administration to name an enemy ha is radical islam. they like to draw relative statements and use moral relativity but afraid of true relativity which is relative to the issue. christians aren't murdering by the thousands, and i say thousands almost weekly, and boko haram is not a christian organization, isis is not christian, iran is not ruled by christians but they're the world's largest sponsor of terrorism. charles: well, some think if you broaden it out, this is a president that chides us on everything. he's always chiding us it's a little belittling it can be about this his defense of radical islam or inability to call out certain elements of islam or how we eat about climb. whatever it is it seems his position is so superior to ours and wave his finger at americans. when it comes to christianity he's crossing a dangerous line

the day russian hackers gain access to sensitive information in the white house computer system. let's go to fox business' blake berman in d.c. for more details. blake. >> good afternoon, russian hackers are the ones believed to have targeted the white house in october. they targeted the president's schedule and classified information was not compromised. hacking activity originating from russia increased as the u.s. was imposing russian sanctions. a spokesperson for the national security council says they, quote, took immediate measures but the likely russia link reignites cybersecurity concerns for washington along with businesses and infrastructure all across the country. new york fed president bill dudley said -- charles? charles: that was definitely a shocker. thank you so much blake. last hour colonel ralph peters weighed in. he said the russians have a leg

up when it comes to security. >> don't blame the russians, why wouldn't they looked at insecure networks if we allow them to? all nations spy. all nations that have the wherewithal to do so, and we would love to do this to the russians, but putin's administrative networks are much more secure than the white house. charles: ellen mcgeorge alex, how is russia able to crack into the white house. the way you read the stories, one of the things, a run-of-the-mill effort and they got right in there? >> sure, team's technical sophistication is often not an indication of how skilled they are. in this case they used the simple tactic that really worked. previously compromised the state department network and my theory is that they sent using back compromise they sent e-mail as someone from

state department to somebody in the white house, maybe an aide, someone with access to the president's schedule. once they had that access they were able to get information they were after. so we call this a pivot you know, we had access -- russia had access to the state department network. they use that access in order to get what you are really after which is stuff on the white house network. charles: we had a story out yesterday about the faa being hacked, with a relatively known tactic that was i guess hacking 101 in your school of thought. how does this happen? how come our system why do you think our systems particularly at highest levels of government are so unsophisticateed? >> i don't think it's our systems are unsophisticated. if you've been on a government network it is ridiculously complex. the issue is you're going against the world's second best cybersecurity offense team in the russians and we don't have

the policy to back up that. it's ridiculous that we can say, okay, the secretary of state is allowed to run her own e-mail server from her home in upstate new york. this is -- and part of the reason for that understanding is they new the state department network was not secure. charles: is that suggesting hillary's home made network at home is more secure? >> no no, no absolutely not. i understand why they may have used that as a decision-maker, but she cannot compete with the monitoring resources, i'm sorry, ms. clinton cannot compete with the monitoring resources that the state department can provide. and she's in the perfect position of authority to say, or was at the time, to say we need to fix this we need a strong cybersecurity policy for one of the most important agencies we have in the government the state department. makes no sense. so i don't think it's a lack of sophistication, i think it's a lack of understanding that we can't make exceptions for people who are high enough up to say you know what?

we know that potentially it extends the allergy season, and can induce greater incidents of asthma or more severe incidents of asthma. we know potentially as temperatures rise we're going to start seeing insect-borne diseases that are not traditional to north america. charles: joining us is bob beans with the natural resources defense council. you agree largely with what the president is saying? >> no question charles. climate change is driving more sickness in the country. asthma attacks, allergies, heat strokes lyme disease, west nile virus and other sickness carried by mosquitoes and ticks. real health issues that are posing costs in the people. we need do something about it. president is saying let's protect our health and create benefits for people let's do it. charles: i know those things sound good when the

administration tries figure out how much dust particles add up to x-amounts of lives and x-amount of dollars, they go through extraordinary lengths and the calculations are always way off. what's the flip side of this. some say if we get climate change there are places where solid ice would melt and we would have lush gardens more food and people wouldn't starve to death and it would be amazing boom for the whole planet. >> lot of different impacts charles, you are right. look at heat stroke. we looked at 40 major cities, we found right now we have six superhot days on average. days when it is dangerous for folks to go outside. if you are elderly or have respiratory ailments or children, or folks who have to work outside all day. the rate we're going right now by mid-century, charles, 34 of the days a year, that means 2600 heat-related deaths every year in this country. it's a problem.
