cheryl: running out of time, options and money. an emergency euro group meeting on greece's financial future ending with no agreement today. greece calling the proposed draft, quote unreasonable and unacceptable. the country has less than two weeks before its current bailout package expires, not long after that before its cash runs out entirely. here with me terry sheffield "forbes" contributor, dan shaffer of shaffer asset management and lis wiehl fox news analyst and a freight friend. great to have you all here. dan, here is the question, who caves here, will it be the greeks or eurozone officials? >> i think it will be the greeks. it's a long shot. just the fact this euro is falling apart and could be the first step in the bridge that is just not working. they continually throw money against greece to help them and it is not working. they keep taking money out as

welfare state like we talked about before. people want to keep their benefits and continue to go more and more into debt. the european union will fall apart. >> negotiations between the freaks and permanent mans pretty much, the germans are in a much stronger position. the greeks are in a weaker position. in a negotiation who will crumble first? the person in the weaker position. that will be the greeks. >> look at -- cheryl: look at portugal, spain and ireland. they took bailouts and measures in and stuck to it. the greeks say they are too stuff. that's tough. >> i think as exit is more than the greeks actually caving. in 2011, 2012 there was worry there would be contagion if greece were to leave. there would be a domino. we don't have that risk as after as we do. greece is more isolated, more

likely to cave in my opinion. cheryl: we'll see if greeks show up on friday. speaking of showing up, president obama's ratings are not showing up. it has been stuck 46% for two weeks after rising in the wake of november elections. lis, to you first, he had so much, approval ratings looking pretty good after the november elections. he is taking a fall. >> some things have not gone right. we talked about greece. heard about isis beheadings, everything is going on. oil prices. everybody is in a panic. who will they blame? obamacare is out there. keep extending deadline. who will they blame? they will blame the president. >> if obamacare, people filing taxes getting nasty surprises with clawbacks as well. typically see a bump from the state of the union. we're distancing from that. cheryl: gas prices have been incredibly low. seen unemployment number.

>> well that is a fake number. we all know that. but he had the state of the union bump. that is just what he had. at this point there is really no policy i've been staying all along. where is his foreign policy? what is he doing about isis? he had the computer hacking summit and major leaders of companies did not show up. you're helping our country, i don't see any help going on in all different directionses. as lis said about the obamacare that is not going to help this country. but unemployment number he is out there touting how great the economy is doing? more people on welfare than have been in five or six years. i live in fairfield county. there are children don't have enough food. tell me where this country is doing so great. i would like to see it. >> employment number people are sick and tired. can't get out there anymore. cheryl: taking any jobs and jobs don't pay. story close to my heart. i've been following it.

dan, you mentioned hacking, i want to bring in something else that really broke today. this is really interesting. thieves made off get this, a billion dollars from global banks in largest breach to date. international hacking ring infiltrated more than 100 banks since end of 2013. here is how president obama characterized threat from cyber attacks in friday's interview with kara swisher. >> i wouldn't consider them acts of war but i would consider them acts of property damage, commercial theft, that are serious and whenever a criminal act like that is state-sponsored it's a problem. >> cyberterrorism that is what this is. they can go after -- we have the laws on the books. sometimes we don't have laws to prosecute these hackers. we do have these laws. if we can show, prosecution can show, government showed they scared a nation, they scared nations terrorizing people that is cyberterrorism. that can be prosecuted as and

more than just simple old theft. >> this fits the theme he is afraid to call it fundamentalism as well. this is consistent in his weakness to be honest. >> that is a huge threat. >> very big threat. cheryl: do you think he is being too light about the fact -- >> absolutely. cheryl: a billion bucks? >> there seems to be some type of collusion or whatever between the banks. how can the banks not know that this money was missing? how could they not know this hacker coming into their systems and money is being wired out? we're not talking small amounts of money. maybe money under the limit. the question is, if this is happening here and not just our country, it is 30 countries around the world. first of all whose money is it that they're taking? >> jpmorgan. >> number two, they have spent so much money on infrastructure to find out this hacking and people infiltrating their computer systems with these malwares are are their employees doing? getting emails with attachments.

oh gee i open the attachment and click it? where is this? >> interesting you said infrastructure. obama is so huge about infrastructure, he wants roads bridges things that don't produce jobs. we need cyber infrastructure. >> boeing into the employee -- >> yeah. >> just tip of the iceberg. cheryl: exactly. while he is playing golf all weekend. something else is happening in this economy. i want to bring this up, crude oil bumping up against a two-month high. up above 53 bucks, dan, believe it or not. a spike hitting gas across the country. three states have price below 2 bucks. idaho, montana. that's it, dan. what is going on? >> this is technical wave bump on waive theory or other theories. went quickly very fast. three-day weekend. short-covering holidays. a lot of people are out this week on vacation, schools are out. see what happens over next 30 days. my target is below 40.

