buying the stock. buy it. >> ooh, both like it. good stuff. that's it from "forbes on fox." have a wonderful weekend. thanks for watching. keep it right here. the number one business block continues with eric bolling in "cashin' in." isis -- ebola -- and americans focus on these big stories as a bigger danger as we approach the mid-term election. it's the economy. the obama administration seems to be in denial saying it's better than you think. we report the facts. you decide. plus -- >> what is a greater war than threat to peace, isis or america? >> america. >> america. >> america imperialism. >> oh, boy. america's so-called best minds at harvard showing ignorance. america the bigger threat than the isis. tell that to the families of the beheaded. plus, repeat that.

indigenous people's day. get ready. seattle renaming clutch is day, sound the siren, the p.c. police are running amok in the great northwest. "cashin' in" starts right now. hi, everyone. welcome to "cashin' in." our crew this week, wayne rogers, john thin honing, michelle fields and juan williams. welcome, everybody. here what the president says about the economy. >> by every economic measure, we are better off now than we were when i took office. >> no. really, mr. president. how about these economic measures. food stamp, up, gas and food prices up. the number of part-time jobs up, all not good. the labor participation rate down. median household income, down. the personal savings rate, down, also all not good. now, wayne, we hear a lot about ebola and the isis threats. how about the threat to capitalism? you're not hearing that from the white house. >> well, it's not really that,
3:32 am
the fact of the matter, starts and says, oh, every measure that you make of the economy, just totally wrong. i mean, i don't know why he's saying that. we know from the facts that the federal government gives us. there is, his own agency saying 65% of the work force, you know, which is employed then's in 2009, we're down 62% of it now -- that's five years later and five years of people working have shrunk. the number of people in the workforce. in addition to which you mentioned food stamps. there are more people on food stamps today, over 46 million people on food stamps today. 31 million people in 2009. in other words, during this period of time, the economy has gotten worse. why? because of government intervention. because of government policies. all of these things that they think about and they're saying, oh, everything is good. it's the exact opposite. >> right. michelle, there's a poll out that shows that what americans are really, truly concerned about. 34% say, you know what?
3:33 am
it's the economy. it's the jobs. james carville famous lip said, it's the economy stupid. this is what we should focus on as well, right? >> yeah. of course they're concerned about ebola and isis. what they're really concerned about, empty bank accounts. democrats continue to say, oh, the economy is doing fine, doing great. the labor participation rate is the lowest its been in 36 years. and a new poll out shows that only 24% of americans have confidence in president obama's economic policies and it's easy to see why. because obama's policies have not worked for the american people. >> all right. juan, 92 million people, americans, are not in the workforce. one in four young americans aren't working. how can he possibly, our president, possibly say by all economic measures everything's great? >> because it's true. i mean, unemployment's down. i don't think we've had unemployment in the 5% range in the last seven years. not only is unemployment down, consumer confidence is up. the stock market is breaking
3:34 am
records. i don't think there's anybody on >> because people have given up. >> hold on. let me -- it's already three against one. so let me just say -- i don't think there's anybody on this panel who hasn't made money off the stock market while obama's been in office. >> funny it's so funny. >> confidence is up, consumer confidence. this has ban time of great recovery from a great recession. >> juan -- >> and, hold on. >> guys, guys, lichbt. >> gm was saved. >> swann right. 1%, wealthy wall street people are doing better. no yes. >> yeah, look, i'm telling you -- >> however, hold on. guys. take this. talk about the middle class. people watching now, the people who, real america, are they better off? >> yes. >> they are better off. >> john -- >> white now the wages -- >> juan, can i get in a word here, please? wages are actually down under the president. not to mention that, inflation has gone up. $100 in 2008 when the president got elected is only worth about
3:35 am
$92 today. and you started the segment talking about obama saving capitalism. i don't think he know what's capitalism is. he always sees government playing a fundamental role in the economy, whether intervention, redistribution or control, that's why this recovery has been the slowest in modern economic times. >> and caution, prices of things go up. let me throw this back to you, juan, one second. president obama blames the media saying, it's the media's fault you're not hearing these, this good news data points i'm delivering. however, when you live to the white house, all you hear the ones that he likes. the ones about the stock market going up. you don't hear about the ones that matter to americans. food and energy prices going up as well. >> are you kidding me? wait a minute. oil production in this country is as high as its ever been. i don't think it's possible. think about it. we saved gm. not only are gas prices going down. >> can i correct you, juan? correct that. >> it's unbelievable. >> we have -- >> talking about -- >> gas prices are going down.
3:36 am
why? because we have a high of gats production. >> let me correct juan. >> more gas leases under this president and that is helping the economy. we, in fact, export now and produce more energy than we import. >> juan -- saving gm. the president often takes ed considerate for saving gm. >> it's true. >> taxpayers lost money on gm. we lost hundreds of billions of dollars on gm, and -- >> you're out of touch. you want to -- >> let me finish. >> no. >> we lost money on it. tell you, when the stock market that's going up, it's all b fault. going down, all the greedy bankers and hedge fund managers. take a little responsibility. >> jobs, we saved and auto industry and if you are going to look in the short term. >> we lost money. >> you are going to hurt america. >> hang in there, you two. you guy, fired up this morning. all right. michelle, talk about something that juan said. he said energy prices are going down. yeah, going down, but going down from some lofty numbers under president obama. in fact, under president obama, they're up almost 100%.
3:37 am
up about 85% since president obama took over. go ahead. >> and juan is happy because the stock market is doing well. well good job. round of applause for you, but what about the middle class americans? i'm glad president obama isic maing the rich richer, but middle class americans are suffering. 92 million people are not participating in the workforce. the average american who's graduating from college, $29,000 in debt, can't get marriage. delaying marriage because they have so much debt nap is not a good situation. maybe the rich folks are getting rich herb but middle class americans are suffering. >> wayne, last thought on this topic. >> well, i think michelle make as point when she says about people not getting married today because of the average age of a woman getting married was about 22. today it's about 27, and i know that because we are in the bridal business and it's a tough economy for the middle class and, juan, i don't understand why you selected, you're like

the president. you select the nice things that make it sound good, but the guy who doesn't have a job who's got to wake up in the morning and go to work and can't find a job, that's the guy we're worried about. >> leave it there. think about, wayne, in the bridal business. figure that out in the break. you can continue the conversation right now on qu twitter and facebook. you continue to be the powerful army in news we thank you and live to you. tweeted, we must get americans informed, educated and activated. and later in the show, wake up american. talk about the decline in culture from purple penguins to a tear wist getting a platform to attack the holy father. we need to wake up before political correctness destroys the country. if you agree go to my twitter feed and retweet that picture i just posted. and asking what's the bigger threat to world peace? isis or america? guess which ones these people