to say it because what i think is missing from this we need to start, i'm eager to hear what the colonel has to say about this. we need to start looking at these countries and approaching different islamic countries saying here's the deal. if you don't do something about this, we're coming in to do it. because otherwise nothing is going to get done. we can see in egypt. there was a huge uprising one summer or one spring. they changed governments and nothing happened. now you have what, 19 coptic christians killed. there has to be a way to start forcing these governments -- cheryl: colonel peters they responded. that is my point. egyptians and jordanians and they're the ones that stepped in said enough is enough. we have on my. why don't we funnel not funnel hand it to the countries, got your back go in, isis is international terrorist threat. >> first of all it is a deplorable state of affairs when the president of egypt general al-sisi, who is a muslim has already done more to protect the

christian population and react to the threats against christians in the middle east than the president of the united states of america. who has not even issued a personal statement of sympathy for those, almost two dozen coptic christians killed. now as far as, getting the arabs off of the dime, they're getting off the dime. they're feeling threatened. the threat from the islamist state and other terrorist organizations affiliated with it, has spread so broadly, that the arab states are indeed worried but the problem is they're fractious there is no natural leader. without u.s. leadership, and that is the key even more important than money without u.s. leadership, it doesn't all come together. as long as the islamic state is unified in what it is wants to achieve. we're all over the map. cheryl: president obama doesn't even want to use the word terrorists here. we've done nothing but dow down to these guys, well, they're

criminals basically. what will we do with holder take them to the court system? what we're seeing in europe, you have the jewish state people that are jewish in europe that are running for their lives as well. they're, threatened. and we're doing nothing. >> i think colonel is hitting on something there. i'm alluding to get the countries motivated. they're motivated now. they're fearful but at the same time the colonel is absolutely right. we don't have an administration that even has a war plan. so how are these individuals these smaller countries, really they may have a military but i have trained people in some of these countries their military is not organized like ours. we're going to have to take a lead on a fight, if the fight is going to come about. cheryl: speaker john boehner was on "fox news sunday" yesterday. i want to play this for you guys. he came out and said enough is enough. listen to mr. boehner. >> we need a robust strategy to take on isil. no one has seen one from this white house yet. in addition to a robust strategy i think we need a robust

record low temperatures hit 3 degrees. the officially on the scale three degrees. but look no it felt a lot colder. that was earlier today. anyway coldest morning in manhattan we've seen in the last 11 years. there you go the hudson river frozen in parts. new york has nothing right now on new england. boston is digging itself out from another crippling snowstorm that dump ad foot of snow over the weekend. rick leventhal from fox news has been there all weekend. you've been braving worst of it, helping people out. how is it going rick? >> another news alert. a fox reporter is frozen in parts. this is ridiculous in south boston. this is what sidewalks look like. these people did a great job clearing off front steps and front sidewalk. the rest of this area is buried under seven 1/2 feet of snow fallen over past 3 1/2 weeks. they got another foot yesterday. plowedded streets numerous

times. they are in pretty bad shape. files like this one up and down every side street here in this neighborhood. they have had to turn the two-way streets into one-way streets because there just isn't anymore room to get through. some people apparently are using the snow piles as landing spots, jumping out of a window. mayor says please don't do that anymore. here is more. >> we have high winds low visibility and i just ask people to stay of at roads today. even if you're walking don't walk in the main streets pause, on our way from my house to city hall this morning, there was whiteout conditions alot of ways in a lot of roads. very, very dangerous out there today. >> the city has now plowed 278,000 miles of roadway. they have spent $35 million on snow removal. and there is another month of winter left, cheryl. there is another issue here dealing with. icicles and snow on rooftops. they're concerned about more

♪ ♪ cheryl: at long last the faa sketching out rules for commercial drones, and they didn't do the folks at amazon any favors. the new regulations stifling dreams of so-called delivery drones. amazon already responding ready to take their prime air business out of the united states. here to discuss, michael gore match, editor-in-chief -- gorman rob enderle and christina warren of mashable. christina, once again, a regulatory issue clamping down on business trying to be innovative. here we go again. >> another example of this. to be fair it's going to take some time for these regulations to go in place, and amazon was hoping to maybe with threatening to go elsewhere that they can get the faa to agree.

cheryl: rob, the faa is saying these rules are going to inspect cell towers, monitor crops, aerial photography there's no money in any of this that we can make. >> well, i mean, i i think the restrictions because the autopilotting aspect of the drones is still relatively rudimentary x the faa's got to be really comfortable with the fact that these drones are going to go where their supposed to go and not drop on somebody from altitude and take them out. the faa is very conservative when it comes to stuff flying over our heads. intel at ces demonstrated an autonomous drone that could navigate a fairly complex grid of obstacles -- cheryl: well but -- >> so we're probably a couple years from being there. cheryl: the faa the saying whoever's piloting the drone you have to have classification but you've got to have a line of sight. binoculars or not. how many farmers are going to be able to to truly use this to

survey crops? it doesn't make any sense. 60%, basically. mike? can you hear me? >> well yeah. so, i mean, i think with that, a, i think that line of sight is far less of an issue for farm ors that be it is for -- farmers than it is for a lot of other uses. and these are proposed rules. i think it's very important to remember these are rules, it could be two years before they finally reach the final ruling, so it's not like this is what we're going to wind up with. i think this is probably just a first step. we've got all of these companies like amazon that are going to have plenty of time to develop their autonomous technology the faa has these test sites in nevada and elsewhere to really get a better handle on the capabilities of the technology, and we're just starting to see kind of these companies like intel really taking the safety and addressing the faa's concern, and there's still time left to do that. while this is certainly a blow initially, it doesn't mean that the game is over.

cheryl: well, amazon is saying there is not going to be a game if you don't play ball with us. we've told all of you, apple's mystery vans that have been cruising around california. we've shown our viewers these pictures, but now there's some clarity emerging. "the wall street journal" reports apple's developing an electric car. that puts it in direct competition with elon musk from tesla. i want to take this first to you, rob, because initially we thought these were for driverless car now we're thinking maybe an electric car. what do you think? >> el i think it's an electric driverless car. the technology's showcased here is driverless technology. that's what they're testing on the van. and recognize most of the car companies are going to go very slow in the driverless. but remember tesla got do the market, got to be a leader in electric because they jumped on electric with both feet. i think apple sees an opportunity here that somebody could jump on self-driving with both feet and steal a march on the other folks. and recognize in an apple or

tesla store, this is a lot of stuff you could sell in those stores. cars in apple stores, ipads and -- [inaudible] cheryl: well, you know what, mike here's the thing if you're elon musk and tesla, you've got to be shaking in your shoes. his stock down double digits over the last six months and apple keeps going up and up and up. they could buy tesla at this point. >> they could. i mean, i don't know that elon musk is necessarily shaking in his shoes for apple entering like selling cars as he does. i think elon would be the first to tell you that building an electric car and building out the network and selling them en masse is a difficult proposition even for someone like apple with their giant cash reserves. you know i think there is -- it could potentially be a useful thick. i think one thing i haven't heard a lot about talked about is they're a software company and now the with the advent of electric cars, you're looking at these as another platform for software, and that's the point of differentiation, and apple

cheryl: getting some breaking news into fox business. the ceo and president of transocean is announcing he will step down. steven newman has been ceo for the last five years, but he's going to step down effective today. the company's chairman is going to step in as the interim ceo. transocean has suffered as oil prices have declined over the last couple of months. breaking news coming in on a holiday, by the way. well the players in the $22 billion toy industry are jockeying to see which products will find their way to store shelves for the next holiday season. adam shapiro is standing by at the north american international toy fair that's a happening in new york. what have you got this hour adam? is. >> you don't have to wait until the fall, this is coming from odyssey toys, it is a drone.

these days? >> well we've actually had ten consecutive successful years so i think our quest is, of course to make sure we're doing something that is really meaningful to children and that we meet children on their terms. that's our focus in the company and i think construction play has meant or have shown improvement that that's very meaningful. cheryl: so kids still want to do things with their hands which is a positive sign also but you've also partnered up with disney, i i mean you're partnering up with all these movie franchises. is that where the growth came from last year? seems like it did. >> also in what you would say call lines the way you and i grew up, but the movie lines definitely was part of our growth. that's also a little bit part of the digital strategy from our point of view. cheryl: well you had the lego movie and star wars disney princess. >> because they all have different roles to play, and our portfolio for kids needs a

different age. cheryl: obviously, we've got a reporter out there at the toy fair, is that really still the important part of your business? >> it's a huge, important part for us. it's a major media opportunity for us to tell the market about our new products and also for us to meet our customers to show them the range for 2015 and create some excitement. cheryl: all right. where do you -- is it toys r us still? is it department stores? is it online? >> it's a little wit all of the -- a little bit all of the above. the iconic house for toys in the u.s. is toys r us, but target walmart, the online space is definitely increasing but, you know, still a smaller share of the total market. most toys are still bought in the brick and mortar retail. cheryl: at the toy store like you just said. well, it was good to see you again, soren. you've got some good stuff. >> thank you. cheryl cheryl we are heading into the last hour of trading right now except there is no trading, but you know what? don't tell liz claman that. imagine the market's still open.

really pounding the table on that? >> well he did his plenty of table pounding before. what moves him ahead in our fox news first index this week is the fact that the table pounding seems to have worked in the sense that the republican leadership is not willing so far to preemptively back down in any fight with the administration over this. and we heard from john boehner on fox news sunday with chris wallace and from others that the idea of a partial shutdown -- that is the 30,000 or so employees deemed nonessential in the department of homeland security taking a few days off -- is not considered the end of the world for boehner and says that ted cruz has been successful. cheryl: interesting. >> and maybe we'll be fighting out against -- cheryl: but rand paul, what's going on with him? he actually dropped a point. is that because cruz moved up? >> it's mostly a mickey mouse balloon. if you squeeze one ear, the other ear's got to get bigger. rand paul is continuing to do the right things, but that stumble he had with the
